  1. I’m so tempted to purchase this month’s box! I think this is their best one yet 🙂

    • Everything looks so luxurious and exclusive!

      • Oh, I know! And I love how they stuck to their Feeling Blue theme. 🙂

      • It is quite nice, and definitely in keeping with my conversion goals. But $58 for an 8oz. body wash? Does it cleanse away your cellulite? Gently but thoroughly remove your body hair? I enjoy luxe products, especially at these prices but that’s more than a little unrealistic for most people to purchase no matter how much they love it. I’m not saying I wouldn’t like to try it while fantasizing that money is of no importance. 😄
I’m just wondering how much of a return that company thinks it will get on this investment.

I like nearly all the spoilers for this box every month. But with it being among the pricier subs on top of the shipping charges I just can’t bring myself to pull the trigger.
For those that do get this box, I really hope they all let us all know exactly how special that body wash is! 😉

Are you subscribed to this one, Luna?

      • Hey Dani 🙂
LOL! I’m sure your questions were rhetorical, but I’ll still say that I’ll never know what makes companies price their products at what they do. lol

No, I’m actually not subbed right now. I did sub for 3-months with a 20% discount they had earlier this year, and I really did like it, but like you… there’s just something that has always made me not want to sub at full-price. I keep trying to place to my finger on it, but then I think my reasoning appears illogical, so I guess I really don’t know why. lol However, I would consider re-subbing next year for 3 months with another discount. Also, I really loved their mystery boxes they did this Summer, so I may just hold out to see if they do those again. However, if I do see a box like this one that appeals to me I may purchase it as a one-time box. I just haven’t decided if I want to do it now (even at full price, it’s still worth it to me) or hold off due to the approaching holidays and hope it’s still available next year. The thing that’s also making me hold back from pouncing on it is that I think I may already have those Bluh Alchemy & Ursa Major products. Also, I’m wondering if that body wash is the same one that was in a Beauty Heroes box a while back. While I saw only rave reviews on the product itself, everybody had the same complaint that it was really hard to get it out of the bottle because the wash was so thick. Hmmm, I think I just talked myself into waiting until next year to see if they have a sale on their past boxes. 😉

    • Me too! Have you received your Indie beauty box yet? What did you get and how are you liking your products?

    • I caved after seeing these spoilers and picked up two mini mystery and last months box as well since I LOVE everything wabi sabi botanicals. I received this mist in another box and the smell is amazing. I believe it was beauty heroes. I received this serum in a clean beauty box two years and it was wonderful as well.

      • Oh! I think you may have answered my rambling thought on whether I may already have the Bluh Alchemy & Ursa Major products! I do! lol But now that you mention that the Ursa Major came in a box from two years ago, I’m definitely going to pull it out of my stash this weekend and put it at the front of the queue to use next after I finish up what I’m currently using. Dang… where does the time go!?? lol That’s so cool too that their mini mystery boxes are still available. I really loved the mystery box I got, and I really hope they do them again next year. 🙂

      • What kind of things are in the mystery box?

      • I received a few of their mystery boxes and everything except 1 item was in their past boxes that haven’t sold out

      • You can see past boxes which haven’t sold out on their website

      • Did you like what you got, Nat?

      • I didn’t love everything. I think the biggest box had 15 items if I remember correctly. Overall I am happy with it

      • Thanks so much Luna! Looking at the comments, I almost wish I had bought 2 mystery boxes instead of 1.
Looking forward to the surprise of the mystery box as well as the October treats!

      • Got my mystery box! It’s hands down the best one I’ve ever received lol

      • Hey Amy! What did you get in your mystery box?

      • Brooke,

Bought the mini on Friday and got it on Tuesday! It’s perfect and will use everything (though I might gift the floral bath but only because they would like it better than me). I calculated a total value of $171, though I honestly wouldn’t have cared if it was short because I’m excited for everything!
        Lather body wash $22
        Sarisha flower bath $22
        Sarisha deep cleansing mask $35
        Terrene Orchid Dew $35
        LXMI Creme du nil $58

      • Hey Luna,
I read and enjoy a lot of your comments and useful info on this site and I always wonder how you manage to use so many products before they expire! I probably have less than half you got and get stressed about using it all up in time. Do you actually go through entire bottles/tubes/jars? Would love to see pics of your vanity!

      • Hey there! 🙂

Well like anybody, I will have a few casualties I have to declutter 😉 , although they are very few & far between (like maybe only 5 samples per year… and most of those declutters weren’t due to spoilage but rather because they leaked or somehow evaporated out of its container which always leaves me thinking… “how!?!?” lol), but for the most part somehow I manage. 🙂

I do use up all of whatever I’m using, even if I’m just feeling “meh” about it since I don’t want to waste it. I always only focus on one product at a time, and even though I never try to rush through my products, somehow by sticking to only one item it seems like I do go through products faster. I don’t always keep everything I receive either. I always gift any duplicates of a full size item I receive, but I usually do keep duplicate samples.

Also, beauty products last a surprisingly long time if unopened and stored properly… even most green beauty products have a shelf life of at least two years… of course depending on their ingredients, but it’s rare when I’ve felt the need to use something right away in fear it may expire soon after receiving it. I’m also not hard pressed to follow expiration dates. If I happen to come across a product that has an expiration date explicitly stated on it and it has passed I’ll still use it if it looks & feels fine, which in most circumstances is the case.

Using my products has always been a fun thing for me, and I don’t take it too seriously, so I never stress about what I should use when. If ever I get to the point where I feel like I’m being wasteful with this fun hobby of mine, or I start to feel stress from it, then I’ll just stop indulging in it cold turkey which I know I can do if it means eliminating stress from my life. 🙂 But in the meantime, I have slowed my roll quite a bit compared to prior years, and I am far more selective in what I bring into my arsenal. I could do better, but I’m still happy with how I’m managing it, and I already know I’ll be even better next year since I don’t plan on being consistently subbed to all the boxes I was this year, but rather for the most part play the resub-based-on-spoilers game. 🙂

      • Hey Luna,
The fact that you took so much time to write a reply to me shows you are such a sweet person and really passionate about your hobby! LOL.

      • Awww, thanks Bindi 🙂 Ya, I may be a little TOO passionate. 😉

    • Thanks for the LOVE Luna!
