We know you love our monthly favorites posts so we're doing a monthly post highlighting our favorite BEAUTY discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite skincare, green beauty, and makeup items from the past month:

Megan's Favorite:

The Item: tarte Tarteist PRO Remix Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow Palette

The Cost: $49.00

From: BoxyLuxe

Why I love it: The assortment of shadows is truly gorgeous! I love how you can literally build any eyeshadow look from this palette. Go neutral or bold with ease, since there are colors from soft browns to electric purple to choose from!

Taryn's Favorite:

The Item: Beetroot Cheek + Lip Tint by Ere Perez

The Cost: $28.40

From: The Beauty Box by Bombay & Cedar

Why I love it: I have been using this lip tint so much since receiving in the March Bombay & Cedar beauty box! A red lip really brightens my day and pulls even the lightest makeup together into a full look. Let's be honest, we all need a little red lip right now to make us feel a little more like us during social distancing (I even wore it to a date night in our family room with my husband). This tint is made with beetroot which is full of antioxidants and minerals to keep your lips hydrated. This is a natural pigment so you can really build to go as light or as dark as you want! Some readers even commented on how they sometimes apply lightly with their finger to get just the slightest bit of color, an idea I totally love!

Ragan's Favorite:

The Item: Avant Skincare Supreme Hyaluronic Acid Anti-Oxidizing Duo Moisturizer

The Cost: Buy 1.69 fl oz for $125

From: Vegancuts Beauty Box

ACTIVE DEAL: $40 off. No coupon needed - just use this link.

Why I love it: I wasn't sure what I thought about this at first, due to the presence of artificial dyes and a strong fragrance. But then I stopped using most skincare products for a few weeks while on lockdown, purely out of laziness, and my skin was doing poorly as a result. I've been using this at night and am seeing signs of recovery, and no irritation, and really it is just what I needed at this time.

Brandi's Favorite:

The Item: Blackberry Violet Lotion Spray, 4 oz.

The Cost: Listed Value $15.00

From: Wicked Good Perfume

ACTIVE DEAL: Save 15% off your first month
CODE: MSA15

Why I love it: This lotion spray is packed full of fruity blackberry goodness. I love how fresh this one is and the formula is great, too. This is much more liquidy than typical lotion, but it rubs in so smoothly and is such a light application that I can apply it any time of day. The scent is a mix of luscious blackberry fruit, violet leaves, jasmine, and vanilla sugar. While the blackberry is strong to start, the finish is mostly vanilla sugar. This is a perfect spring scent to me and it helps me feel a little better about being cooped up inside all day!

Hi there, I'm Christen. I am all sorts of things:

🌳 a writer who loves to convey feeling

🌲 a mother who wants to have just as much fun as my kids do

🌳 an outdoors-lover who's achieved #1000hoursoutside with my family

🌲 a low-maintenance self-carer

🌳 a general hungry person with an unstoppable sweet tooth

You'll find me collecting stationery and squirreling away stickers, riding bikes and swimming with my family, creating outfits in colors and silhouettes that make me feel amazing, wearing big earrings, drinking beer and asking my husband to feed me harmonies to sing, taking my vitamins, living for dancing to live music, roping everyone into a craft, being human and vulnerable, and celebrating the phenomenon of being alive.

...and doing it all with energy, delight, and jokes along the way.

Ipsy sent me a whipped cream cleanser by Honey Jarret. Oh my gosh it felt so Luxe. It foamed up nicely. Had just a hint of honeysuckle, just enough to smell nice, without being overpowering. The full size tube is a reasonable, middle of the road price of $18.00. I am already ordering the large tube.
This was my favorite product and “Shari Approved”

Haha, yes! My grandpa used to recycle the juice from cans of pickled beets to pickle hard-boiled eggs! Sure made some interesting-looking eggs! 😂

Alice

Great choices, all!
