GlossyBox May 2020 Box Full Spoilers + Coupon!

I signed up in April, never got a back trying for a couple weeks to get help. Finally today they tell me oh you will a regular box cuz we sold out. I didn’t even want wild thing box but I guess I’ll be getting 2 boxes in june

I just recieved this box by accident! I only wanted April because I had a good discount but didn’t cancel fast enough and this came as a surprise today. Not even a shipping notice or tracking number! I’m searching to find if people like Bellapiere or if I should give it away. I can’t remember if it’s another Steve Laurent brand because they’re both made in China. If anyone wants to know what you get, I got the
-gold box,
-blue CBD aloe vera sheet mask,
-Steve Laurent palette,
-Eyeko fat eyeliner (I’m actually excited to try the fat one!),
-Elemis
-bellápiere lip creme in antique pink
Everything is full size except the Elemis

April was my first Glossybox and May unfortunately is my last, not April so I’m not familiar but is it weird that they matched their boxes to the Steve Laurent palettes?

Still no sign of my April box, but I received the May box today and the Eyeko Eye Do isn’t even the full size. The full size is 2.0ml and this is 1.8ml which makes me think it’s old stock. I couldn’t give away half of the stuff without embarrassment. Glad that I didn’t pay full price for my subscription, but after my April box never arriving, I want a refund for April 3020 – December 2020.
At least the zebra box looks cool.

I got mY box today. No shipping info , no knock on my door. I’m lucky no one stole it. The box is cute but says glossybox all over it. I was hoping to be able to put another gift in the box for a zebra mad friend. She doesnt wear make up so there goes that idea.
I almost feel sorry for eyeko lol. I think everyone has a gazillion of their black liners. I don’t even open them anymore. Its not that they are bad i am just tired of receiving so many. The lipstick is cheap and the eyeshadow is that cheap Ali stuff. Basically i paid for a nice Elemis sample and another mask. We can get masks for 1.99. I wish i hadn’t resubed. Even the people i give my extras to will be bored by another sheet mask, eyeko and a cheap palette.

I got my box today and it had 1 mask and 1 of the eyeliners.

Sorry Glossybox, as soon as you make business with the umbrella company that owns Steve Laurant, Dirty Little Secret and Faccia Skin or any other Aliexpress makeup & skincare company, I cant ethically purchase you. If it’s the budget issue, please offer us drugstore or indie brands. But bringing a product that the owner/Ceo deliberately deceive customers, it’s frustrating and sad for your subscribers.

I subscribed due to the box design and Elemis. Well, that’s all I’m interested in the full spoilers. Sad.

Wow. That lady behind the “luxury cosmetics” Steve Laurent brand sure does know how to con her way into defrauding a lot of people.

For anyone who isn’t aware, SL is a shell brand under the Dirty Little Secret and Faccia Skin umbrella of garbage. This woman buys a bunch of junk makeup on AliExpress, slaps a new label on it, then marks it up 5000% and sells it to beauty boxes. Any box that supports her after this information has been openly available for months doesn’t deserve your business.

Ugh April was my first month with GlossyBox and I actually liked my April box even though it took forever to get it and I couldnt get a truthful reason for why from CS until about 5 emails in. I was hoping after seeing the Elemis cleansing balm as a spoiler that this months box would be at least decent. I was wrong. I dont want any DLS products so I won’t be using the palette. I actually like that brand of sheet masks (I got the Aloe Vera one in a VeganCuts Beauty Box) but its ridiculous if we each only get one and not all 3. I mean this is a $21 beauty box so I feel like one sheet mask counted as one of the 5 items in the box is ridiculous but they did that last month too. I dont care about the Eyeko eyeliner but I think it’s safe to say we will each only be getting one of them not both. I’m definitely cancelling Glossybox, May will be the last one I ever paid for.

I’m gonna say it’s one mask and one of the eyeliners. The box advertisement says “5 beauty must-haves worth over $100“. One of each of those items makes the value $101. I don’t think this is a bad box. I’ll use the liner and the Elemis so I am at least getting more than what I paid. I still have that underlying feeling of waste though any time I get a box that sits mostly unused. And that is why I’ve cancelled the majority of my subs. Just too many products sitting in a box in the closet.

I actually don’t think this looks that bad. Is it amazing? No, but the masks sound nice, the lip color is pretty (even though it’s Bellapierre) and I’m actually intrigued by that Fat Eyeko liner. I can always use or give away black eyeliner. Shrug.

My April box has officially been lost by DHL and all Glossybox is giving me is a $12.99 Glossy Credit. I’m not pleased as the April box was their best monthly box in ages. Grrr

ANNNND…that’s what I get for purchasing something because of the box design…holy smokes! I’m so stunned I can’t even be mad. It’s too funny. At least it was only $16 for this and now I can cancel and stare at my $16 pretty box! Hey I guess I got what I paid for! LOL.

I have to say though, my absolute favorite part is that is states above, “*We don’t know if each box will include both eyeliners or each mask.” Like wow, just wow. I have had my belly laugh for the day and I feel better! That is not a dig at MSA in any way, I just mean that it is funny that there is even a possibility that they might not include all 3 masks, you know what I mean? 🙂

I bought April’s box and never received it. Tried many, many times to contact them but they would not respond. Finally 2 weeks ago got an email from them saying they sold out and someone would be in contact with me in the next 2-3 days. Never heard from them again or got my money back.

Was thinking of subscribing but staying away from Steve Laurant or any brands linked to the Faccia cream fiasco.

$40 RV on that palette lol

Hard pass on this month.

And to think i was even considering staying with the subscriptionjust because of the box design and the elemis balm…glad i came to my senses!
