How Menlo Club Works

  1. Take a style quiz about your style preferences and sizing that informs your personal curated style profile.
  2. Join the Club: You’ll have the option to join the club. There is currently only one subscription option which is $60/month. You will receive 2 to 3 pieces of curated apparel from the Menlo Clubs’ family of brands.
  3. Your box arrives! Packages are usually shipped within 7-10 days after the charge date. Depending on where you are located, packages can arrive between 2-5 days after the shipping date. The first month’s membership fee is charged right after clicking Submit Order on the Secure Checkout page. For each subsequent month, Members are charged on the 15th of the month.

There is currently only one subscription option. Club members are charged $60 a month, plus any applicable taxes and surcharges based on their location.


Shipping: Shipping is free for all members within the contiguous United States. There is a $7 surcharge for shipping to Members in Alaska or Hawaii. There is a $25 surcharge for Members based in Canada and a $30 surcharge for Members in the UK. These surcharges do not include any applicable duties or tariffs levied in Canada or the UK that Members may also be held responsible for.

Menlo Club VS Trunk Club: Both subscriptions let you create an online profile through a quiz, while Trunk Club gives you access to a stylist of your own. With Trunk Club, you are shipped clothing, and you can decide what you want to keep. Both subscriptions focus on everyday essentials, with Trunk Club running from $25 to $300. Nordstrom powers Trunk Club to have access to higher-end apparel; a $25 styling fee with Trunk Club is applied automatically toward any item you keep, which could potentially add up.


Menlo Club VS ThreadLab: Both subscriptions use similar quizzes to help get an idea of your style preferences. They both also specialize in similar lines of basic, casual, and contemporary styles. Threadlabds subscriptions are considerably more, with subscriptions starting at $99 per month for the Starter Kit, $149 for The Essentials Kit, and $499 for the Full Kit. However, you can preview and edit your order with ThreadLab before it ships and can return items at any time.


Menlo Club VS Frank and Oak: Both subscriptions offer contemporary styles through questionnaires to curate your monthly selection. Frank and Oak does not have a flat monthly subscription fee like Menlo Club. Frank and Oak items can range in price from $29 to $149. You have the option to keep what you like, return what you don’t. A $25 styling fee is applied to all total returns, however.

What do Menlo Club members receive?
Over the course of 12 months, members will receive New Republic footwear in two designated months, Grand AC athleisure wear in another two months, and Five Four contemporary wear in the remaining eight months. Depending on the month, a typical package will include two to three items.
What does the monthly subscription include?
Monthly subscribers receive curated monthly packages, plus members will receive up to 25% off items in the Menlo House E-Commerce store, as well as free shipping on all orders and access to exclusive member-only items.
How do members cancel, and when can they?
Members can call in at (888) 341-2381 Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM PST and 5:00 PM PST, or they can use Live Chat to update their member status between 8:00 AM PST and 5:00 PM PST. Menlo Club states that they can only process a cancellation once a member has spoken to a customer service representative. Members can cancel at any time, however to avoid being charged for the following month, cancellations must occur before the 14th of the month. All charges prior to cancellation will be fulfilled and follow normal refund policies.
Can members skip a month?
Members can pause their membership for up to three months at a time by either reaching out to our Membership Experience team by email, telephone at 888.341.2381, or Live Chat. Select members have exclusive access to activating the Pause feature online on their Account Settings. You must pause your membership on or before the 14th day of each month in order to not be charged for that month.
What are the refund and exchange policies?
You may exchange items due to size-related issues within 30 days of receiving them. Please contact Menlo Club support at [email protected] or through their Live Chat and they will provide you with a Size Exchange Request Form. All items must be received in unworn condition, with no stains, tears, or visible signs of use or they will not be accepted. Customers located outside of the contiguous United States are responsible for shipping charges incurred when sending the item for exchange back to our warehouse. Menlo Club will cover the shipping on the way back to you. Unfortunately, they do not allow refunds except for damaged goods. How do I track my package?
Once your package has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can also log on to your account and access this information in your member dashboard.
Who can shop at the E-Commerce store?
The Menlo House E-commerce store is open for anyone to shop. Some items are only available to Menlo Club members and can only be purchased if you become a Menlo Club member. Menlo Club Members will automatically receive up to 25% off every item in the store. The discount is available immediately after enrollment.

Can't beat the price... the quality of the clothes is comparable to a Banana Republic but more affordable. Also love the variety you get since my style changes constantly. Seriously, can't think of a better service to help guys look good.

After reading some reviews on Menlo Club, I was skeptical. I ended up signing up when one of my friends told me he's a member and loves the clothes. I gave it a shot. I figured, I hate shopping but definitely have an outdated wardrobe so why not? Well... Definitely one of the better decisions I've made. The packages are great, come right to my door (literally), AND what people don't mention is that as a Club member, you also get an AUTOMATIC 25% Off on the Menlo House (which is their retail store for single products). Between the items and the discount, the membership is absolutely worth it.

After attempting a multitude of options including personal shoppers, trunk clubs, and more, I found Menlo Club. I knew them as Five Four, but it seems with the new branding came a revitalized product. I just signed up and got my first box. I love the fact that I got a shirt, shorts, and belt. For someone who is out of touch with fashion, the prescribed look saved me time and effort. Look forward to next month!

After previously using other boxes I was subscribed to the Menlo Club with hesitations, however, after the rebrand and new brands introduced to the package I couldn't be more excited. I love my packages and I really think the new concept of multiple brands is a great feature. Just got my new shoes and Grand AC clothes, LOVE THEM BOTH!

Very underwhelming. Clothes were of Target quality or so. Selected the Classic option hoping I would get a button-down and got a pair of jeans and a Henley. Seems pretty casual to me. Their jeans also have a standardized inseam which is a big pain. I'm not averse to rolling the cuffs but the inseam was so long they looked a little ridiculous. Jeans were also very thin and cheap feeling. Were the inseam not so long I would wear them, the wash is nice. I doubt they would hold up though. Alas, I'm getting the impression these style curating subscription services are a dart through and there is not someone there actually looking at your profile. I had a similar issue with Trendy Butler. For $20 (with the coupon code), it didn't break my heart and I'm not too terribly bummed for taking a shot, but this definitely isn't worth $60 a month. Shocker, it's way easier to just buy the clothes you want from the vendors you prefer.

Clothes are ok. What’s terrible is the fact that they don’t deliver. They charged my account for a December box, didn’t get it until mid January and they charged me for a January box that I STILL haven’t received either. Zero communication and zero customer support to figure out what is going on. As a customer, this is a terrible experience and I cancelled my subscription for February until they figure out their logistics and they don’t charge me for a third month with false promises.

I ordered my box Dec 5 and got an email that it was shipped. When i tracked it the package wasnt moving or being updated. I chatted with someone who told me that the package hadn't even been shipped (dec 23!!!!) and that it was still in the warehouse. They said that I would get an email as soon as it was shipped, so today I got an email and it was exactly like the Dec 5 email. Package still not moving. It was a christmas present. I am very disappoint and a little nervous if this company is even Legit. I will wait, but I definately will give this subscription a low rating.

My fiance would love these items because its his,style and he needs a wardrobe update but hasn't subscribed to a box subscription and wish he could try it out and see how much he likes it so I can get the subscription for him and he can enjoy subscription boxes like I do which would be fun to share together.

WORST BOX EVER, most clothes came late and almost always in the wrong size, terrible consumer service, some clothes even came ripped and they refused to exchange it. the clothes that did come on time and in the right size were really weird outfits no normal person would wear too. Honestly one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, very disappointed.
