  3. I got great add ons last month FARMACYvGreen Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm this is a new product for me and love it! MURAD Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 great price and it’s a fabulous sunscreen but I wouldn’t buy at full price. The only item I didn’t like is COLOURED RAINE COSMETICS Liquid Lipstick in 24Seven- color not right for me.

  4. I love Tatcha too! I hope it is offered as a choice. The only thing I’m not so keen on is the Ofra (still trying to swap away the 2 that I have).

  5. I’m not looking forward to the eyeshadows. Pacifica eyeshadows i’ve received before just melt off my eyelids, even with primer on! Eyeshadows are my favorite part of my routine, but this formula just doesn’t work for me.

  6. I made an order for the add ons 2/13 & they did charge me shipping even though they advertised free. I did place my order just b/c I didn’t know how long it would be offered. I did take 2 screen shots one of the advertised free ship & the other of my order w/ ship charge. Sent them that and asked to be refunded my shipping. I got a reply that they did do that. I’ve learned that taking screen shots is very important in order to prove their issues to them. I hope that this can help some. I don’t think you should have to need to use proof like this but it’s Ipsy…
    I used this as my subject line – Advertised free shipping for last call add ons but was charged shipping
    Maybe that can help someone else!

    • I do not think you need to go to those extremes. I simply asked to be refunded and it happened in less than 24 hours. No proof needed.

      • I agree with you Lynda! You shouldn’t have to & every other time I haven’t.
        Like I said before it’s Ispy and the only reason I sent them screen shots was due to a past issue w/ their CS. The CS rep said she needed a screen shot of the issue & I never even thought to take one! I also haven’t ever been asked to take one before by any CS. Someone else also mention sending screen shots to CS as well. It didn’t take any extra effort in doing so, since I was contacting them anyways.
        Sometimes it’s easy & other times it’s a pain. It can just depend on who you get.

        Only mentioned it as possible help for someone if they were having issues! 😊

      • I find that ipsy customer care depends solely on which agent you get. I have had wonderful immediate help and help that took weeks and demanding a supervisor and finallhy cancelling service before anyone cared. I used to but 5 bag between myself and gift. Im down to small and fish bag plus.

      • Hallie I totally agree! It just depends on who you get! From my experience I’ve had more positive CS interactions than negative or difficult, thankfully. Sorry you had a frustrating experience but glad they weren’t all bad!

  7. Just got my glam bag for this month and not only are my add ons missing, but I got an entirely different bag than was revealed to me. Just contacted customer care to see what happened. On the plus side,they did send me to random bonus items. I had been told last month I would get an extra item(got two). Not sure what’s happening over there. Mostly annoyed because I want my add ons!

  8. Looks like Ipsy busted me for shipping on the add-ons I ordered yesterday. I ordered five $3 items but I checked my credit card and it was charged $21. I went to my Ipsy account past orders and it shows the items I ordered at a cost of $21 but at the very top where it lists your order number it again states free shipping. This crazy company just can’t seem to keep its act together. I’m mildly annoyed by the shipping fee but not enough to jump thru the hoops with Ipsy Customer Service to get it corrected. Live and learn, I suppose.

    • You don’t have to jump through hoops. I sent one email and they simply refunded my credit card. No flack, no hassle.

    • Contact them. They’ll refund immediately. They finally responded via email that they repaired the glitch on the site.

    • I don’t think it was intentional by Ipsy to charge shipping on last chance add ons. Mistakes happen IMO. Ipsy is NOT Boxycharm, they are humans and have excellent CS, so please reach out to them and explain your issue, they will fix it. Whenever I contacted them, they always got back to me and do their best to address my issue. Sometimes, it does take up to 4 days to get a response, but they will eventually reply. UNLIKE those horrible people at Boxycharm, they take forever to respond and give you the run around without fixing anything hoping you’ll get tired and give up. And if you are like me and you try to chase them, they will wait another while and tell you don’t worry honey, someone is working on your case and we’ll get back to you asap. It’s been 2 months now and they are still working on my case, really? I finally gave up. FYI, my issue was that they sent me the same Storybook palette for both my subs Premium and Luxe.

