Enchanted Crystal of the Month Review

First, you’ll see a greeting from Adam of Enchanted Crystal. I love these personal notes as they explain behind the scenes details.

Our specimen(s) this month is Tektite!

Tektite

FYI: The larger piece is about 1.5 inches long, while the smaller is 1.25 inches long.

These are certainly on the smaller side, but they have a BIG cool origin story. Basically, Tektite is glass formed when debris shot into the sky from meteor impacts fall back down to earth and cool down instantly. It is also what gives them the motion lines that run down them from the air whizzing by as they cool on their journey back to earth. That is wild!

Enchanted Crystal always sends bonus crystals or minerals in a small bag as well.

Good to Know: These are all about an inch long or a little shorter.

Dragon’s Blood

I loved Dragon’s Blood as a kid because the red and burgundy droplets really did look like the blood from some sort of mythical fantasy creature. This smaller stone doesn’t have many of those red spots, so we can assume the dragon is probably ok.

Picture Jasper

This is one of my favorite types of Jasper because each one is like a little work of art. You sometimes can spy landscapes and other familiar shapes in these stones, but this one seems decidedly like modern art. Or the spots and stripes on a very cute cat.

Guinea Fowl

This is another pattern of Jasper, and one that is closely associated with calming of the mind. It has always reminded me a little of terrazzo!

Verdict: This month’s Enchanted Crystal selection might not look like much, but the backstory and collectability factor here is huge! I am thrilled to add these to my collection, along with the little bonus crystals. I have yet to meet a Jasper I don’t love!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
