The theme for one of the upcoming GlobeIn October 2020 Boxes is…Indulge!

Dear Mavens,

This month we have a scrumptious collection of handmade goods to support your deliciously guilty pleasures. I’m talking about your sweet, tasty, cravings for delectable baked goods! I just love the smell of pancakes on a Sunday morning, or cupcakes in the oven, don’t you? I encourage you to paint your house with the aroma of sugary treats and engage in some baking and bonding time with your family and friends. What better way to enjoy your time inside than with a yummy dessert and perhaps a glass of wine or tea. Sounds good to me!

The products we curated for you are not only sweet in taste, but also have a luscious, dainty, feminine look as well. I hope you enjoy the charming, floral decor to dress up your kitchen with a pop of color. I promise you’ll want to display these items and never put them away!

Enjoy!

What do you think of the theme for Octobe?

I’m very conflicted about GloebIn. Reading their impact report I feel they really are doing something good, however their CS is atrocious, and I feel the boxes all sort of follow a theme of basket + 2 items and you sort of hit a limit of how many of those sorts of items you can acquire. I will probably look to buy one off products in the future though, for example I bought a felt cat house and I love it. Will pop in time to time to see if the boxes start getting more unique.

Looks like the cloche cake stand thingy (personally I don’t care for the flower decor on the glass dome lid — looks like a child did it, whereas they could have left it clear or had a much classier design if they wanted to add color), the nutmeg powder, and I guess that wooden utensil, but I can’t tell what it is?

I haven’t subbed to this box in several months, and honestly the themes seem to be getting less and less creative … I would never resub because of the CS/shipping problems, as well as their stuff being insanely expensive, but I do like to check out their spoilers. It’s been a while since I thought something was really, really pretty and/or cute.

I think the tool is a wooden over rack puller.