      • Try a post on Facebook…or twelve, lol. Seriously, I did that and they finally sent the items I should have received. Don’t give up; they count on that. Be a hound dog and get after them.

      • I’m speaking about your boxycharm. Ipsy has always been great.

    • I did decide to contact them about the free shipping and my card being charged. I got my response quite quickly and *Donna* apologized and said they’d be refunding me the $4.95. I’ll check my credit card in the next couple days to be sure it went thru. Thank you, Ipsy!

      • They’ve always been very responsive. Good to hear you got refunded.

  9. My replies appear at the top of the page for some reason.

    I ordered the Galentines Set on 2/12 while the description included the palette. I wrote to Ipsy when they removed the palette from the description. The RV was still listed at $134. I explained this couldn’t be correct and that I would not accept them editing the contents after I purchased it. They then lowered the RV. I received a reply 2/13 of them forwarding my concern. I asked them to cancel if they weren’t honoring the contents at the time of my order. I let them know I had screenshots and would dispute the charge if I did not receive what I had paid for. They have now “shipped “ ( it hasn’t, but my order is labeled shipped). I’m still waiting to hear back

    • Thanks for your reply. They’ve shipped my order as well. It’s too bad I didn’t take a screenshot; hopefully we receive what we’re supposed to. My main reason for purchasing this set was for the eyeshadow quad which retails for over $50.

      • Agreed! I sent an email that I want a refund. The Seraphina eyeshadow was the main reason I got the set! Ipsy will do the right thing and refund (I hope) if the eyeshadow is not mailed.

      I emailed them as well with the SAME exact issue! They also sent it up the chain of command. I also stated that without the palette, I didn’t want it, and either wanted to be refunded or to get the palette. Not cool to switch it up right after purchased!

  10. Did anyone purchase the ipsy galentine’s day set? When it was originally made available, it included a Seraphine eye shadow quad in the description, but it wasn’t featured in the photo. I noticed now they removed the Seraphine eye shadow quad in the description, and the crossed out value dropped from $132 to $80. I am going to be pissed off if I don’t receive the eye shadows. Seems deceptive…

    • I was going to order it, but saw that the eyeshadow was not in the picture, and someone on Reddit said if it’s not in the picture, they definitely would not be sending it, so I didn’t order. Giving them benefit of the doubt, it was probably an error rather than intentional deception, but pretty sloppy.

    • I emailed them as well after seeing Julie B’s reply. I wish I had the foresight to take a screenshot, but I had never had an issue w/ipsy in the past.

    • The seraphine palette also was not included in the video of Ipsy offers they do on Facebook and Instagram it was a mistake that is why it was not in photo and they erased it. A palette won’t be included they will probably just do a partial refund or cancel or let you return it.

    • So, i received a reply from Ipsy this morning confirming that I will NOT be receiving the Seraphine eyeshadow palette. There was no offer of a refund, partial or otherwise. While I understand listing the item might be an error, they also factored the cost of the item into the retail value of the set. That couldn’t have been an accident. At this point, it’s really the principle of the matter. I’m considering contesting the charge with my credit card company.

      • I emailed Ipsy today about this as well (I received an email from them this morning addressing the issue but no word on how they would make it right). Still waiting on a. resolution. Its not ok, mistake or not, not to honor what is listed in the description. If we purchased the set based on the items listed and retail value ($132 vs $80) they should honor it or provide some sort of partial refund (since a $50 palette is almost 40% of the original set value I would expect at least that much) or take the hit and send out the palette anyway.

        Anyone else get some sort of compensation?

      • My response thus far, after multiple attempts, has been an offer to return it for a refund and they would follow up with a shipping label. It has been days and no label. The package arrived with no palette and the wrong Hempz lotion. I used to receive amazing customer service from Ipsy, and still love them, but now I get virtually no reply since I added to a comment on Facebook about the Dr Botanicals sleeping mask not being full size in plus….now I am apparently on their crappy service list. I love Ipsy and sub to all 3 bags so really hope this changes…

      • All I got from Ipsy was a “We’re so sorry if you’re disappointed..” email. My reply requesting a refund was unanswered (it’s been seven days). I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. It’s only $17, but it’s the principal of the matter at this point. I suggest you all contact your credit card company as well.

