Why are the middle bags so boring? February didn’t get the same quilted pattern, and now March doesn’t get the bling? What the heck??? Do they want people in that category to downsize to the smaller one?? Just for a cuter bag??? Disappointing, month after month.

I actually did the opposite and am skipping my regular with the bling, which I dislike, and upping to Plus, which I had been wanting to splurge on a month of for a while, since this is the cutest bag I have ever seen from ipsy imo

Don’t get me wrong, just to clarify, I’m not saying every bag needs bling. I’m saying be consistent with the material for all 3 bags, like they are consistent with colors and theme. If the other 2 are crushed velvet, don’t make the Plus bag out of vinyl. I actually loved the material for the February bag for Ultimate. Love the feel and touch. Can’t keep my hands off it! Loving all the Ultimate designs. February, if they kept the Plus bag the same material as other 2, it would have been perfect. Well, I guess they are not keeping same color scheme in this one. No yellow in Plus. Lol. Oh well, consider the bag a bonus I guess. Lol

I am SO disappointed in IT Cosmetics right now… I have their cc cream in medium and tan. I mix the two according to my shade at the moment. At this point in the year, medium works just fine by itself for 2-3 months. So, when Ipsy had their full size foundation as add ons for only $12?! I grabbed one in medium. I thought it would be perfect because I use that shade the most and the ingredients in both products are close enough to mix if needed. But, the medium fountain is not even close to the same shade as the medium cc cream. I did take the time to look at IT Cosmetics website to be sure before purchasing to make sure. Yesterday, I did a side by side swatch test on my hand and face. 😳 Oh! No! The medium cc cream is darker and has pink to neutral undertones. The foundation is yellow! Yellow!!! Not at all what IT Cosmetics claims! I did put it on, but no! I look sick! Jaundiced! I took it off and started over by mixing in some tan cc cream. The formulas blend well together but the medium foundation has so much yellow in it! It’s completely unusable for me. Thankfully I only spent $12 on it. Now I’m stuck with a full size foundation I can’t use…
You can easily sell it Cosmetics foundation on Mercari, quickly, for more than 12.

I get the ultimate ipsy. I used to be so excited to get it! Now not at all. I pay $50. A month and the glambag plus is receiving better stuff. I use It cc cream too. I knew it was to good to be true. I only bought the $3. One. You can add dark. When your darker in the summer. Sorry 💔

That’s why I buy the cc cream in tan and medium. I showed my husband the two tubes (cc cream in medium and fountain in medium) side by side and he could see the difference. He even said the foundation looks more yellow. He asked if I could mix it. I put some of both on my hand and he was like WOW! I did add tan to both and even swatched on my face. My husband said he can see why I’m upset about it. I don’t normally talk makeup with my husband like that. I might ask him if he likes something or not… So, he knows I’m really not happy about it.
I have not emailed IT Cosmetics yet. I did notice that their website seems updated and much more descriptive of shades and undertones. So, medium isn’t neutral anymore? Funny. When I bought the cc cream in medium it was. Regardless, if it’s the same brand, medium should be medium. It’s very obviously not.

I’m sorry to hear it 😕 that’s definitely something I’ve noticed with It Cosmetics, inconsistency in colouring across the board. Not only that but their complexion products oxidize like crazy on me. I literally can’t wear any of their cc creams…and I tried mixing/matching all kinds of combinations. It’s just like their skin products hate my skin!

I’m sorry to hear that. I love a few of their products but not all of them. I absolutely love their secret sauce moisturizer, but their bye bye Undereye cream is SO weird! I saw someone doing an unboxing for Macy’s? I think? Maybe Sephora??? The sample of it is tiny but there’s a lot of packaging. A lot! The YouTuber’s sample of the IT Cosmetics bye bye Undereye cream had dried out in the pot and it came out whole. It bounced like a half of a bouncy ball! 😳 I’m not using the rest of mine. I’m starting to pay more attention to ingredients. I have tried so many different products over the last few years, but there are still a few things that are still my favorite. I have my go to blush & mascara, both are Avon and there’s nothing else that can replace either one of them. I know my blush is talc, but at least there’s no aluminum in it and I’ve been wearing it for like 30 years! I have one other by Tarte but it still doesn’t perform as well as my Avon one.
I’ve been amazed at how many different brands and types of skincare products I’ve been able to try. For my body, I do have to stick with everything being 100% fragrance free and hypoallergenic. My face? Not so much… Except purlisse. I don’t understand it, but every single item from that brand has caused some type of immediate reaction. I simply won’t ever touch their products again. But my face will tolerate the chemicals in it Cosmetics? 😂
I’m not at all upset with Ipsy. I think I will shoot them a quick email and include pictures so they know that IT Cosmetics products aren’t the same shades throughout. I’m definitely saying something to IT Cosmetics. They aren’t high end, but they’re not cheap either. Such a huge shade difference!

