Ipsy is celebrating their 100th Glam Bag!

In March, subscribers will receive $2 in add-on credit! Your credit will be available on March 2nd.

Plus, every Ipsy Glam Bag, Glam Bag Plus, and Glam Bag Ultimate subscriber will receive a free bonus product in their bag. The bonus item will be a sample-size product, personalized through IPSYmatch.

So the Ipsy Glam Bag and Glam Bag Plus will each have 6 products and the Glam Bag Ultimate will have 13 products!

IPSY will also be celebrating all March long with giveaways, IPSY Hauls and more.

My subscription to the GB is expiring soon and I will not renew. It seemed to me that after I paid for a year long subscription my bag items became very small and I received a lot of things I did not want or could not use. They really don’t go by your profile on items you do not want to receive.

The last bag I got was the mauve quilted one , it’s really soft, but it sort of reminds me of those ‘Pajama Grams’ you see advertised on TV. Personally, I don’t need a makeup bag sent every month.

If I ever decide to resub, I will go with the monthly renewal.

I also wonder when our bags are held back and then when you complain they release them. It makes me think that maybe they are having a cash flow problem and only release them once there is enough cash to do so.

I was a subscriber last year and they never had add-one at that point so I have no idea how that works. Is it that you’re able to add on any of the items offered for a month? So if say you didn’t get something you wanted when you see the selections they chose, you’d be able to add it on?

I appreciate the gift, but I do miss the days when the surprise birthday gift was a full EM Michelle Phan eyeshadow palette and the bags were SO creative, cute and pretty. I used to look forward to the bags, but they are kind of boring now. Hoping they step it up soon and get back to the cute bags.

I am buying the GBP and Ultimate just because the free product and Add On Promotion sweetened the deal.

But why have the GBP bags been so ugly lately? Last month’s was almost as small as a regular glam bag and wasn’t the quilted material.

This is nice although I don’t plan on buying any add-ons. I saw the makeup bags during the Ipsy live stream on Facebook and I don’t like the plus bag at all. It looks cheap which is too bad because it looks cute in photos. The regular glam back is much cuter.

Happy what is coming in March. Thinking of getting UGB this time as a add on. I noticed Feburary plus and the March one are smaller like the regular bag. My February plus was the best, loved everything

I’m happy about the free items in bags and the $2 credit but do not like the way they are advertising it, it’s very misleading with the whole starting at $1 gimic.

It’s probably coincidental, and Ipsy probably planned this for awhile, but part of me can’t help but wonder if they’re not taking advantage of Boxycharm’s subscriber cancellations.

The $1 add-ons and add-on credit are the most exciting to me!

I hope by then my account gets to be one of the lucky ones in beta testing that get to add more than 5 add-ons!

I think it’s not five add-ons for $1 each. The way I read it is that they will give us each a $2 credit, making the net cost of our first sample size add-on $1. If we choose to use it for a full size $12 add-on, it would cost us $10. The rest would be regular price. Basically, they’re giving us a $2 coupon to use for March add-ons.

Yeah, I kind of skimmed the info page. After watching the ipsy live, it definitely seemed more like they count the $2 credit as making a $1 add-on from a $3 add-on. Which is weird. Just advertise it as a $2 credit, man.

I understood it the same way as Dia did. Each one of the subscribers will get a $2 coupon. Add ons will have the regular prices $3, $12, etc.

I’m glad they’re doing something extra next month. This month was a bit of a mess for me. My Ultimate appears to have never left their warehouse, but I still had to wait 10 days until I contacted them (today!). I had opted out of mascara and eyeliner in my Plus bag and yet I got an eyeliner this month! Hoping that they get back to me quickly and rectify things.

I was wondering is there a place on the website to see what you opted out of? I opted out on one or two of the bags so long ago that I don’t remember what I chose.

I don’t think there is. I kept my email from when they confirmed. Fat lot of good it did me, they were sorry, you might get them depending on your profile and what item you choose each month. To quote “based on your other reviews and quiz selections this box combination was the best one for you overall.” I would have loved sheet masks and since I always rate them high I am not sure why they felt an eyeliner was the best thing for me. They also told me to just keep waiting on my Ultimate that hasn’t been delivered or had any tracking since it’s still marked as pending.

I’m skipping GBP atm cause I only see one item I am interested in. Wish there was more to motivate me. I’m waiting to see GBU spoilers. I also wish we could skip bags and months with BC. I am this close to canceling my Luxe and Premiere with all the shady hoopla going on.

I did. I had to check a couple of times because I may have um, imbibed a bit and was questioning my reality at the time.

Ipsy makes these types of errors all the time. Just try to remember this moment the next time Ipsy sends you a “replacement” for a damaged item that’s a completely different product, or gives you a teeny partial refund, or forgets to include one of your add-ons, etc. 😉
