FabKids (little sister brand to Fabletics and JustFab) is a monthly clothing subscription for boys and girls that allows you to shop in two ways - you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:

  • Take the FabKids quiz for your child (for multiple children you can add a kid) to note their size and style preferences.
  • Each month, FabKids releases a new collection and they will curate looks that match your child's preferences which you can view in their personalized FabShop.
  • Shop those looks at 40% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $29.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
  • As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied towards future purchases.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

FabKids Girls June 2020 Review

When you sign up they will ask you a few questions about your child: their name, age, clothing size, favorite weekend activity, and which outfit you prefer out of a few options. This helps to personalize your child's "FabShop" each month. If you have multiple kids you are shopping for, there is an option to "add a kid."

This is the packing slip we received with instructions for returns and exchanges on the back. We are heading to the beach soon and so I took advantage of the sale they were having to find some fun beach picks for Liv!

Hi-Low Floral Ruffle Dress, Size S - Retail Value $34.00, VIP Cost $26.95

Liv doesn't have any maxi dresses for this summer and this one with the ruffles and bright, colorful florals seemed like it would be perfect for her. She was in love from the moment she saw it! I think it is so pretty in addition to being a little stretchy and very comfortable. I also love that it's a longer dress because she is in a very active phase right now and doesn't always sit like a proper lady! This will help her achieve some modesty! Lol. This one was on sale for only $10.78!

Tropical Hibiscus Dress, Size S - Retail Value $34.00, VIP Cost $26.95

This dress is one that I was hoping would match her brother's shirts for some coordinated family photos, but the colors turned out to be just a few shades off from what I needed. I knew this one was a risk, but I figured it was still a really cute dress with its tropical look and since her favorite color is pink, I knew she would wear it! It's actually a bit more grown-up looking than I'd like considering she is only 5, but I think it will be really cute with a little cardigan over it! I like the cute bow detail and the buttons along the skirt. This one was on sale for $16.17.

Palm Tropical Kimono, Size S - Retail Value $32.00, VIP Cost $29.95

Our last beachy item is this bright, fun kimono top. I thought it would work well as a swimsuit cover-up for her, but it's actually really nice and will look great over a white top and jean shorts! She loved this one as well. I ended up paying full price for this one, but I had a $10.00 off coupon which made it $14.95!

Star Lace Up Sneaker, Size 2 - Retail Value 26.00, VIP Cost $19.95 (Currently on sale for $12.99)

I needed to add a little something to get free shipping (otherwise it costs $6.95) and these shoes were on sale for $9.97, so I figured I would snag them for a nice end of summer/into fall shoe. They are a lot cuter in person than I expected and since I sized up to the next size, they were big on her, but not so much that she won't be comfortable in them in the fall with a pair of socks! It's always a risk buying shoes ahead of time for her with the way she grows, but considering it saved me from paying for shipping, it's really like getting these for $3.02, right? 😉

Here they are on. They look cute with shorts, but they will be great with jeans or leggings in the fall, too!

The Verdict: This month I was able to score a lot of fun, tropical items from FabKids for my daughter, and most of it was on sale for a great price! I love taking advantage of their sales and the clothing is always so cute and definitely appeals to my daughter and her love of fun pink prints! Everything fit her well and will be great for the warm beach weather. We ended up paying a total of $57.59 after taxes with free shipping for these four items that normally retail for $126 ($98.80 with VIP savings). That averages out to about $14.40 per piece and is a total savings of $68.41 which isn't bad considering we received a pair of shoes, two quality dresses, and a fun kimono!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, these pieces are still available!

Value Breakdown: The total retail price for everything is $126, but the VIP total is $98.80. That’s a VIP savings of about 22%. Since I paid sale prices my total was $57.59 which is a savings of 54%!

I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kids; 1 girl and 3 boys. While I have been reviewing boxes since 2018 and I love the luxury of trying new products, I'm also balancing it out by dabbling in a little bit of homesteading, too. We now have 4 chickens and a rabbit and my sourdough starter is going strong! I love learning about new brands and sharing the great things I find with others in hopes that they find something new to love or to fit their needs!
