  1. This is by far my favorite box. I adore the curation and unique, high quality items. I have subbed for years and in my experience, Customer Service (Ashley) has always been excellent. They do experience shipping delays, but to me it’s worth the wait.


    It is so tempting because these boxes contain great items, but they cannot handle the servicing, shipping, and sending of these boxes. Items are left out consistently, shipping delays mean you receive a box (if you’re lucky!) 2 months after it was supposed to be shipped, missing items are not replaced, customer service (although extremely pleasant) does not follow through on what they promise.

    I don’t believe that this box is a scam, but I do believe that they are unable to provide the service they advertise. Please read comments on MSA in other spoiler announcements etc. for this box. You will not receive a winter box anywhere close to the holidays, and the fall boxes still haven’t been shipped in many cases. You will be charged upon order and wait months to receive a box that has missing items. If the money or time or getting items as advertised is no object to you, then it might be worth it.

    • I don’t think most people have that many issues, it’s just that people who have issues are more likely to leave a comment.
      I’ve received 17 boxes so far (I skipped year two) and although the shipping is terribly slow, I’ve never not received one and I’ve never had a missing item. Only once did I have an issue. A tile arrived broken and they replaced the product within days.

      I’ve subbed to a lot of boxes over the years, as many as 15 at a time. I’ve canceled most and now get three, and the occasional one-off. This is one of the ones I keep because it’s not a bunch of stuff I’ll never use, it has a great variety, and the items are (usually) quality. I can live with a few filler items if one or two more than cover the cost of the box. The delay in shipping is irritating, but it actually saves me money by re-upping every 18 months or so rather than every 12.

      • I think the issue is the lack of good consumer service. I don’t think the percentage is an issue. Even if it’s 1% that have unresolved issues. Quality companies will see that problems are fixed. Customers have a right to be upset when they don’t get what they paid for.

Now that we are shipping more boxes than ever, all our boxes are sent via FedEx priority, and OuiShop orders are sent via through USPS first class mail and will arrive to you in 2-3 days.   4. Has anyone had success using Afterpay? I have an account with them so I know how to use it but it doesn’t seem to be working on the Oui Please site. Every time I try to pay with Afterpay I get a sorry something went wrong message.

  6. Do you think there will be a 45% off for black friday? Last year that’s what it was.

    • I only remember it going to 40% off last year……

    • I wondered the same thing, but went ahead resubbed anyway.
      Last year it was 45% off a week before Thanksgiving through Black Friday. Unless they have a better than Black Friday deal through MSA, I don’t think it’ll drop.
      40% -45% is less than a $5.50 difference per box, so I’m not going to worry about it. Last time I paid with a 30 or 35% discount so I’m happy with 40% off.

      • I’ve looked at all their past Black Friday sales since 2016 and there was only one year it was 45% off, the other years were 40% so I’m confident it’s the lowest it’ll go.
