  1. This was the cut & paste response from Oui please. They didn’t address the 3 separate orders from the Oui please shop that I made that were NOT 40% off. Nor explain why they took my money and didn’t send those items for 3 months. Instead they politely worded it as if my only complaint were not getting the things I chose. I’m very unhappy right now.

    “Bonjour Taren,

Thank you for reaching out to OuiPlease.

I hope you had a nice Holiday. We certainly understand your concern. Please note however we specify on our customization forms please selected « preferred « style however it is not guaranteed. Due to the high volume particularly from the Black Friday 40% off sale, we were not able to accommodate each preference. We did our absolute best to ensure all customers received their boxes in time for the Holidays.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you for your valued business and Happy New Year.”

  2. I received my box today as well, and I am very disappointed as well! They messed up multiple items when I sent in my customizations way in advance! Their copy paste answers are very generic based on the last post or two and it seems like they haven’t solved anything within the last month. Sure they were able to ship the boxes before Christmas on time, thank God, but I highly doubt it will happen again since it’s the holiday season and they want to have a reason to ship the boxes on time for once.

Missing items, incorrect items, delayed shipping, boxes not being sent, I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels the frustration from this company. I’m definitely cancelling my subscription however, I am not looking forward to that process at all, given their poor customer service and lack of attention to absolutely anything at all. Their 2.8 star rating isn’t going to be that high for any longer, by now, this company is just worth 1 star, 2 stars on a good day.

Seriously OP, get it together and bless the poor souls that have subscribed to this box.

  3. Trying to get the word out as much as possible but looks like my comment was flat on the other thread so I’m going to try on this one. The following is my email to Oui please sent off just now:
“I seriously sent my requests in half a dozen times. Literally every single thing is wrong in my box & I could not be more disappointed. Furthermore it did not arrive until just now, that’s right, the day before Christmas Eve! What is the purpose of holiday gifting if all of the parties are over? What is the purpose of taking requests if not a single one is honored? I’ve been begging for that acorn bracelet for years and you show it every single time and you refuse to send it to me no matter what. The purse and scarf I requested are wrong as well.
I made 3 purchases from your Oui shop between September and October and they all just arrived this week. Long past the birthdays that they were intended for. During your better than Black Friday sale I purchased another year ahead of time. I’m so sick right now and I’m out so much money and I want this corrected this time.
No more, “bonjour we are working hard” “Listening to Feedback to make corrections moving forward”, cut and paste answers with no actual solutions. I’m tired of sticking up for you on my subscription addiction only to have this happen!
I want my box fixed or I want my money back.”

    • Sorry to hear that things don’t seem to be improving with OuiPlease. After contacting the Better Business Bureau for a 2nd time, I finally received my promised refund. I was owed a bag from December of last year and that didn’t get resolved until I got the BBB involved. I really liked the contents of the boxes, but eventually decided that it wasn’t worth the hassle. Good luck with getting your issues resolved.

      • Thank you. I was so livid this morning that I cross posted my email because I want everyone to see the hassle. Especially since we prepay for an entire year in advance and I just prepaid again in November $450. Not to mention money spent in their ‘OUI shop’ for items that took 3 months to arrive.

  4. I had a shipping label created back in October but there’s still no movement… is this normal for anyone else? If so, when will the boxes actually start moving? I was hoping to get this before Christmas but now it seems like that won’t even happen, very disappointed

    • Seriously? Wow. That is crazy late even for them. My box that had a shipping label created early October, finally shipped about a month later and I’ve had it for about a month now. Have you reached out to them yet? Try emailing [email protected] to see if you can get at answer. Also, she seems to be monitoring and responding to the more recent MSA thread (the one with 35% off) so maybe comment over there to see if you can get a response. I know they had issues with some items arriving damaged but it shouldn’t have taken this long…even for them. They are apparently shipping the newer boxes now and saying they’re guaranteed to arrive by Christmas, but I will believe it when I see it. So far my label is created but hasn’t moved, and based on if it had shipped today Fed Ex’s estimate was that it would arrive the 23rd, so they’re cutting it super close given that it isn’t in the FedEx system yet. But again, this is the box ~after~ the one you didn’t yet receive. Not sure why your prior box has not shipped–that is really inexcusable and they owe you an explanation.

  5. Here’s the latest on my Oui Shop odyssey. Ashley mentioned the items I ordered from the shop (Bangle Up bracelets) would get to the OP warehouse last Friday, but now it appears they have not arrived yet. I understand that the company imports items from France, and I have no problems with the occasional delays and issues with the subscription box.
However, the website does state that orders from the shop ship in 5 business days. One naturally assumes that Oui Please already has these items in stock, if they are being advertised as available. Evidently that is not the case. In truth, Oui Please opens itself to serious charges of false representation. They should not charge people’s credit cards until after the orders are shipped. This is a recipe for complete business disaster. How many credit card chargebacks and BBB claims are waiting to happen?! Jeez.

