LiveGlam MorpheMe Brush Club October 2019 Review

LiveGlam MorpheMe September 2019 review

The theme this month is “Feeling Gourd-geous” and I received 3 brushes. All three are rather large!

Let’s take a peek, shall we?

E51 Deluxe Angled Powder/Contour Brush (Synthetic) – Retail Value $17.00

Wow, this brush is huge! This is absolutely the largest and fluffiest one I have ever received from this sub and I am so here for it. I love giant powder brushes because I have a big face and I wear loads of powder. The E51 is perfect for loose as well as pan powders and it grabs just the right amount. I like the angled side because it allows me to get close to my eyes without also powdering my contact lenses.

E60 Deluxe Highlight Fan Brush (Synthetic) – Retail Value $8.00

This is the larger version of my beloved E40 (who I refer to as Lil Baby Girl out of love). I use the smaller version for highlighter, even though it is technically a lash brush. This is the giant version and I found it works beautifully for an all-over light dusting of highlighter to give my skin a glow without being super shiny or reflective.

E16 Pro Angled Contour Brush (Synthetic) – Retail Value $8.00

Our last brush is a large angled contour brush. I don’t contour my face but I thought I would give it a try with this brush for the sake of this review. When paired with my trusty tarte Tartiest Pro Glow To Go mini palette I did manage to do a very amateur version of a “snatched” nose. This is a truly precision brush, so the contour powder goes exactly where you put it, which is pretty awesome, though I did need to blend, blend, blend after with a fluffier brush so I didn’t look like I had a line on my face.

Verdict: MorpheMe Monthly Brush Club has three brushes this month, and wow were they big! I am swooning over the giant powder brush. I love it and I have never owned an angled one before! The big fan is a close second and I love the softness it gives my all-over highlighter. I may not use the large-angle contour often, but it is still a great brush and I know others out there with more contouring experience might just love it. Overall, this month has a retail value of $33, which is $13 more than the $20 subscription cost.

        To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! You’ll receive the October brushes if you sign up by October 22nd.

Value Breakdown: At $19.99 + free shipping for this box, each of our 3 brushes has an average cost of $6.66.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
