  1. So far the only items sold out on customization are the Amika blow out spray and the kimono cover up.

    Really not a fan of the new FFF setup where the remaining items are randomly selected for us. Anyone actually liking it?

    • No – I really wish annual subscribers could make all choices. Last box I felt like I would have picked the other item in every single choice. I really hope I don’t get the eyebrow pencil – universals never work for me.

    • I don’t love it either and felt I received a couple of items I wouldn’t have picked last winter (I skipped spring). This time feels a little better. I’d prefer the perfume oil and foot cream and cleanser. But the only item I wouldn’t use at all is the makeup drop. I just don’t use this type of product. Same with makeup erasers – the one I received last year is still in the box.

    • These are good choices, but I may not get what I want! I think they should have the same for everyone…so as not to create box envy. I do like some surprises though.

    • Here’s hoping I at least get the cleanser. I love all Murad products but never seem to get them.

    • I’m new to this box. Is there any way to submit your requests like through customer service?

      • Nope. I want to say there’s a quiz you can take that they claim will help them personalize your box (it was years ago when I took it), but I’m positive it has no impact on what goes into our boxes. Anything you don’t customize is just randomized.

    • I wish annuals could pick these too. I’ll probably end up cancelling because of that when my annual comes up. I always seem to get the items I have no interest in and can’t even find a home for.

    • Agreed, it’s absolutely horrible, unfair and a bad idea.

      • That would be a great idea for annuals to be able to select all items or for everyone to get the SAME last three items

    • man, the remaining spoilers would have been the best part of the box for me, but I have a very strong preference in each pairing, so won’t roll the dice on it anyway

  3. I was thinking about adding on a second box. Has anyone done this in the past? It looks like you do not get to pick anything on the added box

  4. I skipped this season. Makes me sad, because this is my favorite subscription. I just don’t like or need anything. :/ I went ahead and renewed for the year and hope that the future boxes will be more than expected.

  5. Make sure you check everything today to confirm your choices. I finally got #5 to work for me yesterday, or so I thought – this morning it showed as “surprise” and the item I had actually selected and saved is now sold out and no longer an option.

    • Thanks for the recommendation I checked mine it was ok. I would have been annoyed if the item I picked was out.

    • Have you looked again? Nothing category 5 looks sold out right now in the app. Only the kimono in category 2 currently shows as sold out. The issues yesterday were beyond annoying and I would be so mad if the item I had chosen were sold out.

      • I just checked again and it’s still showing the Amika spray is sold out, ugh. Nothing else was speaking to me, but I guess I’ll go with the vase 🤦‍♀️

    • My choices for category 2 also showed as surprise me so I contacted customer service and they had my choices recorded properly. The representative said they are experiencing a display issue but I would still be receiving my choices even though it still says, “surprise me”

  6. Does anyone know when the 3 products everyone receives will be released?

    • Go to Instagram and search hashtag fabfitfun, I think I just saw the three other products I just can’t make them out lol

      • Yup! Today I saw another post with all of the options. Three categories with two different options for each.

  9. To anyone that got the Kate Somerville Goat’s Milk Moisturizer last season, what are your thoughts? I decided to get a different choice last time, and am seriously considering it for the summer but I’m torn. Let me know if it was a holy grail hydrator or not.

    • Hi Ragsy, I am 65 yo and used the moisturizer religiously for two weeks. Sadly, no difference was seen. I was also expecting a thicker, hydrating type feel. IMO the product seemed to be on the thinner side compared to other jar moisturizers.

      • Yes, I agree. It seems very thin, and I don’t feel like it is very moisturizing.

    • While I agree it is thin, I found it to be very moisturizing. I used it throughout the winter and it was the only thing that kept flakes around my chin and nose at bay. I got it as an add on this time and was so happy to see it again!

    • As someone who has super sensitive skin that breaks out from most products, this is the only daily mositurizer I can use that doesn’t cause me to break out. Been using it for the last two years and I couldn’t be happier.

    • I also find it is not moisturizing enough for my dry skin and I have to either add another moisture layer before, after or both. However, it gives my face a fresh, pretty glow enough that I am considering getting another jar. I often have to layer my moisturizers anyway so I just kind of accept that. The one thing I don’t like about it is that depending what I layer under or over it, it can pill. That still isn’t a deal breaker for me as I like how it makes my skin looks on no make-up days (which for me is most days even before covid) but it is something to be aware of.

    • I have oily skin and I also find it is not moisturizing enough. I had high expectations and I’m really disappointed. I don’t recommend it at all.