    • Bonjour Frankie! We apologize for the delays in shipping your OuiShop order. Thank you for your honest feedback. We truly appreciate our customers’ input, and we will take it into consideration moving forward to help us improve our business. If you have any additional comments or questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected]!

    • Not a surprise that this happened.. I mean read all their reviews, they always charge everyone’s credit cards MONTHS before the boxes are actually shipped. On top of that, some boxes aren’t even shipped and BBB claims and chargebacks are always being filed. This company is a fraud and needs to get it together before they have any more sales.

Whoever is in charge of this company, best of luck, and practice better business practices.

  6. Hey ashley your decreasingly loyal subscribers are tired of the delays, get it together.

    • Bonjour Candace! We are working hard to improve our process to make sure our boxes go out on time in the future! We appreciate your feedback, and if you have any additional questions or comments please reach out to me at [email protected].

  7. Still debating about whether or not I should treat myself with this box but seeing that they are having tons of issues with shipping and responses I think I’m gonna pass on this one. Not worth it.

  8. I wish I could order this as a gift but with their delayed shipping I don’t think I’ll even get this box by February. Guess I’ll give it a few years to see if they improve.

    • Bonjour Pam! We will be shipping all boxes by Dec. 20th to make sure you have them in time for holiday gifting! If you have any questions about shipping or delivery, feel free to email me at [email protected]!

      • Hmm. Shipping by Dec 20 is cutting it pretty close for Christmas arrival! Plus, last time I got an email saying my box had shipped, it didn’t actually ship until more than a month later. So will you actually be SHIPPING by 12/20, or just printing labels that will then ship much later? Kind of seems like you’re promising something you likely can’t fulfill.

Buyer beware on this one, folks…I WOULD NOT count on these items as Christmas presents!!

        • Shipping BY Dec. 20th? Seems like another Christmas tragedy waiting to happen. It’s a shame I wanted to get my coworker this for Christmas but at this rate I wouldn’t be getting it for a while.

          • Don’t do it! Yep I made that mistake once (thinking I could gift items from my OP box for Christmas) and will never make it again. There’s nothing more frantic than rushing around at the last minute trying to find a holiday gift when the box you were promised would be there on time, isn’t. Sadly, Oui Please just isn’t reliable and I’ve been lied to on multiple occasions regarding status of my boxes and orders.

          • @AP

I just read through all the other reviews and comments. Safe to say that OP does not deliver what they promise. I think I will skip out on being lied to and the frustration of this company this holiday season. Thank you for the heads up! Will NOT be subscribing.

  9. So glad there are other people that feel the same way about this company, too many shipping delays and not worth the money.

    • Bonjour A! We apologize for the delays in shipping. We are a small company experiencing rapid growth, so we’ve experienced some growing pains along the way. We’re working hard to optimize our importing and shipping process to avoid delays in the future. We truly appreciate your feedback, and we are taking it into consideration as we move forward. If you have any other comments or questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected]!

  10. Thank goodness I saw this before I bought the annual subscription, seemed like a really nice box but after reading a couple of comments on the other posts it seems like everyone is having the same issue with their poor service.

    • They do ship just not on time, this sub requires patience for sure. The boxes are lovely.

      • Merci for your patience Kristin! We are working hard to improve our process to make sure our boxes go out on time in the future! We’re glad you’re enjoying your box!

  11. Ohhhh…..I bought the year last night!

  12. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Shipping is constantly delayed for not days but for MONTHS. I would not recommend subscribing to them unless you want to wait 3-5 months and deal with their horrible service

    • Bonjour Denise! We apologize for the delays in shipping. Unfortunately, when importing products there are sometimes factors beyond our control (like customs holding products), but I assure you we are working hard to improve our importing and shipping processes to prevent future issues. We appreciate your feedback, and if you have any additional questions or comments please reach out to me at [email protected].

  13. Buyer beware with this one. I was supposed to receive a refund for my unshipped boxes 3 weeks ago and still have not received it after filing a Better Business Bureau complaint. Their boxes are nice, IF you ever receive them.

    • Are you on Instagram? If so I’d message them on there, which usually gets a response. If it doesn’t get a response then I’d go with a public comment. That’s just unacceptable!

    • Bonjour V! I’ve spoken with our customer service team, and you should have received your refund. We apologize for the delays, and we are working to improve our shipping process moving forward. If you have any additional questions or comments, please feel free to email me at [email protected]
