How do I check box details?

I ordered the box yesterday with the coupon and free mystery bundle. When I clicked box details, it showed the following:
GWP: DRB-BE-018 x 1
GWP: dpHUE ACV Hair Masque x 1
GWP: Free People x Understated Leather Starry Eyed Travel Eye Mask – Grey x 1
GWP: WAY OF WILL Uplift Essential Oil Set: Eucalyptus, Lemongrass, Sweet Orange x 1

I’m pretty happy if my mystery gift includes the hair mask. I will definitely use that. Anyways, all choices were available as of yesterday except for the hair straighter. I mostly ordered for the lunch box and bauble bar earrings. I’m really hoping for the wander eye masks as well, since I didn’t get to customize that choice.

How do I check details to see what’s in my mystery bundle

Em: You go to your account and under orders look to the right there is something that says invoice. Click on that and it should give you a list of what will be in your mystery bundle.

So I signed up today for the Fall Box. My daughter has been a subscriber for over a year, but there wasn’t anything that really made me want to sign up until I saw the straightener as an option. As you know, you have no clue what options are still available until you put in your payment info, and they process payment, and then allow you to customize. As you said, the straightener was sold out, but I could not get out of the customization process, no matter what I clicked it. So, I went through the process. Afterwards, I clicked on the link to cancel the subscription, and as soon as the page came up, so did a chat box with a rep asking me if they could help. I explained that it was the straightener that finally prompted me to try the subscription, and that because I did not know that it was sold out until after they processed payment, and I was wondering if there was any way to cancel the box. The gentleman was very nice and asked me to hold for several minutes. When he came back, he said he had talked with his supervisor and with her permission, was wondering if I would consider keeping the Fall box if they could send me the straightener. Since that is why I decided to try the box, I agreed. I’m sure that once you click on the cancel link, the one goal of the rep who pops up to chat is to retain you as a subscriber, even if it means sending you an option that they are ‘sold out’ of. I also used the code to get the free mystery bundle, and am excited to get the box and see if it is worth it for me personally. I am already a subscriber to Boxy, and love that it is almost exclusively haircare, skincare, and makeup, and allows me to try products and brands that I might not otherwise.

I canceled all of my FFF subscriptions.

There are just too many issues. Fall was my last box. It didn’t feel special any more. I’ve been with them since their second box and there are only so many exfoliaters and hair masks I can use or gift.

I would have loved more stationary, more luxury socks, more good kitchen and office stuff and organizing stuff in general.

We all know the retail prices are crazy. I’m thankful I’ve moved past cheap materials that will last only for a season and don’t want this stuff in my life anymore.

I did like the flat iron as it works great to iron the cuffs on the bottom of my denim shorts and pants. 😂

I’ve followed up three times about my Summer Edit order (never received a single email- not out of stock, not “there’s a delay”, nothing). Each time I’ve been told it’s packed and now shipping, but they are unable to give me a tracking ID.

Fed up, they’ve had my money for months and I think I’ve been scammed.

I haven’t had any shipping issues, nor have I had problems with the add ons or items being in stock when I customize. I’m just sad about the quality of non-beauty items. I will wait to comment after the Fall box review.

I’ve gotten a couple boxes from them in the last year because there were a couple items I wanted but to be honest the majority of their stuff is just cheap goods. And just because there’s a designer name doesn’t mean it’s quality, it’s usually a cheaply made piece designed specifically for the box….cough cough Kate Spade and Spiritual Gangster. I just don’t understand the hype over this sub. I think this box is best for teenagers or college kids. It does look like they’re losing subscribers but I doubt not enough to make a dent. From what I read last year they had 750,000 subscribers.

FFF really used to be a great subscription, until they pushed for and got a million subscribers. Quality of items went downhill as well as the out of stock and shipping issues. The community used to be fun to visit, but not anymore. I did not renew my annual sub or my two daughters annual subs. Just not worth it anymore, which is a shame.

Try causebox and journeebox, they are awesome and customer service is amazing

Is My Subscription Addiction going to post a review for the fall box? Or was it posted and I missed it?

Liz Cadman

Review should be posted in the next day or so! 🙂

Katy

Awesome! I always look forward to hearing your thoughts on the items. Thanks for the quick response! 😊

Kc

Seems like fff posts need the disclaimer about customer care to warn consumers of all the issues they’ve been having.

