Jewelry Subscription is a jewelry subscription service that sends one to three pieces of jewelry to you monthly. The number of items you receive is dependent on what plan you select. And the best part is—you get to keep it all!

This review is for the Classic Jewelry Subscription Box, $36.99 a month, 2-3 piece plan.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Jewelry Subscription Box Review August 2020

Laser Sparkler (Size 7)

Would you look at this beauty of a ring? Upon first glance, it reminds me of something Julie Andrews would have worn during the filming of "The Princess Diaries" as it features a pale yellow stone in the center surrounded by tons of tiny clear stones that catch the light just right. Add the scroll designed laser detailing to the band and you have yourself a real-life princess ring! The inside band is stamped with the "925" marking, and the actual side of the band is encrusted with gemstones too! Considering all of the jewels and thickness of the band, this ring is quite lightweight and fits my finger comfortably. While this particular piece doesn't pair that well with my current at-home attire, I can excitedly/not excitedly (still trying to decide) say that because I will be heading back to work in 2 weeks I will get a chance to wear this sooner than later!

Scroll Necklace

When I opened up the necklace box, I have to admit I was a little disappointed when I first pulled out this necklace. I felt it was something I wouldn't get a lot of use out of, and that it just wasn't my style...that is until I actually put it on. The scroll pendant design features laser cutouts with a textured pattern, attached to the chain. Stamped with the "925" mark, the closing mechanism is a traditional lobster clasp that seems to be well made and closes easily, even when putting it on yourself. This necklace is perfect for a V-neck shirt, and I actually really liked how it paired with my black slacks and pocket 3/4 sleeve shirt. I felt it dressed it up well enough to wear to work, yet didn't look out of place. While this is something I wouldn't have picked out for myself, I found that I actually enjoyed the look of this necklace a lot more than I initially thought!

Scroll Earrings

The last item in this month's envelope was the earrings that match the scroll necklace. Like I stated above, I wasn't wild about the necklace at first glance, but after trying it on with a couple of outfits I have decided this set is just what my jewelry box needed. Like the necklace, these earrings feature the "925" mark and traditional fish hook backs. While being light and comfortable, they shimmer in the light and really add interest to any outfit. I found the bright silver color to really pop against black and grey clothing, giving it a beautiful finishing touch!

Verdict: Jewelry Subscription is a really fun subscription that always leaves me surprised. I love the princess looking ring, as I think we all need a little extra sparkle right about now! This month's selections all coordinated very well together, and while the necklace and earrings weren't something I would have picked out for myself, I found that I might be reaching for them more than I initially thought. If you are into accessorizing and surprises, (some good, some maybe not that good) this subscription is definitely one to check out! I can't wait to see what they send next month!

Can I ask what you chose as far as traditional or trendy? I like what you’ve been receiving and want to get the same style. Thank you!

I also didn’t like the earrings and necklace…until you wore them. They are really pretty, and I think they would be perfect for a formal or special occasion.
