We received this one-page insert which includes photos of our items on the front with brief descriptions of them along with their retail values on the back. They have included their contact information as well as a disclaimer about how it is the responsibility of the adult to determine whether the items included are appropriate for the child. As someone with a Special Education background, I love that they include this since every child is unique and responds to various stimuli in different ways! There are some items that may not be appropriate for every child depending on those needs.
They always send a little motivational card each month and I especially enjoyed this sweet design and quote!

Tactile Figipod - Retail Value $9.99, Listed Value $12.99
This Figipod has a somewhat firm texture with smaller spikes which feel so good when you run your hands over them! It's a great sensory tool that is nice and quiet. You can set it on your desk to rub your hands over or even place it on the floor to run your foot over if that works better for you! I found it to be very calming myself.

Frog Flingers - Listed Value $6.00
These little rubber frogs are pretty fun! When you stick your finger in the loop and pull back it allows the frogs to be flung across the room. Since they are rubber and floppy, they aren't as dangerous as they sound! They even included a little target for us to use to fling them at which was great practice for hand-eye coordination! Since they are stretchy and rubbery, they are fun to fidget with as well.

Stockmar Modeling Beeswax (2 pieces) - Listed Value $6.00 (Buy 6 pieces for $19.60)
This wax is super stiff at first, but as you play with it, it warms in your hands and becomes more malleable. It also smells really nice since it is made from pure beeswax. This was so soothing and calming to work with once it warmed up. I did test out twisting the two colors together and while they molded together nicely, the colors stayed separate which I thought was cool. It does harden back up when you're done playing with it so I recommend flattening it back out before putting it away. I rolled ours into two balls and it took quite a while to get it warmed back up that way!

Narwhal Squeezy - Retail Value $2.99
This little narwhal squeezy is so cute! When you give it a squeeze a little bubble of blue water with sparkles in it pops out. It also has a little keyring so you can hook it onto a backpack or your belt loop to take it on the go!

Animal Water Bead Squeeze Ball - Listed Value $6.00
This animal squeeze ball is very similar to our narwhal in that when you give it a squeeze a bubble pops out of the center, although this bubble is filled with little water beads for even more tactile fun! The puppy itself is made of soft fabric and it has a zipper at the back so that you can replace the ball inside. It also has a little clip at the top so you can take it on the go as well. Somehow my 3-year-old managed to poke a little hole in the ball so it is now leaking a tiny bit of water, but since it has a zipper I was able to remove the ball and I think we could easily replace it which is nice! The hole was very tiny and while he managed to puncture it somehow, it's actually pretty thick, so hopefully, it will hold up better for others!

Ooey Gooey Octopus - Retail Value $9.99 (On sale for $5.99)
This large octopus is pretty gross looking, but my son LOVES it! He loves creatures of all kinds and this squishy octopus went right into his sea creature collection. It's squishy, but still pretty firm and the tentacles have a lot of texture to them making this a great sensory fidget toy. I love that the tag also provides some educational information about the octopus!

Wikki Stix Rainbow Pack - Listed Value $5.00, Retail Value $7.94
The last item in our box was a set of 24 Wikki Stix which is already a favorite toy of ours. These sticks are coated in colored wax and they mold and bend so you can create different shapes with them. You can bend them, twist them together, or wrap them around your fingers. These are fun to play with and I usually keep a few of the smaller packs in my purse because they are perfect to entertain kids while you're out! They also came with some great ideas for designs and a page with details on how to recycle them to make them handy around the house like using one to wrap around cords and hold them together!
Verdict: This month's Sensory TheraPlay box was filled with so many fun, squishy creatures! While they were all squishy, they each provided a unique tactile sensation and my kids loved each and every one of them. I thought the frog flingers were really fun and I found the beeswax to be incredibly soothing. The Figipod was a unique tool that I could see being really useful in a classroom setting and the Wikki Stix felt like a nice little bonus item. Overall, it was a pretty fun and unique mix that we enjoyed. The total retail value using a mix of listed and retail values comes to $48.91 which is just a bit over the $48.22 ($39.95 + $8.27 shipping) cost of the box. While it's not much over the cost of the box, I always find some value in the curation of such fun toys and we enjoy the surprise of opening it. It's also incredibly convenient having it shipped right to our door!
