earfleek minimalist but groovy earrings subscription review

EarFleek is an inexpensive monthly earring subscription that delivers a new pair of earrings to your door for $3.49 each month. Choose from three subscription options: “Minimalist but Groovy”, “Boho Babe”, or “Silly and Fun.” If you want a mix of all three, choose the “I Don’t Give a Hoot” subscription!

EarFleek also offers a Premiere Tier subscription with the same four categories for $9.93/month, featuring “more pop, personality, and color than ever before.”

This is a review of the Minimalist but Groovy, $3.49 a month, box.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

EarFleek Minimalist but Groovy January 2020 Review

The packaging for this subscription has changed for the new year. They arrive in a kraft paper mailer, tucked inside a metallic pink bubble mailer. The earrings are now in a drawstring pouch.

Inside there is a card to pass along to friends.

They have a shop on their site, so you can purchase a specific pair if you like what you see. It will cost you slightly more to buy a specific pair from the shop, compared to what you’d pay via this subscription.

Precious Marble Earrings – Retail Value $13.99

These are certainly unique! A glass orb is captured within a gold-colored metal frame, and hangs from a French wire hook. These have a decent weight to them which makes them feel nice on the ear without being too heavy. I think these kind of look like little mini Saturns. My only complaint is that the iridescent finish is a little scratched.

Verdict: This month’s EarFleek earrings are unlike anything in my collection. I am not 100% sure if I love them or not, but it is nice to see something so unusual in this subscription.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Since EarFleek is random, you may not receive the same pair as I did.

COUPON: Use code MSA50 to get your first box for $1.75!

Value Breakdown: For $3.49 + free shipping, I received a pair of earrings this month with a retail value of $13.99. That’s a discount of about 75%.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

  1. I’m not so sure about the RV on those. Super inflated imo.

  2. How can you tell what’s in each category if the quiz seems to be the same earrings in the first round of the quiz every time. As someone with multiple subscriptions it’s confusing.

  3. Don’t you have an issue with metal allergies or am I mistaken you with another reviewer? Does these cheap earrings bother you?

    • I know Ragan has metal sensitivities so either changes out the hooks for more sensitive skin friendly metals or she covers the part that goes in your ear in clear nail polish. I don’t know if Megan has any allergies to metals but don’t recall her mentioning any in past reviews.

    • Hey Kristin! I am metal sensitive. I can wear non-sterling or gold earrings for a few hours then they just get a little bothersome. I would say that 90% of my earring collection is non-precious though (darn my budget). These fell along those same lines: I wore them for about 5 hours before I took them out.

      • Good to know thanks!
