Menlo Club is a monthly men’s clothing subscription service. You take a brief survey when you sign up (style, fit, and size preferences) and they send a curated package of Five Four contemporary wear, Grand AC athletic wear, and New Republic accessories. On average, you receive two items per month and every month is different. Plus, receive easy size exchanges, free shipping, and pause or cancel anytime.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Menlo Club "Finding Time for Yourself" Review

You can check out the package preview video for July's collection on Menlo House's YouTube. This is a great way to get a peek at what each style profile (Classic, Casual, Forward, or Mix) will be receiving each month. Hint... you can update your profile if you want different items.

I've recruited John to help model and review this box. Menlo Club included an outfit from Grand AC this month for each style profile. John is set up to receive "Mix." Let's check it out!

Each month, John receives an invoice of his items.

This month, Menlo Club included a sample of Liquid I.V.'s Hydration Multiplier. This is a non-GMO electrolyte drink mix that helps to increase your hydration and recover faster. John says the Lemon Lime flavor tastes like watered-down lemonade but that it was good.

Lorenzo Tee in Heather Gray, L

This is such a great tee for lounging, working out, or even to throw on with jeans. The 100% French terry-backed cotton is soft, plush, and thick enough to hold its shape. You can see the backing on the sleeve we rolled up. I like the length of Grand AC's tee; they're long and prevent any midriff exposure while running or moving around.

Paulo Classic Fit Short in Navy, L

These shorts feel just as wonderful as the tee. They have the same French terry interior and thick, plush feel. There's a wide, flat elastic waistband and drawstring to keep them in place and 3 pockets – one on each hip and one on the back – so John can store all of his things. He likes that the branding on Grand AC's items is subtle and often the same color as the fabric. Just like the tee, these shorts are nice enough to go out in (casually), lounge in, or workout in.

Franko Slides in Charcoal, 10

John isn't a big fan of slides and he'd never wear them out. That said, he has found a lot of use for them around the house. He likes that these are quick to slide on when he takes our pup out or when he needs to go to his car. He also thinks they would be great shower shoes for the gym. They're lightweight and have some grip on the bottom, plus they dry fast.

Ricci Hat in Black, OS

This hat may end up being mine soon because John isn't a big fan of the way it fits. He's very particular about hats and he thinks it looks too small for his head with too big a bill. But, with the ripstop canvas cotton and mesh back I think it would make a perfect hat for me to wear while running. The best part is the bungee pull cord in the back which is perfect for sticking my ponytail through.

And here's the outfit all together.

Verdict: The pieces included in this month's Menlo Club package are so versatile. John likes that they're comfortable enough for lounging, lightweight enough for exercising, and look nice enough to wear when he's out and about on his days off. The quality of the fabrics and construction is great and I think the value is fitting for the price of the subscription.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? All items are based on your style profile. Check out what's included for the different styles on the Menlo House blog.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $60 + free shipping, which means that each of the 4 items in the box has an average cost of $15.
