I got variation #1 & I am fine with it. I miss the Elle magazine and the excitement of discovering new brands & products. Everything feels like a repeat to me. That said, I subscribe to 5 different beauty boxes, get two or three advent boxes each year, and pick up a few random boxes from time to time. Of course I get duplicates, stuff I would never use, and, happily, the occasional amazing surprise. I subscribe to too much and have been doing so for years. I find it hard to be critical when I think my expectations are distorted.

I like version 1 of this box.. last month I got version 2 of the lookfantastic box and they also gave me a makeup brush which was a 7th item..

I wouldn’t mind version 2 this time, though my boyfriend hates the scent of sea kissed. He thinks it is a grandma smell 😂 He said the same for Ouai…wanted me to get rid of it.
Version 1 is meh. Maybe I am on box overload.

Ugh I used to love Look Fantastic but them adding variations has completely ruined it for me. Especially when only a very small percentage of people end up getting the variation that is actually desirable and has a much higher value. To be honest though I wouldn’t want either of the variations this month but I locked myself into six months when I still loved LF so I’ll be getting one of them. I also dont love how tiny the products have gotten. I pay $17 a month for 6 tiny sample sized products and it doesnt seem worth it. You used to get bigger sizes and everyone got the same box every month. Look Fantastic has really gone down Hill in recent months and when my 6months is up I will not be renewing again
