MightyBody February 2020 Review

Included is a paper with some info about this month's featured products and a little background info on the brand.

Grip Clean Hand Soap, 8 oz – Buy a 10 oz tube for $9.99

This soap boasts that it is the first "dirt-infused soap," though the dirt inside appears to be of the clay variety, namely bentonite and kaolin. It has a gritty texture due to the pumice particles inside, and a nice earthy lime scent. This reminds me a lot of the mechanic soaps in the big orange tubs my grandfather keeps in his shop. I did find it to be drying, but exceptionally cleansing.

Bamboo Nail Brush

This is a pretty perfect complement to our new soap. I like to keep nail brushes closeby the basement sink, as that is usually where the dirt of gardening or other messy activities gets washed off.

Verdict: MightyBody sent two items that are pretty close to perfect for the start of spring! Will and I both do LOADS of gardening, outdoors, and remodel projects this time of year, and our hands get beyond grimey. This duo will certainly help us feel cleaner after any of these activities.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

I saw this on an episode of Shark Tank! That’s pretty neat.

Mighty Body consistently falls short of the purchase price. I do not understand why anyone would sub to a box that delivers less than you paid for it.

How do you figure? It’s RV is consistently just about what you pay and you don’t have to pay additional shipping. I love this sub. I get eco friendly items I often didn’t know I needed and they become instant faves. This month I got unpaste tooth tabs. I have tried other tabs before but they required a subscription service. Now I have an alternative. Not everything is about saving 75%. I have used every item from this sub in the 1.5 years I’ve been subscribed vs most sub boxes where you get 6 things and end up liking half. its less wasteful and I appreciate that. To each their own.

I agree but I guess the idea is you don’t have to go search for products on your own that have safe ingredients.
But since they only send 1 product per month I don’t see how it’s really a curation + you could always google for ingredient-safe products that you actually need…

I would guess that the nail brush has a minimum value of 3 bucks. Seems like it at least matches the purchase price. Some people like the discovery of it, and that in and of itself has value.

The nail brush is listed on the MightyNest site (search for “nail brush”) and has a non-member price of $4.99 (and a member price of $4.24).

The Grip Clean soap is also listed on the MightyNest site (priced at $9.99 for non-members / $8.99 for members).