~tht is a great idea..!! ~i hve had two situations which rquired custmr service…they answred in a cple hrs(but garentees w/in 24)…both times w/in a cple hours.. & was eager to help w both situations…& mailed my products w/in two days..!! ~i totally give props to Ipsys cs….!!

Thank you. I appreciate it, but it was a few months back. I doubt there’s anything they can do. It was $12 verses the $39 it costs from IT Cosmetics. It’s not ipsys fault that it Cosmetics shades aren’t the same throughout their products.

So, once in awhile, Ipsy just randomly selects subscribers to choose something or get something extra. After ALL these years, I finally got that pop up for an extra item in my February Glambag. When I clicked on it, it quickly flashed that it would be the F.A.R.A.H. 160F face brush. I got that in my January Glambag, don’t mind a second one. But, it will be interesting to see what we get.
This post says our extra item for March will be sample size and based on our profiles. Again, it will be interesting to see see…

I got that pop up when I was choosing my ipsy for this month. My glam bag plus arrived today with an extra item: a tube of Cela Creme de la Creme. Looks interesting, but I will have to find my readers to see what it says. I need to buy a cheapo pair of readers to just keep with my stash.

That was the “extra” item I got too was the Cela Crem del la Crem cream. I had two Ipsy Regular bags each month and cancelled the one that had the pop up of an extra randomly selected person to get a free item. I remembered after I cancelled. I emailed Ipsy and asked about the item…even though I had cancelled and they sent me the free item by itself. Props to Ipsy for they always respond quickly the few times I have reached out. I had a shattered Huda palette and they responded and sent a replacement in less than a couple of hours of my email. That is just my experience though…it is very interesting about people opinions on the bags. I hated the Feb regular and ultimate bag but like the plus and I’m feeling the same about March, lol! I did end up liking my regular bag though after I got my hands on it, lol!

me too…two in two months…& previouy four months ago..& i nevr get the “gel crayon” as i perfer & spoke of in my profile…its always a black liquid pen…:(…maybe if the sent othr colors, it would peek my intrest, but she’s rght, (@ least im w her), enough when it comes to the black eyelinr… their r so many othr
options to throw in the bag…@ least it looks lile it whn they show the whole gbp collection.. i will say they’ve made some pretty gd skin care choices lately…!!!(ddnt wnt to end on a negitive note..)

I would so love for Ipsy to do a collaboration on the bags again like they did with Thursday Friday so long ago. Maybe one month they could do Vera Bradley (and give subscribers a choice of 3 patterns to choose from) and another they could get Fossil. And then ban.do for a fun bag set in the Summer. I agree…I feel that the bag is worth $5-$8 and then the samples are each about $1 if you only have to pay $12/month. The samples during add ons are $3 each! I mean you can choose exactly what add on you would like, but I wish people understood that $12 is a great deal and if you are not happy…look for another service. There have been some months I didn’t love recently, but then February and March look great!

I got the same thing for one of my Ipsy accounts (right before I was going to cancel my subscription). It said I was randomly selected to receive an extra item in my February bag. I never got that for my other Ipsy subscription. All I can say is it looks like Ipsy is working hard to win back the customers who were about to take their money elsewhere. Thank you Ipsy!

I agree. If it was for people who’ve been subscribed for a certain amount of time, or maybe had a certain amount of consecutive orders (no skipping months), that would be different. However, if this was just a random thing they did, without reason, then that’s not fair at all.

The post specifically says that it will be sample sized. I would love to know where people get free sample sizes of all these different brands. Maybe if I lived in New York or California or something, I would get these, but living in a very rural state where I don’t even have a local Sephora, I can’t obtain free samples all over the place. I’m thankful for what I get in my monthly subscriptions.

Ulta often has gift with purchases for online orders. Sometimes, these GWPs are quite nice. The last time I placed a $65 order, I received a velvet bag with 30pc of samples (about 1/2 of which were just single use packets) and a 3pc mini fragrance set.
