      Energizing Foaming Exfoliant, 15 ml – Estimated Value $9.90 (Buy a full-size 200 ml version for $132.00)

This scrub feels really refreshing on my skin. Sometimes exfoliants can leave skin feeling more scratched and sensitive but I didn’t find that to be the case with this formula. The little scrubbies felt more rounded in shape and I could scrub as firmly as I wanted without any discomfort. My skin felt refreshed and so smooth after rinsing and I liked the foaming action too!

Restorative Hydrating Body Care, 15 ml – Estimated Value $12.90 (Buy a full-size 200 ml version for $172.00)

This is a nicely sized tube that would be a perfect addition to your purse. With cold weather approaching, I like to have little tubes of high-quality cream stashed everywhere to save my dry skin. Like all Sisley products, this stuff feels like pure luxury, and a little goes a long way. A grease-free finish is an added bonus, along with soft, supple skin.

Concentrated Firming Body Cream, 8 ml – Estimated Value $21.07 (Buy a full-size 150 ml version for $395.00)

Have you ever tried a $400 body cream? Me neither! As usual, this stuff had like the world’s best scent. I am talking about that classic Sisley herbal/floral magic. Delicious. It also felt incredible going on and left my skin looking flawless and so healthy. Would I ever splurge and buy the full size? Absolutely not! But you bet I will be using this sparingly to make it last as long as possible!

            Phyto-Buste + Décolleté, 8 ml – Estimated Value $45.60 (Buy a full-size 50 ml for $285.00)

I did the calculation of the estimated value of this foil a few times because it seemed insane. But each time I kept getting the same number. Wow. It also comes with quite the specific set of instructions:

Apply twice a day for a two-month intensive skin care program and once a day as part of a beauty maintenance routine using the recommended application technique. 1st step : “Cross my heart” application. With the right hand flat, begin from the left shoulder, descending through the décolleté between the breasts, then go around the right breast in a figure 8 movement passing under the other breast. Glide back up the décolleté to the right shoulder. Repeat the same technique with the left hand, beginning from the right shoulder. 2nd step : Smooth Phytobuste + décolleté up between the breasts toward the shoulders with the palm of the hand. 3rd step : Pat to finish with hand flat on the bust and décolleté. Precaution for use: Do not use while breastfeeding.

That is a little much for me. And, thankfully, I don’t really have firmness issues on my neck or bust, though I am sure they are inevitable with time. Although I tried the instructions above (and felt ridiculous) I think the best plan of action is just to apply it like normal lotions, focusing specifically on my neck and décolleté. Did I notice anything groundbreaking? No. But my skin did look radiant, even, and well hydrated.

              Anti-Age Hand Care, 4 ml – Estimated Value $8.27 (Buy a full size 75 ml for $155.00)

I love a good hand cream. I am really inconsistent about body creams and lotions, but I try to always keep my hands hydrated. My Nana always said “hands age fast”, and so I think it has been a source of misplaced paranoia for me for a long time. My hands are fine. But I still enjoy treating them to something special, and this feels very special. This cream is thicker and absorbs easily, leaving behind this dreamy velvet texture on my skin. Though this tube is on the smaller side, a little does go a long way.

                Velvet Sleeping Mask, 4 ml – Estimated Value $9.33 (Buy a full-size 60 ml for $140.00)

This item wasn’t mentioned in our info booklet, but it appears to be a new Sisley offering! I love, love, LOVE a sleep mask. I always sleep with a heavy duty cream at night but in the winter I always need even more since I get so dry. This mask has a thicker, heavy texture but doesn’t feel heavy on my face. There is enough in this foil for probably 3-4 uses if I am careful. After sleeping in this for one night, my skin felt incredible and looked great too. If you want a mask that gave me similar results, but costs A LOT less, give Origins Drink Up a try. The ingredients aren’t as fancy, but the results are still great!

Verdict: Sisley had a value of around $107.07 for this box. (Keep in mind I come to this estimation based on the full-size values.) While that number might seem crazy for smaller samples and foils, Sisley is a wildly expensive brand! I generally would prefer more facial care formulas, but it was still nice to see what sort of more body-focused products this brand offers and also to get to try their brand new sleep mask. Though most of these items are way beyond accessible for my everyday life, this box always feels like a total treat every month, small sizes or not.

                1. If anyone is interested in throwing away $400 but doesn’t want the body cream, I’m happy to help! That will cover over half of a month’s rent…

                  • Seriously! There are people who would think they had died and gone to heaven if they had 400.00 to blow on body cream. This type of blatant gluttony is so sad.

                2. I already got my September box! Excited to try everything

                  • I just got both of my boxes today! That makes up for still not having received my 2nd August box yet 😀 I *think* it’s on its way back from NJ after having come to my neck of the woods in the PNW from Connecticut. lol!!!

                    • Glad you got the 2 boxes at least Luna! Hope the one taking a vacation arrives soon.

                3. I used the body cream today before seeing how much it was worth. I slathered it all over my legs and arms. It is divine but there’s no way I can justify that price!

                4. I’m still waiting for my 2nd August box. Sisley gave me tracking, and I saw it was sitting at the post office in my city, but then a couple days later it was on it’s way to New Jersey! Lol I’m going to keep tracking it to see where it ends up (I’m dying to know now!).
