April 2020 Dapper Dog Box Review

Each box comes with two info cards, one listing the featured item of the month—the Dapper Dog monthly bandana—and the other has some social media info as well as a little more info about the charitable nature of this box.

Murray is ready to dig in!

Perfectly Pastel Bandana

Every month Dapper Dog includes a festive double-sided bandana. This style is simple to tie and fits around my dog's neck perfectly. I love this month's pastel designs. This month's theme is "For Some Bunny Special," featuring two soft, Spring patterns.

Luckily Murray is in touch with his feminine side and feels very comfortable in pink. Here is the bandana modeled on my BFF (he is my 8-year-old Corgi-Maltese); the medium size fits him to a T! He is totally overdue for his Spring haircut, so please excuse his quarantine 'do. We are both looking a little shaggy as of lately!

Petlou Rabbit Plush - Retail Value $12.99 (on sale for $10.98)

This is all of Murray's favorite qualities all in one toy. He loves chasing bunnies in the yard, and this bunny looks almost as good as the real thing! He has never caught up to a real one yet, so this is extra tantalizing for him. It fits perfectly in his mouth, and he loves the loud squeaker inside of the bunny's belly.

I've never seen him so excited about a toy!

Le Petite Treat Quiche Lorraine Cookies, 8 oz - Retail Value $11.99

This bag of treats smells so much like quiche, I couldn't even believe it! It smells exactly like cheesy eggs, and frankly, it smells delicious. Murray thought so, too! These treats have bacon, cheddar, and pumpkin, the last of which is great for digestion.

Yum! I am really impressed with this recipe which does not include any synthetic preservatives, chemicals, wheat, corn or soy. The biscuits have a nice crunch to them and are shaped like little hearts.

Exclusively Dog Peanut Butter Bone, 3 oz - Buy 12 for $39.99

Murray is actually a very picky eater, and he typically isn't a fan of peanut butter-flavored snacks, but he devoured this entire bone in one sitting. I normally wouldn't let him eat the whole thing, but it made him so happy! Made in the U.S.A., this treat is wheat-, corn-, and soy-free and is made from all-natural ingredients.

Perfect fit, haha!

Spencer the Crinkle Monkey - Retail Value $5.99

Murray was jazzed about this toy, too! He loves the crunchy arms and legs and the squeaker in his belly. Ronan, my 5 month old, got a big kick out of Murray throwing this pink guy around. A lot of the photos I took of Murray playing with him were very blurry action shots, so I waited until he was calmer to snap the photo below.

Murray doesn't mind giving Spencer a piggyback ride.

Verdict: Dapper Dog's April box was full of hits for Murray. He loves everything and is currently begging for another quiche treat as I have the bag laying beside my laptop. The value of the items received in Dapper Dog usually adds up to what you would pay for the subscription; for us, it is worth the cost to have treats and toys delivered each month, especially during this quarantine. Plus, he loves his dapper bandanas!

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.