    • I really like it a lot, but if you get it, prepare for it to be surprisingly thin. Like, when you screw the lid on, it will seep out the sides thin. It didn’t seem highly moisturizing to me, but it is very calming.

    • Picked that one out for my mom, thought she would’ve loved it when she got it she was so excited, unfortunately she ended up being very disappointed she said it was too thin and the packaging got the product all over the place and she didn’t see any results.

    • It is too thin and not moisturizing enough for me. The container is not appropriate for the thinness of the lotion, it should be in a pump. It makes a mess.

  10. So I went thru the selection process twice on the app and it seemed like it didn’t work. It still showed all 5 items as a surprise. I went to the website and saw the message about technical difficulties. I waited about an hour, closed out the app and just reopened it, selected Box and it is showing all of my correct selections and add-ons. So even though it didn’t look like it worked earlier, it actually did work. Hang in there, everyone. Technical difficulties happen 😊

    • Mine finally appeared to have worked but when I double checked it had removed my selections for Group 5 and replaced them with “Surprise Me.” This was a big problem because I had picked two things I really wanted, the Amika spray and added the beach spray. When I attempted to edit my choices I was able to replace Surprise Me with the Amika but I couldn’t add the beach spray. I guess they’d reached their quota for extras in that category. Considering I did everything right and am not responsible for the technical issues or subsequent delay I feel like they need to adjust it to exactly what I had picked originally. I emailed customer service (what happened to their chat feature that used to be available 24/7?) but of course they didn’t read it just scanned it. They saw “technical difficulties” and sent some generic response that didn’t help at all so I had to email them again. It’s sad because I’ve always had great experiences with their customer service. Now it seems they’ve become like everyone else.

  11. I was able to customize, but also couldn’t add extras in choice 5 and 2 of the three “boosts” are already sold out. I haven’t even received the official “customization is open” email from fff yet. So many add-ons were sold out really quickly too. Quick sell outs really make the annual subscription feel less special or worthwhile, when in the first hour so much is already gone.

  12. I hope everyone who got their customizations to go through has gone back and checked their box. I have “successfully” selected multiple times (like, A LOT) but still cannot get #5 to stick – it keeps showing up as “surprise me” even though it saved my choice. This is getting so frustrating.

    • I also got the surprise me for selection 5, despite trying Eve option. Frustrating indeed!

    • Same! All my other ones are there but #5 won’t stick and keeps going to surprise me. Of all of them, I’m okay with not picking that one but still…

  13. Had a lot of trouble with 5, getting on initially, even some of the other options but eventually I managed. Really does seem ridiculous that they haven’t been able to remedy this. Can’t wait to hear what the last 3 are

  14. Ok just tried going through the website to make selections since the app wasn’t working, and a message popped up in chat that they are having technical difficulties with customization and are working on it. Guess I will try again later!

  15. I have used the app and gone thru the selection process twice. When I click on View Your Box, it stillshows all 5 items as a surprise. It does show my 2 add-ons, but that is all. Should I keep going thru this process until it takes?? Should I maybe use the website and not the app?

  17. I got the towel, cooler, sunglasses, pillow sleeve, detangler, vase and the stay safe bundle. I’m excited to get my new desk lamp I added on. All this time at home has made me want to change out some of my furniture and other home accessories.

  18. I finally got through, all the way to Boost, after 40 minutes of struggling and redos. To find a mask set on Boost already sold out…how?! How were that many people able to get through and buy up all those when so many of us kept going round and round?! The add ons masks were gone too. I’ve been searching for some because I’m high health risk (my lupus attacks my lungs), and can’t seem to find any. I’m not going out in public until I do. Anyone know where to get some? I see all the homemade ones but I dont have the materials. Thanks for your suggestions! ❤

    • I ordered reusable ones on jane.com, they’ve had a lot of options on there recently! Good luck!

    • Hi Rena — I ordered a set of 3 masks from Linen Salvage et Cie (linensalvageetcie.com)
      I placed the order 4/24 & received them today via USPS.

    • Try LA Gear. I bought a pack of three fabric masks
      for $30.

    • Etsy. Many with 2-3 day delivery.

    • Dhvani.com is offering a free mask to everyone in the U.S.

    • I don’t think it’s a good idea To wait after FFF To get a mask…. shipping is long!

      • I agree, if anyone still needs a mask best to get one from someplace that ships more quickly.

