I just received the Winter box, and got the special extra box with the swell bottle, some small serum bottle, and a portable charger. I’m really happy with the items for the price of $50 total. Shipping was slow, but the items are all high quality!

I am really disappointed to see that the throw is 100% acrylic. Yuck. No way can the retail value of a 50″ x 60″ acrylic throw be worth $79. If it was !00% cotton – maybe.

I really want that throw, but the comment below about this sub being difficult to cancel makes me hesitant. I hate having to call to cancel. Do they sign you up for a magazine subscription as well? I might be getting it mixed up with another box.

Cancelling is easy! Call them. You talk to a real person without having to go through a maze of prompts.

This was so EASY to cancel. I made one call, instantly connected to a nice lady that canceled it and did not offer a special deal to extend it, just said it was canceled and that they appreciated my business and wished me a good day. How easy is that?

I didn’t get a subscription when I signed up for the box.

If that dermologica was full size it would of been a yes.

This looks like such a good box. I am always tempted by throws, but I really don’t need any more….

This will be our third box… I bought the summer one for my son who just turned 21 and we just keep getting it (yes there was a Dopp kit in that one). I have 2 sons, and we part the thing out… super giftable and so far, really good quality stuff. I do steal most of the skin care 😉

This is my husbands favorite subscription box for the past 2 years! The contents are always current, useful, and high quality (and value!), and has introduced him to new products that are now his favorite. Absolutely love GQ Best Stuff Box!

This looks like a good box for the price. Anyone know how easy it is to cancel if I just want this one?

This was EASY to cancel. Want to be completely honest with my experience. My son had it for two months, out of state. Their system wasn’t set up for the buyer and receiver to be at different locations, but a quick, on the first try call and the customer service rep worked it out. My son received his kit, happened to receive the best options and was happy. He didn’t really like the swim suit and is in a state that is very hot, so fall/winter months will be wasted, so I did a quick call, which was instantly connected, stay connected, without a sales pitch, no hassles AT ALL. It was honestly, low key and easy.

This was the hardest sub box for me to cancel. You have to call during their business hours, and the call was dropped several times. I had to call four separate times to finally get someone, and then got some salesy talk to try to get me to stay, and then it was cancelled. I guess it isn’t “hard,” but they don’t make it easy.

Your experience was completely different from mine and I’m unsure what could have made it happen that way. I called and was connected to a person that instantly pulled up the account, said it was canceled and wished me a good day. I wasn’t trying to squeeze them for a good deal by threatening to cancel, etc, I just stated that I wanted to cancel and they honored it immediately and without any sales pitch whatsoever.

Sarah

Ahh, good to know. Perhaps not worth the effort then. Thanks, Victoria!

This looks like a pretty good box!

Looks like a solid box, but I don’t really need another dopp bag (seems like I have at least 2 from prior GQ boxes) and am allergic to lavender. I’ll probably gift the bag, the supplements and calming oil.
