It runs $49.95/box with free shipping and has a new curation by the FaceTory team every season. I just love their super cute packaging and info booklet design too!

FaceTory Lux Plus Box Summer 2020 Review

FaceTory Lux Plus Box includes a little booklet full of info about each included item and mask. This is an excellent guide for learning more about the ingredients inside each formula and the correct way to use them.

FaceTory Collection Cloud Puff Gentle Foaming Cleanser, 150 mL - Retail Value $16.95

I am a cleanser hoarder and I have found that FaceTory's own-brand products are really nice! Needless to say, I was pretty excited about this tube! The formula has chaga mushrooms and oat extract, and also boasts being pH balanced, too. The texture is also kind of a dream. It looks like a pearly cream straight out of the tube but add water and massage it between your palms? It turns into some sort of magical creamy cloud foam! I loved this stuff. It left my face clean, calm, and still retaining a good moisture level.

Logically, Skin Hydro Multi-Shield Defense Logic, 1.35 fl oz - Retail Value $29.00

Sunscreen, I love you. And SPF 50? Heck yeah! This cream does what so many facial SPF formulas struggle with: it feels great on my face! It absorbs well and doesn't feel greasy. It also has a really nice herbal+floral scent. I wear sunscreen year-round but rely on these heavier SPF ratings in the summer, so this tube arrived at the perfect time.

EssenHerb Tea Tree Cream, 1.69 fl oz - Retail Value $32.00

Big tea tree fan here, especially when I have a random breakout on my face. Lately, because of masks, my jawline is a hot mess! In addition to the tea tree, this formula also boasts my boo, Centella Asiatica (AKA cica!), which is such a great anti-redness ingredient. This is a lighter-weight cream so if you have oily skin you will still be able to enjoy. For me, it is a great day cream consistency.

Coscodi 35˚ Botanical Olive Facial Cleansing Oil, 200 mL - Retail Value $32.00 (currently on sale for $10.21)

Two cleansers! I love this. Our first one (above) was a cream, but this is an oil formula, so the two together are ideal for a double cleansing routine. I prefer to use oil cleansers on dry skin to kickstart the removal of makeup and dirt. I then wash it away with warm water and often follow up with a cream cleanser. The majority of this formula is Olea Europaea Fruit oil which is wonderful for skin, especially in a cleanser sort of application. It leaves behind some hydration without overwhelming skin. In addition, this cleanser has a soft, sweet scent that makes it a joy to use.

Detoskin Green Tea Eye Mask, 60 count - Retail Value $30.00 (currently sold out)

Who wouldn't love a big pot of hydrogels for their eyes? Add in the big ingredients including green tea powder and fruit extracts? Perfection. Many of you know I prefer to stash my eye gels and masks inside my fridge and this was especially true for these little masks! They are very thin but packed with serum that smells just like tea, and you can see the little specks of tea inside the gels. They do tend to slide down your face slowly while worn, but I just slid them back into place as needed. It was totally worth it! You can also wear these underneath any of the included sheet masks to keep them in place and give your peepers a boost.

Holika Holika Chamomile Tea Brew Sheet Mask - Retail Value $5.00

I have never seen a mask come with literal loose tea! This two-parter has a little mesh sachet of chamomile buds in the first section that you open and add in with the sheet mask. The buds stay in the mesh and infuse the serum-rich mask which is in a resealable lower section. You leave it in there for at least a minute to infuse the mask, which has no scent before you add the teabag. It was fun to smooth around while it "brewed." Chamomile has such a gentle scent but the mask did indeed manage to capture it extract and while I didn't notice any massive benefits from this mask other than hydration, this was super fun and relaxing.

Here is the little mesh tea bag and what it looks like inside the mask pouch!

Dewytree Cica 100 Mask - Retail Value $3.00

This mask was also in the FaceTory 7 Luxe delivery this month! Here are my thoughts:

I am a big cica fan because my skin tends to have redness and this ingredient really helps! This mask has a weird but not unpleasant scent and is rather slimy and drippy. All of this combines for a mask that feels incredible on the face and fits well. Since it is 100% Centella Asiatica extract, it absorbs like a dream and left my skin feeling calm and refreshed.

