  1. I have been a long time subscriber to Oui Please, through some of the shadier issues a few years ago. But I have to say they have really improved. Ashley has always been incredibly helpful and responsive. While it may seem like Oui Please has poor business sense due to the delays, etc, I think we also have to understand that some things are out of their hands. I was in Paris this summer and saw many of the same items we get in our boxes, so they are being imported from France. Having also dealt with customs, I know they can be unreasonable. I had chocolates seized that I had just spent a week crafting at Valrhona. No reason why, they just did. I was devastated. I am sure that Oui Please would prefer to have the tea for our boxes, but customs had other ideas. It sucks, but really, first world problems.

    Natlovesmelody, I also miss the forum. Such a great group that had to be ruined by a few, but I made friends through it who I have met up with, but it definitely left a huge hole. I wish more than anything MSA would reinstate it.

    Not a fan at all of the scarves, or the bag choices, but it’s just not my style. This past box was pretty epic and hard to live up to, but I have no doubt that the next boxes will be amazing.

  2. For those of you who have been subscribing are they actually sending 6 boxes a year now? I previously subscribed and was happy to get out alive. Still I agree it is tempting especially with better than black friday coming up. Always thought they should go to quarterly and try to improve delivery.

    • We should be getting about 5 boxes this year, assuming December actually ships in December! They basically skipped August completely, but everything else has been close to schedule.

    • More like 4 due to shipping delays so an annual comes w 6 boxes and takes about 1.25-1.5 years

      • I have already received 4 boxes this calendar year including the last 4.5 box with the 1951. If I do receive the 4.6 box on time in December, then I will have received a total of 5 boxes in the 2019 calendar year.

  4. Does anyone know the bracelet options? I’m tempted, but I’ve been burned by OP before.

    • Jackie, I see these options for the bracelets: grenadine, blue flower, diamante crystal, diamante plum, green flower, diamante grenadine, bird (looks like a hummingbird) and acorn. Hope that helps 😀

    • Other than what’s listed here for bracelets, you get to choose between a “blue flower” (lots of blue petals and a yellow center), a “green flower” (two small charms), and an one with “ruby” red stone. I’m choosing the pomegranate, but the green flower was my second choice.

      You also have a choice between two styles of bags with multiple color options. I don’t care for either of the bags. And as mentioned, you choose a scarf color.

        • The brand is rive droite Paris. Hermel toiletry bag or Barbette pouch are the styles. They’re both different styles of canvas. You can see them on the Ouiplease web site along with other spoilers. They’re already showing the “Nov-Dec” box items.

  5. Hello Everyone,
    I have had communication with Ashley about the delay. She has always been superb in customer service.
    The delay was due to damage of one of the items and the replacement has been received and the process of shipping should begin again soon. There are times that are beyond planning and control whether it be damaged goods or items held up at Customs.
    This has always been my favorite subscription box and has led to new discoveries and many of my personal UNICORNS.

    • While I totally agree they’re doing the best they can, this is a repeat problem. At some point their processes— inventory sourcing, shipping, workforce capacity— have to improve. Ashley’s always been very courteous and communicative but they’re a business and as a consumer you just have to wonder if the operational process will ever improve? Like I said below, love the contents don’t always love the delays.

    • I am so frustrated that I haven’t received my last box! I agree Ashley has been wonderful but at some point you have to wonder if this company is unscrupulous. This is not a short delay – nearing almost 2 weeks past when it was supposed to be sent.

    • Better than black fri makes the annual worth it to me, even though the shipping and lack of communication is frustrating. I do like the boxes once they do arrive.

  8. sigh. this is a great box, if you’re ok with unpredictable timeline for delivery.

    My “september” box has yet to be delivered. Received a tracking on Oct 08, but no movement on the actual shipment itself. When reached out to customer service, received a generic answer on “high volumes” with no concrete ETA.

    I paid ahead for an annual subscription– i don’t recommend this. My last two boxes were late and I think that they prioritize annual subscribers LAST (because they already have your money) in the shipment process. That said, i do always enjoy the items. So— subscribe if you’re ok with unpredictable shipping and don’t paid ahead for the annual subscription.

    • At least you received tracking for yours, I haven’t even gotten that yet. They emailed me to confirm my bag color, so I know they will be shipping, but it is frustrating for sure.

      • I got a shipping notice on October 5th, but they never confirmed my choices. Mind you, the shipping notice didn’t mean it shipped. Still waiting. “Ashley” told me that there were so many orders that shipping is just taking longer than normal.

The order in which boxes are shipped depends on the customizations and when they were submitted. To streamline this complicated customization process, we print all of our shipping labels in advance and ship the boxes in batches, so that’s why your tracking might not show movement immediately. As mentioned by others above, the shipment of some batches has been delayed due to products that arrived damaged. However, their replacements have arrived and the rest of the boxes will be shipped ASAP! Thank you for your patience and your feedback. We’re doing our best to grow as a company and prevent these delays in the future.

  10. Against my better judgment, I purchased this box and submitted my customization choices: yellow scarf, blue/indigo pouch and blue flower bracelet.

    • Cindy, Where are you finding where to customize?

      • I’ve looked everywhere-my account, emails sent. I don’t see it either.

      • When you sign in there is a bar at the top, click on that.

      • Hi Mindy! I purchased this on October 17th but customization wasn’t available yet. I kept checking and at some last weekend, the customization options showed up when I logged in, went up my account and clicked on the message on the top of the page that said “Complete your women’s style profile here,” or something like that. I never got an email or notification- just kept checking because I have OCD tendencies that make me anxious when I can’t complete something 😝 Then I got a confirmation message on the screen, but it doesn’t show anything in your account or email you (which again makes my OCD nature perk up but I am surviving 😇) Hope that helps!!
