Tony Moly July 2019 box 1

TONYMOLY is a popular K-Beauty brand known for their fun packaging and affordable products.

Along with being found in stores like Ulta and Macy's, plus K-beauty subscription boxes, they recently started offering a monthly bundle of products at a discount!

This is a review of the July Monthly Bundle, which is now sold out. However, the August Bundle is currently available!

TONYMOLY July 2019 Monthly Bundle Review

Tony Moly July 2019 samples

This box doesn't come with an info sheet, but just like last month, I received some pretty adorable samples.

Tony Moly July 2019 lotus

I’m Lotus Sheet Mask – Estimated Value $3.75 (Buy two for $6.00)

I will never turn down a good sheet mask, and this line from TONYMOLY included some of the first masks I ever tried! This is a little basic, but it gets the job done in terms of a little self-care. The Lotus version of this mask helps with brightening skin, and I had no issues with sensitivity while wearing it.

Tony Moly July 2019 master lab

Master Lab Hyaluronic Sheet Mask- Estimated Value $4.50 (Buy two for $9)

I don't love that the Master Lab masks from TONYMOLY all have alcohol on the ingredients list, but this is still a hydrating mask that my skin soaks up.

Tony Moly July 2019 vital mask

Vital Vita 12 Brightening Sheet Mask - Estimated Value $4.50

You can only buy this mask in a set with vital vita mini ampoules, so no value here (if I had to guess it would be around $4.50?). I liked that niacinamide was the fifth ingredient on the list for this mask, and the mask itself was a light peach color that made things a little more fun. The mask fit my face well, and my skin looked a touch brighter after wearing.

Tony Moly July 2019 dr. logy

Dr. Logy Brightening Sheet Mask - Retail Value $4.95

The Dr. Logy masks from TONYMOLY may be my favorite sheet mask line from the brand. The mask itself is super thin and fits the curves of my face well, and the ingredients list is decent. This mask was soaked with essence, so I was able to wear it for over a half-hour in peaceful masking bliss.

Tony Moly July 2019 lemon

I’m Lemon Gel Eye Patches, set of 2 - Retail Value $8

I will take all of the hydrogel eye patches, and these are pretty nice. The $4 per use is a bit steep when you consider eye patches from Patchology run about $3 a pop, but I do feel like my dark circles looked a bit brighter after using.

Tony Moly July 2019 peach

Peach Punch Cleansing Water, 300 ml - Full-Size! Retail Value $15.50

I love micellar waters- I use them to cleanse every morning instead of a regular cleanser. If you're not into heavily fragranced skincare, I would recommend skipping this one because the peach scent is strong. The scent does fade quickly, and I have enjoyed using this in the morning.

Tony Moly July 2019 piky 1 Tony Moly July 2019 piky 2 Tony Moly July 2019 piky 3

Piky Biky Art Pop Enamel Lip Tint in 02 Visual Shock, 9.5 g - Full-Size! Retail Value $7.50

I have tried this lip tint in a different shade from a different subscription box, and along with being in love with the cute paint can packaging I also love the vivid pigment this provides. It can get a bit messy, though, so the way I use it is by applying a layer, waiting a bit, and then blotting it all off. I am left with a nice wash of color that won't budge for a while.

Tony Moly July 2019 piky 4

Here it is swatched. The top is what it looks like when first applied; the bottom is when it is blotted.

Tony Moly July 2019 rose 1 Tony Moly July 2019 rose 2

Panda's Dream Rose Oil Moisture Stick, 9 g - Full-Size! Retail Value $14.50

This solid oil stick provides serious moisture to the dry skin that needs it, and I am infatuated with the packaging of a panda holding a rose. I really like the Panda's Dream line from TONYMOLY, and I appreciate that this moisture stick is multi-purpose and can be used all over.

Tony Moly July 2019 ampoules

Vital Vita 12 Firming Ampoule - Buy the 1 oz version for $20

Vital Vita 12 Poresol Ampoule - Buy the 1 oz version for $20

Vital Vita 12 Moisture Ampoule - Buy the 1 oz version for $20

The Vital Vita line from TONYMOLY is relatively new, so these mini ampoules have been a frequent guest in the monthly boxes. These have come in handy when I have been traveling or doing skincare at the gym, but these are too small to really see noticeable results.

Tony Moly July 2019 tako 1 Tony Moly July 2019 tako 2 Tony Moly July 2019 tako 3

Tako Pore Sebum Sun Stick, 1 oz - Full-Size! Retail Value $12.50

I was a little confused when I saw this- I could have sworn this came in a previous box! After some digging, I realized it came in my February 2019 PinkSeoul box. If you don’t think this octopus sunscreen is absolutely adorable, I am not sure we can be friends. This cheerful guy is made with calamine and marine extracts and is designed to provide sun protection while also controlling oil. To be honest, I don’t think this lived up to the claim of controlling oil- my skin felt a little greasy at the end of the day after using this. That being said, I think this would be perfect for reapplying sunscreen when you're outside being active, like on the beach or hiking, because of the portability and the fact that the ingredients can soothe skin already exposed to the sun.

Tony Moly July 2019 mint 1 Tony Moly July 2019 mint 2

LIPTONE Lip Care Stick in Mint, 3.5 g - Full-Size! Retail Value $10

I love anything mint flavored, lip balms included. This is made with shea butter, beeswax, and honey extract, and I found that the moisture it provided to dry lips was long-lasting.

Tony Moly July 2019 hand cream

I’m Berry Hand Cream, 30 ml - Full-Size! Retail Value $6

Hand creams are a common feature in the box, but I’m not complaining. This has a light berry scent, and it didn't leave my hands greasy after applying it.

The Verdict: The monthly bundles from TONYMOLY are fast becoming one of my favorite boxes to receive- the combination of full-sized products, cute minis, and fun packaging is hard to beat if you are a K-Beauty fan. Value-wise, however, this box came up a bit short of the promised value of $103. Not including the Vital Vita sheet mask and mini ampoules, I calculated a total value of $86.70. I think the value of the ampoules and the sheet mask put the actual value pretty close to the promised value, and I definitely think this is a good bang for your buck if you love K-Beauty.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but the August bundle is currently available!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $44.50 ($39 + $7.50 shipping) which means that you are paying $3.70 per item (counting the three mini ampoules as one).

It’s not a subscription. You just buy the bundle they release each month from their site.

Thanks for the great honest review!! I wish that I wouldn’t have talked myself out of buying this box as I would have used every product. I was not so patiently waiting for the August spoilers as I had decided to order, but I was super disappointed that the August box is strictly sheet masks and not all something that interests me! I’m definitely keeping my fingers crossed that they redeemed themselves with a fabulous September box!

I feel the same! I really wanted this box but it’s a little steeper in price than most so I talked myself out if it. I totally regret doing that now! So many things that are not just useful but so adorable as well! I agree about the next box with only sheet masks. EASY pass. I’m not a huge fan of sheet masks anyway, so once you take away all the other types of products I wouldn’t pay $20 for it, let alone what the box actually costs.

This got me so excited to try the box! Sad this one is sold out, but the August sheet mask bundle is not exciting to me 🙁

Loved this one. That Piky Biky lip stain is great. I bought more! Bummed about the August Sheet Mask Bundle. I am not a fan of sheet masks.
