My box arrived with a handwritten note. I am very jealous of this gorgeous handwriting.
There was a second card with details on this month's brand, Kahina Giving Beauty and on the flip side, there was a list of included items and more info on each! FYI: The size of the argan oil inside the box is actually 30 mL, with a retail value of $48.00.

100% Argan Oil, 30 mL - Retail Value $48.00
Argan oil is one of those oils that I love for nearly anything. Hair, nails, face, body, even as a cleanser if I know I am wearing stubborn makeup. I have noticed that depending on the brand though, there can be a slightly weird scent. Happily, this Kahina oil doesn't have that aside from a slightly natural and barely-there smell. This oil also feels super light and isn't greasy, making it a great choice for someone who might not love the heavier stuff on their face but still needs the beneficial antioxidants and moisturizing vitamin E that naturally occurs in this oil. I also like to apply a little of this to my wrists and massage it in before applying perfume, just to make the scent last longer!

Toning Mist, 50 mL - Retail Value $46.00
As a toner enthusiast, I am always thrilled to see one in a box. This one feels extra special inside its heavy glass bottle. It smells very delicately like rose petals and is filled with some of my favorite ingredients: aloe, rose water, willow bark, and more. The mister head could be a little more "misty" but that would never discourage me from using such a nice formula. I use toners like this between many steps of my routine, both day and night, as well as just throughout the day to hydrate my skin and give it a little extra dewiness. I have also been using them before masks lately and I really love the extra bit of hydration this one provides, especially if the mask has clay.

Antioxidant Mask, 50 mL - Retail Value $62.00
Aaaand here is the perfect sort of mask for just that! This mask smells of mint and eucalyptus and contains argan oil and rhassoul clay. It feels a little gritty on the face which makes rinsing it off a very exfoliating experience! It is packed with lactic acid and AHAs which promote exfoliation and improved texture (but can also make you a wee bit sun-sensitive!). Because I have a drier face, I spritzed myself with my toner and then applied this mask. I made sure to avoid spots I know are already dry, like the area around my nostrils and my eyebrows. After leaving this on for about 8 minutes, I gently massaged it off with warm water. My face felt so smooth and good! It felt like a very gentle detox for my pores too. I see this becoming a Sunday ritual for sure.

Facial Lotion, 50 mL - Retail Value $68.00
Ok, I am obsessed with this lotion. While it has some majorly moisturizing ingredients, it doesn't feel as heavy as the argan oil, raspberry seed oil, shea, and beeswax inside would suggest. It is naturally scented with some sort of magical creamy nutty smell that I really enjoy and applies like a dream. The slightly thin consistency absorbs in a snap, leaving behind skin that is soft and looks hydrated and smooth. It is in such a nice glass bottle that only adds to how fancy and high quality this stuff feels! This has been my daily moisturizer for the last (almost) week and it is one of my very favorites I have ever tried.

Moisture Mask, 30 mL - Retail Value $88.00
Finally, our last item is a moisture mask you can either leave on and wipe off, or sleep in. I would never tissue off such a nice mask, so I have slept in it every other night for the last week or so. This is a heavy duty sort of mask, which suits my dry self just fine! The most noteworthy ingredients are antioxidant heavy resveratrol (from red wine grapes), vitamin K (for anti-aging power!), mushroom extract, and other botanicals that fight free-radicals. It is also delicately perfumed with rose, geranium, lavender, neroli, blue tansy, and sandalwood. Delightful!
If you find yourself in need of a super dose of hydration like I did after using that mask, apply a little of the argan oil to your face before applying this moisture mask. It feels a little weird on the face, but I slept in this mix and my face looked SO great the next morning. It was so soft and smooth, and even a few of the little bumps I have along my jawline from wearing masks all the time were nearly gone.
Verdict: The See New Skincare Box certainly did not disappoint! I already know and love the Kahina brand, but my previous exposure to them was limited to their life-altering Beldi soap (I recommend the eucalyptus, though they also have a rose scent!). Their skincare line is just as fantastic and I am floored by how much I loved these products. It felt like being at some fancy spa. I know packaging isn't the main point of skincare, but there is something about a heavy glass pot or bottle that elevates everything for me, and the black glass felt chic and edgy. Do I sound like I am swooning? I am. This box also had a value of $312.00 which is insanity for a $44.00 box. If you want one for yourself, keep an eye on the See New Instagram profile. They appear to be restocking the box and should announce it there! This is certainly a box I will be keeping a close eye on. Thanks to our readers for the rec!