Reply ButtonReply

Kc

Never mind I just saw the shipping disclaimer. Lots of out of stock items, changing items last minute when they change their minds (tooth whitening system got yanked last min) etc

My last “$125 mystery box” contained a vinyl belt, a jar of whish stuff that was selling as an add-on for $9, and the same essential oil set that I’d gotten in the previous box. I’m not falling for that again, lol.

I got the ugliest winter scarf in the summer, a pink plastic wallet and a water bottle. Hardly worth the claimed 125. The only item I used was the water bottle, the others were trashed.

LOL, I got an “As Seen on TV” can opener in my bundle!

Rachel

My last mystery bundle was the same.

I hope the cheeseboard Is still available.

Im scared of mystery bundles. Maybe there will be a full spoiler before it sells out and ill decide then

Full spoilers on a “Mystery” Bundle? Don’t hold your breath. Lol!

How can we tell if our customization options will be limited due to products selling out? I’m curious if the amika Strand Perfect Ceramic Styler is still available.

Dani

It’s not available. Sold out. Luckily I wanted the scarf!

Britt

Thank you!!

Christine

This will be my last box with FFF and I am not renewing. I have signed up for a few others sub boxes that are much better and I have been way happier with their shipping and products. FFF is just not that great.

Wow I didn’t even realize they got another warehouse 🤣😂🤣 well that really seemed to help with shipping lol NOT!

I would recommend staying far away from fabfitfun. What used to be my favorite subscription turned into wasted money & a hassle every box with shipping. Not to mention the struggle with add ons & edit sales. I waited months for items to ship only to be told they were out of stock months after paying for the item! I have cancelled my subscription & wont be back unless customer service & shipping fix their issues.

Reply ButtonReply

Christina

I have also canceled! So fed up with missing & out of stock items. Do you recommend any similar subscriptions?

Causebox and Pop Sugar Must Have! Both have great quality products and are so thoughtfully curated, unlike FFF, which has been all over the place with its curations—especially the Fall box.

Nicole

Pop Sugar Must Have is nice, but it’s quarterly. Causebox is usually pretty good.

Cindy

My box never ships until I email them and ask them when it will ship (after I see others have received their boxes).

Not a very good way to run a business…..

Will be looking for a new sub when my year is completed. Tired of paying a month before shipment every.single.time. They can say that’s their normal (on time) shipment but that doesn’t mean it is good customer service.

Jeanine

Terrible terrible terrible always out of my add on after I paid, time and time again. After taking months to tell me. Finally I cancelled…well what do you know they decide to give me 10 dollars store credit!! No thank you!! Nice trick though!! If I wasn’t on so much product overload I would of taken the bait!!! Haha

Michele

To be honest, the new warehouse may be causing some slow shipments. But I was with them for a couple years (not the last 2 or 3 boxes) and they always had horrendous shipping times. They always had an excuse for it. But as far as I can tell it has never gotten better. To me, that just says that subscribers receiving their products in a timely manner is just not a priority for FFF. Just one of the reasons I no longer sub with them.

Sarah

I was with them about a year or so ago and never had any issues with shipping or delayed boxes. I haven’t been on a box addiction as of late so i am surprised with how FFF has gone from best box to not so liked box. I did cancel but not because of issues, it’s just that it was expensive and I had a few boxes that time too, was on product overload.

SquirrelyGirl

I’ve never had issues with them either. I must have good box karma.

nonya

I was with them for 2 years and cancelled my renewal with the fall box. Shipping and fullfillment has gotten WAY worse, as has the customer service in dealing with the issues (or not dealing with it). And this was happening way before the new warehouse system was instilled…it was *supposed* to fix the issues supposedly, not. I honestly don’t know how they are still functioning. They have to be hemorrhaging money with all of the credits, returns, replacements, cancellations etc. It’s gotten pretty insane to be honest, which is why so many have been cancelling (that and the quality of the box itself has gotten so bad). I personally think it’s super unethical that they keep pushing new memberships and refuse to go on a waitlist or skip a sale until they can catch up with themselves (if that’s even possible at this point).

Reply ButtonReply

Marina

Agreed, it’s not because of the new warehouse that there are shipping issues! Actually surprised that’s what it says here since the trouble started long before.
Also, want to note that the warehouse is supposedly to fix some of these issues so in theory things should improve…? Wouldn’t hold my breath though!