Lassie’el Real Vitamin C Powder Mask - Retail Value $5.00

This mask was also in the FaceTory 7 Luxe delivery this month! Here are my thoughts:

This is a cool three-part mask that you activate by rolling the packaging which pops and releases an ampoule into a vitamin C powder, into the sheet mask! Vitamin C is a brightening ingredient for skin and it has also been shown to fade dark spots. I think that is less potent in a mask than in a more long term cream, but hey, every little bit helps!

Detoskin Kale Cleanse Sheet Mask - Retail Value $4.00

This was actually the first mask I reached for from this delivery because I thought the picture was so relaxing! My skin was also in need of a nice detox treatment and the kale and tea tree inside the sheet was ideal for that. The mask material was a soft apricot sort of color and the clear serum had a light and fresh scent. There was literally so much serum you could rub down your neck and enjoy! The mask itself had a cooling effect and a little bit of pleasant tingle! My face felt like it had a much needed reset after I removed this.

Elishacoy Lift-Up Mushroom Mask Sheet - Retail Value $3.00

This mask was also in the FaceTory 7 Luxe delivery this month! Here are my thoughts:

Also a mushroom fan, so pretty thrilled to see a shroomy mask inside this month. This one is black truffle-infused, so it feels earthy AND fancy! There is also copper tripeptide in here, which is an anti-inflammatory superstar. This felt super moisturizing and very sort of "outdoorsy" in a very sheet mask sort of way.

Cosmetea T3 Brightening Mask - Retail Value $3.00

Our last mask is a brightening one, due mainly to the vitamin C inside! The booklet mentioned it was a nice choice for morning since it wouldn't leave me feeling sticky or tacky, and I found this to be true. On these make-up free days (and weeks) a mask like this gives me a nice radiance for the day.

Verdict: This FaceTory Lux Plus Box had so many great things inside! I felt super spoiled with the first 5 full-size items. They all had really great ingredients and the textures and scents were all A+. The 6 included masks all felt really well-curated and there was a ton of variety. With spending so much time at home these days, I am really trying to pamper my skin and loads of sheet masks and fun K-Beauty formulas are always welcome in my stash. This box had an overall value of $162.95, which is fantastic for a $49.95 box.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I just took off the T3 mask- it was SO sticky. What are they talking about? It made my skin dry and sticky.

Has anyone here received the Lux Plus Wecome Box (since the Summer box sold out)? Interested to know what was in it.

I’m still waiting for them to charge and ship my box since I subbed a little later. Nothing in this box really excites me but I think I’ll like everything regardless. I’ve never tried an oil cleanser before so I think it’d be cool to get it!

Nothing like having a cooling face mask on a daily basis especially with how hot the days have been. Love this sub, the quality and variety of the masks are amazing.

Ashley

Breakouts along the jawline are almost certainly hormonal and not mask related.

Hey Ashley! Normally I would agree with you. But mine have exclusively started after my mask-wearing. I know I heavy mouth breath in there and that humidity is wrecking me haha!

I just skipped this box. This box is amazing but too much of tee trees for my aged dry skin. I love this box that’s why did not want to cancel it completely.

It was my first box of theirs and I will be back! I adore it all! Just did the Cosmetea mask and it felt great! I’ve done the tea one, C mixing one and the dewytrea one. I’ve loved them all!

I love Facetory! Their products and customer service are amazing.
Their website says the summer box is sold out but if you subscribe you will get a welcome box. Sad I missed this one but might sign up for the welcome box!

Ah, thank you for pointing that out! Too bad!

I really ought to just subscribe – I always think about it, and then by the time I’m ready to pull the trigger, it’s sold out. I wonder if the Welcome Box will have products from past boxes? I’d be thrilled to get anything from the Winter or Spring boxes.
