Bespoke Post "Gather" Review

This month Bespoke Post sent a short pamphlet featuring their clothing and lifestyle brand, Line of Trade, as well as a 25% off coupon code.

Bespoke Post comes with a nice info card with a photo on the front and all the info you need about the items on the back.

As soon as I saw this set offered for October, I knew I had to have it. I've been trying to bulk up my camping gear and this is perfect for my aesthetic of keeping it classy while functional. The set of six comes all together in a box that is packed well to keep anything from getting too banged up. Let me take you through each piece...

Barebones Living Enamel Deep Plate Set, 2 ct - Retail Value $18.00

First things first is this set of two plates. Made of stainless steel and enamel, they have a gorgeous cool grey coating with a unique metallic patina edge that will change over time. For now- they have an almost rose gold/copper finish to them that I think looks stunning. They have a good weight to them without being too heavy and are durable to stand clanging around in a pack on the way to the outdoors. Each one is 11 inches in diameter and has a depth of 1 inch which means the food won't slide off the raised edge of the plate. Super excited to get to use these soon!

Barebones Living Enamel Bowl Set, 2 ct - Retail Value $16.00

Next, we have a set of two matched bowls which should also get quite a bit of use amongst the trees. I can see morning oatmeal, hardy soup, or even just some cereal being plentiful in these 6.3-inch diameter and 2.17-inch depth bowls. They contain the same steel base with enamel coating as the plates and all of the items are dishwasher-safe. Sadly for me, I don't have a dishwasher so I'll be handwashing them anyhow (especially while at a campsite). Of course, since they're metal, these can't go in a microwave which is fine by me since I don't have one.

Barebones Living Enamel Cup Set, 2 ct - Retail Value $15.00

Lastly for the enamelware are two matching mugs to complete the set. I used this mug for an extra cup of morning coffee the other day and it held quite a bit, 14 ounces to be exact. My only notes on these cups are that they don't insulate the warmth so it can be quite hot to the touch which may be preferred on a chilly night, actually. I also noticed that the coffee left a bit of a stain behind, but the info card did mention that certain foods can discolor the finish. I think it just adds to the character and vintage look.

Fredericks and Mae Hanging Citronella Coil, small - Retail Value $18.00

I clearly have a thing with choosing Bepoke Post boxes with incense in them. What can I say? Here, they've included the small version of citronella coil from Fredericks and Mae which is undoubtedly cool in my book. I've never used one like this but it looks sweet hanging from my front porch and will keep any insects still around at bay. This incense coil has a whopping 36-hour burning time and can be stopped and restarted as many times as needed. Perfect for backyard BBQs, candlelit porch dinners, or camping.

Verdict: The "Gather" box from Bespoke Post really impressed me and I'm really happy with my choice! I received a beautiful 6-piece set of enamel tableware that I can use in my backyard or the woods all the same while looking design-forward in my preferred grey tone. This box has a retail value of $67.00 which is $12 over the cost to purchase. While this isn't as huge of a value of some other boxes, I look at Bespoke Post as a fun way to treat yourself each month. If you have $45 to spare, I find they always have great choices each month and the items are always high quality. This one happens to be the perfect set to jumpstart my camping kitchen.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, this box is still available!

Value Breakdown: This $45.00 box has a value of $67.00. Here's what you're paying for each item:

  • Plates: $12.09
  • Bowls: $10.75
  • Cups: $10.07
  • Citronella Coil: $12.09
