Welcome to our monthly post highlighting our favorite discoveries from a variety of women's, beauty, and even fitness subscription boxes! Here are our favorite items from the past month:

Marne's Favorite:

The Item: Mette Ditmer Boudoir Towels, set of 2

The Cost: Estimated Value $27.00 (similar here)

From: Norlii

Why I love it: These towels are so nice and bring a touch of color to my neutral bathroom. I loved receiving a set as well so I can swap them out more frequently!

Winc February 2020 - porter and plot chardonnay bottle

The Item: 2018 Porter & Plot Chardonnay

The Cost: $32.99 (or $27.99 through the subscription)

From: Winc

Why I love it: This was my most expensive wine of the month and it was worth every cent! Smooth and medium-bodied while still feeling refreshing, this bottle didn't last long in my home. I was really fond of the notes of citrus, lemon rind, and white peach, which were complemented nicely by the minerality of crushed stone. Delicious!

Megan's Favorite:

The Item: Playa New Day Hair Mist

The Cost: $24.00

From: Ipsy Ultimate

Why I love it: This is a magical hair perfume + dry shampoo + hairspray combo that I am obsessed with! I love the floral scent and how it refreshes my tressed between washes.

Krista's Favorite:

The Item: Geometric Woven Wall Hanging

The Cost: $65.00 for the boxed kit

From: The Crafter's Box

ACTIVE DEAL: Get 25% off your first box!
CODE: GETCREATIVE

Why I love it: Weaving this wall hanging was such a fun and enjoyable new craft to try! I thought the techniques we were taught were much easier than they seemed, and I quickly became enamored with weaving. I could hardly put this project down! The final project is a wall hanging that I'm not only proud to display in my home, but I also think that it looks like something I could have bought in a store - I love crafts like this that don't appear to be handmade, but they actually are!

Christen's Favorite:

Wantable Fitness Edit February 2020 free people movement sunny skinny sweat pants

The Item: Free People Movement Sunny Skinny Sweat in Black

The Cost: $48.00

From: Wantable Fitness Edit

Why I love it: I've had my eyes peeled for a pair of close-fitting sweatpants or joggers for quite some time, but was hesitant to take the leap (especially buying them online) because pants fit has to be perfect to be comfy. I was blown away by the cloud-like qualities of these sweats, seriously! Plus, I thought they looked becoming on my body. I usually look for really inexpensive lounge clothes, but these pants are making me reconsider that approach!

Becca's Favorite:

The Item: Sweet Grace Laundry Soap

The Cost: $9.00

From: Habitation Box

ACTIVE DEAL: Save 10% off
CODE: HOLIDAYCHEER

Why I love it: Let's be honest, I HATE doing laundry, but that has all changed since I received this sparkling tea and patchouli-scented laundry soap. Seriously, guys, this smells heavenly! Because it is some spendy stuff, I've been using my regular unscented laundry soap, and adding a dash of this to try and prolong it as much as I can! My husband even commented on how nice it smells- without being too overpowering, and because he is so sensitive to scents, that was a huge deal for me!

Jessica's Favorite:

The Item: Jeffree Star Cosmetics The Gloss in Succulent

The Cost: Estimated Value $18 (different shades available here)

From: Jeffree Star Valentine’s Day Mystery Box

Why I love it: Wow- this packaging. It is absolutely breathtaking and I am in love with it. The shade Succulent was created just for this box, and it’s a sparkly pink gloss with flashes of blue and purple glitter. I am 100% that person who will wear glittery lip gloss with my athleisure clothes to go grocery shopping, especially when it is as comfortable as this one- there is no stickiness. Plus, I found that while it looks incredibly sparkly when I first apply it, after I rubbed my lips together a few times the sparkles faded a tad. I definitely loved the formula on this (and the packaging) enough to want to try other glosses from this line, and honestly I want like five more.

Brandi's Favorite:

The Item: First Class Getaway Tote in Black Stripe

The Cost: Retail Value $59.95, VIP Price $29.95

From: JustFab

ACTIVE DEAL: Get your first pair of shoes for $10! No coupon needed - just use this link.

Why I love it: I had a specific purpose in mind when I ordered this bag and it has come in handy so much already! My kids are getting a bit older and don’t require quite so much luggage these days so I wanted a bag that I could open up and throw a few things in quickly for when we have to run into a store or are popping in for a playdate. This is the perfect size to throw the basics in for the kids with some room to spare. I love the design with the stripes on the outside and the cute stylish wooden handles. It will also make a great beach bag for the summer! It holds a lot more than I anticipated while still feeling like a smaller to mid-size bag and I have lugged heavy water bottles around in it and it seems to be holding up well so far!

Ragan's Favorite:

The Item: Peak Labs Flexvit Revolve and Mini Bands

The Cost: Revolve for $29.95 and Mini for $16.95

From: Gainz Box

Why I love it: I have a rather large collection of fitness bands at this point, but I've been using bands for long enough to know that sometimes they fail, and if you're not careful, when they break, the regular latex and rubber ones can snap back and hit you, potentially causing injury. Regular ones are often not as comfortable to hold and use. I have never seen any like this before but they do a great job of offering resistance, being more pleasant to use due to the fabric content, and they don't seem as dangerous -- when they wear out, it will be like the waistband in sweatpants rather than a rubber band in your eye. Also, I appreciated the workout cards that came with both so I  could get some ideas of exercises to do with them.

Abby's Favorite:

The Item: Get it Together Pencil Cup

The Cost: $12

From: ban.do Goody Bag

Why I love it: This little cutie has been keeping me company all month long! I love his little googly eyes, and he is the perfect space saver since he fits flat against the wall. My essential eyeshadow brushes fit perfectly in this friendly little cup.

Hi there, I'm Christen. I am all sorts of things:

🌳 a writer who loves to convey feeling

🌲 a mother who wants to have just as much fun as my kids do

🌳 an outdoors-lover who's achieved #1000hoursoutside with my family

🌲 a low-maintenance self-carer

🌳 a general hungry person with an unstoppable sweet tooth

You'll find me collecting stationery and squirreling away stickers, riding bikes and swimming with my family, creating outfits in colors and silhouettes that make me feel amazing, wearing big earrings, drinking beer and asking my husband to feed me harmonies to sing, taking my vitamins, living for dancing to live music, roping everyone into a craft, being human and vulnerable, and celebrating the phenomenon of being alive.

...and doing it all with energy, delight, and jokes along the way.