      • So, after weeks, I reached out again stating I received no return label and pointed out how ridiculous it was to expect us to return this due to their error….got a response right away that they resent the label and they would let the team know the feedback to see if a different solution is an option….don’t see that happening. I spend a lot of money with them and usually have no problems, but it seems when you point out their error, they are no longer willing to give you proper service…

        Has anyone gotten a fair resolution?

  11. There isnt anything that I’d be totally unhappy with. But my oily skin probably won’t appreciate a dewy moisturizer or hydrating primer. Really hoping for the Pacifica eyeshadow and powder foundation.

    • Hydrating primers and moisturizers are exactly what would keep oily skin at bay. Our bodies produce the oil to serve as a ‘moisturizer’ because It’s in need of it. Use a hydrating primer and you won’t produce nearly as much oil. Trust me, it makes a difference.

  14. Hoping to take advantage of the extra add ons but shipping came up so I back out. Disappointed with the glitch.

    • This appears to be fixed now, I saw shipping this morning, but when I just checked it was removed so I placed my order.

  15. I have tried the Tatcha and Tarte in a previous sub and really was not impressed with either one, nothing special. I do want the MF powder foundation! I love there products! I know i dont want another Ofra bronzer, highlighter or blush!

  16. oh I hope Tatcha is a choice! My first experience with Tatcha was thanks to Liz, when I bought the MSA box. That was such an awesome box!!!

    • You are so right! That really was an awesome box. I loved everything in it. And it was all new to me. Liz made a great box! Do it again Liz!!!

  17. Will the Tatcha cream be available in the regular ipsy bag only? If I re-subbed for the Ipsy Plus would I still have a chance to get it or no?

    • It will might be available as add on so Plus people can add it for $3 otherwise no unless there is going to be full size version .

  18. Is this for the regular ipsy bag only? Like if I re-subbed to my Ipsy Plus, would I still have a chance at the Tatcha cream or no? Cause my dry ass has been dying to try it for agessss

    • OR maybe Tatcha is the extra deluxe sample coming in all bags .

  20. It’s cool that they give you a second chance to get add ons. It’s weird they want to charge shipping. Another thing I don’t like is that you can’t review them and get points like you can the first time around.

    • I messaged them about this because it says free shipping, their response though was, hummm I can’t seem to find your account information, completely ignoring the question I asked them about the shipping.

      • It’s really bad depending on who you get over there. I tried to change my opt outs last month and wound up with 600 points added to my account and a full size product to compensate me for essentially nothing.🤦😂 I don’t think my opt outs ever got changed, they just kept throwing free stuff and responses that made no sense at me till I gave up.💁

    • i’m not going to purchase until they make that adjustment to the shipping. I also sent an email and received a generic ‘will get back to you within 24 hrs’, and sent their obligatory list of help topics.

      • Me, too. If they are going to charge for shipping it’s just not worth the trouble of trying to get it refunded.

      • Yes. My time is more valuable than any stuff.

  21. I’m hoping for the MUFE blurring powder foundation. It’s been a long time since I’ve tried one. I would not mind the Tacha or the Tarte either. Please just not another eyeshadow brush! I don’t wear eyeshadow.

  25. Thanks for the head’s up! I skipped both my Ipsy bags this month and it still let me order. I’m not sure if it was a glitch or that’s always the case since I usually do not skip all my bags.

  27. I’m not excited for any of these, hopefully I’ll get some of the other products that will be offered. I have been loving the add-ons though! And they’ve all actually been making it to me since they switched to boxes instead of reopening the package that the bag usually comes in and stuffing them in there. I never used to get the add-ons that I ordered and paid for. I’ve been mostly happy with my bags too, I’ve had a few duds here and there.

    • My Add-ons have never come in a box. They have always been stuffed into the mailing pouch for my regular bag. No matter what they are, how big or how many. The pouches come barely closed. I’ve complained about how they do that because I have been missing products.

      • Mine ship that way as well, Lynda. I’ve never received add ons in a box, even though I receive a box with Plus! They’re always stuffed into the regular glam bag bubble envelope.