    • Ezwrap.com is an Alabama company and the masks, while they feel thin and breathable, are made from an antimicrobial material. They are adjustable and washable. They have the h1n1 and other test data on the site. Hope this helps!

  19. I can’t save my customization 5 at all, it always goes back to Surprise Me. It’s so annoying!

    • Same here! And I did try numerous times…

  20. I got the towel and added on the diffuser, cooler bag, giving keys necklace, pillowcase and the vase. Between Ipsy and Allure I have so much skincare that I couldn’t pick any. I’m not sure I love anything but these kinds of boxes are usually the ones that I end up using the most. I’m excited to get it and see what else we get. 😁

  21. Glad I wasn’t the only one struggling!!
    This is my first time EVER to splurge on a box subscription & sign up for the Annual tier. I had been stalking these boxes forever & the $200 bundle finally did it.

    I am kinda bummed out that we can’t pick the same item twice, I was really hoping I could get another towel & give it as a gift.

    • You can purchase an additional Summer box for $40. Considering that the extra towel alone would cost you $15, you would get an additional 7 items for an extra $25. Just an idea.

  22. Can choose everything but 5. It just keeps going to surprise me no matter what I save.

  23. Got through and options 3-5 were all changed to surprise me. Went back through a dozen more times and got 3 & 4 changed to my choices but #5 is now telling me there are no more choices left. Anyone else having this problem?

    • Me! I was able to pick two items (serum and vase) and when I click on my box it only shows the vase.. I tried again and now is saying you just can choose one option and doesn’t let me pick the serum, every time I try to change it they give me the vase option 🙁

  26. A lot of wasted time with website problems. I’m regretting signing up for another year of this. Even if I don’t lose some of the choice options I’ve now spent over 30 mins trying to make choices. With still nothing. After years of this, I should have just canceled and not be pulled in again by a good promotion.

  28. It took awhile to load but I was able to make all my choices and hit finish. I am glad I already watched spoiler videos and knew what I wanted because I was able to just hit choose then next one each page so I never spent more than few seconds on each page. I was planning on doing mystery item for option 4 but that was not available so I got ice roller. My other choices were the towel, detangling spray, beach spray, and the Rco .

    Site allowed me to Customize all the way to the w=end plus BOOST page an show all options on MY BOX page.

  33. Seems like it’s not working for anyone right now. I can make the first two choices and then it hangs up.

  34. I upgraded to annual for the first time ever and their website (customization) crashes. UGH I got to page 2 and then nothing. I tried my iPad, phone,app, and laptop. So frustrating. I hope I get all the stuff I want!!!!!

    • That’s how I feel! You’d think after all this time and the many seasons of customizations plus knowing how many more people will be on the site given the current situation where few people are still working or leaving their house for much of anything they’d have been better prepared.

      I pay for an annual for FFF only. I don’t like paying that far ahead but I do it so I get early access and the ability to customize more items. I’m going to be really ticked off if I’m not able to get the things I want. This is by far the best box they’ve had in ages. For me and my needs anyway. Guess we all just have to hope for the best.   35. Site keeps crashing. Couldn’t get pass customization # 2. Seems like every season there’s something that goes wrong.

  36. Took like 8 tries but FINALLY got my customization done. God the DNA, cooler (+shampoo add on because I NEED it with swapping closed still), kate summerville, and the serum. Overall happy finally but lord that was too stressful. Would gladly pay 25 for the kate and the shampoo set so the rest of the box is basically a freebie.

  37. And…the site’s not working. I submit my customizations, and it changed them to “surprise me”, and now the site won’t load. So frustrating!

    • Check again, it showed that for me then said uh oh when I clicked then sent me back and they were all there saved. I also took screenshots in case.

    • Same!!! Tried going back in to take photos to prove my choices and can only get as far as #3. My correct choices are there but shows surprise me

      • I ~think~ it’s fixed now…I did take a ! 🙂

    • It let me get all the way through but when I went in to view the box, my customization choice 2 was changed to surprise me as well. I did take screenshots.

  38. Is anyone else having a hard time with the website this morning to customize? I’ve tried the app, their website on a laptop, and their website on mobile and it’s just not loading anything, and now the customize button is removed completely.

    • Not working for me either.
      Tried on my windows laptop and android mobile in two different browsers on each device. I can select the customize button but it just ends up on an error page. blarg

  39. Customization WAS open but it wasn’t working well. I couldn’t get past #2 and now it’s closed’

    • The site is just busy. I could only get through the first choice, but I kept at it, and I’ve been able to customize all five at this point.