      • This may not be foolproof but from my experience they ship the add ons with whatever tier you ordered them “from.” For example, if I order during my GB reveal, they get shipped with my bag in the mailer. But if I order them with my Ultimate reveal, they get shipped with that box. Even when I split and order some with one and more with another they still split them up instead of consolidating. So if you want to make sure they are in the box maybe try ordering them on your Plus (or Ultimate if you have it) reveal and see if that works out??

      • It would work out if you get more than the regular Glam Bag. I used to get the Glam Bag and Glam Bag Plus and that is exactly how it worked. However, we used to be limited to two add-ons and I always tried to order the smaller items with Glam Bag but didn’t always work that way. They would in fact stuff two full size products in with the Glam Bag even when it was the smaller hot pink pouch. Since they started allowing five ad-ons I canceled Plus. So now they try to stuff everything into the pouch. Even five items.

  28. Being a pessimist, I expect to not get the things I want (Tatcha cream, MUFE foundation) and hope they will be available as add-ons.

  29. It feels like another brush as the bonus item.

    • I think the bonus item depends on your profile rather than everyone just getting the same thing…

      • I’m not sure. I received a bonus item in my February bag, and it was a hand cream.
        I have hand creams marked as rarely. I think it’s random.

      • From what I’ve read, this is different than the usual bonus items since everyone is getting them instead of just some people, but who knows 🤷‍♀️

    Add-ons are open again. It will ship separately and has free shipping. I added the pillow spray as an add-on and got it with my bag and I just ordered another one.

    • They are not open for me on any of my accounts.

      • You should see the banner at the top of the page if you go to the Shopper section.

      • It’s sort of hard to find. When you open your account it is a scrolling banner at the top with different offers. You have to click on it.

    • Thanks for the heads up! I maxed out on add-ons when originally offered, and was able today to grab a couple of other things I’d had my eye on. **For those of you who can’t find them, go to the Shopper tab, and there is a banner saying something like Last Call for Add-Ons. Click on that and you’ll be able to shop them.** There’s no link from the main page.

      • I just added on 5 more items and it’s also showing a shipping charge. I hope that comes off as it goes thru their process. The language at the top of the page specifically says shipping for zero dollars. Thank you to whoever mentioned they had opened up more add-ons!

      • really? weird – I got a nice note from ipsycare basically saying ‘our bad’ and crediting me the 4.95. Lemme know if you want the screenshots as proof.

      • Woooow!!! What’s up with Ipsy customer service?! They will let you sit for days on end without a response unless you’re talking about how much money you want to spend.
        Sent an email yesterday and the shipping and that I wasn’t going to be placing an order because of that, can you fix it after I place the order? Response; No, I’m sorry but if that’s what it says on the app, that’s what I have to go by. You should’ve thought about it sooner. Me: Read the Ipsy FAQS PLEASE! Response: I don’t need to, maybe you should. You snooze, you loose.
        So, I put a bunch of stuff in my online cart, almost $100 and left it there. I don’t want any of it and I made it perfectly clear in the next email thread I sent.
        Charging shipping when they say it’s free and this is how your company is being represented… Sent screenshots and then emptied my cart. One ipsycare person just cost y’all how much money and probably more…

      • Inevitably, I will get the Ofra bronzer since I have opted out of bronzers as they never ever work for my pale complexion… and I have never given a good review to anything by Ofra….

    • Thank you! I’ve been skipping my GBP for several months now but really wanted some of the adds on for this month! Do you know if Ipsy has been doing this every month & if so is it always on the same day? Since I’ve been skipping I’m not on the app all that much but check here ☺️

      • I got so excited about the add ons that I posted my 1st response before looking at the shipping. It is also charging me as well. I am going to contact Ispy care w/ screen shots & hope they will fix it! But if not I’m okay paying for it, but they really should honor it to everyone! Good luck! ☺️

      • They’re response to we was so stupid. “We didn’t charge you for shipping for add ons as they shipped with your bag” 🤦🏻‍♀️ Literally so stupid. I sent them 4 screen shots and they still can’t seem to figure it out.

      • I’ve never seen a mid month add-ons. I was just on there doing my reviews and using my rewards and seen the shopper section was down. I had a feeling they were doing something worth refreshing constantly. This must have been it. Happy accident.
