Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences. After choosing when you’d like to receive your delivery, your stylist handpicks 5 items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Stitch Fix may be completely different.

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Box May 2019 Review

Stitch Fix Plus May 2019 - Booklet 2

This is the invoice that was included in my package. It lists out the items I received and the cost to keep each. I think a 25% discount for keeping everything is pretty generous!

Stitch Fix Plus May 2019 - Booklet 1

This really fun sheet of cards was also included. It has a note from my stylist in the upper left corner. I really appreciate the personalization that goes into her selections! All the other cards are styling ideas for the items in my box. How clever!

Gigi Leather T-Strap Sandal by Sam Edelman - Cost to Keep $70

What cute sandals! I wish they came in the shoebox instead of in a bag, because I don't know all that much about them. They are supposedly a wide size, but they aren't wide enough, unfortunately. I also prefer a little arch support, so I tend to not wear this type of completely flat sandal. The box might have also told me what it is made of, but I feel pretty confident in saying the strap is a manmade material. As usual, I wish these had worked out, but I have very wide feet, so I am a hard one to style with shoes.

Dulce Short Sleeve Knit Top by Emory Park - Cost to Keep $34

This top is pretty much my ideal summer black shirt. It is a soft cotton knit, so it's really comfortable. The sleeves are just right, and the straps across the chest give it a little extra style. It fits well and is flattering, too. Perfect!

Stitch Fix Plus May 2019 - Riley Printed Maxi Skirt By Gilli Close View

Riley Printed Maxi Skirt by Gilli - Cost to Keep $48

I love maxi skirts in the summer! They are a cool and breezy alternative to pants or jeans when I don't feel like showing my legs. This one is a pretty color and print. It is a synthetic blend, and while I do prefer natural fibers, this one is still quite comfortable. I don't know whether I would have picked this out for myself, but I like it!

I know I would never have picked this top out for myself, but I really like it! It's super cute! The red, white, and blue stripes are muted, which gives it that unmistakable summer feel without being too loud. It's a crisp cotton, so it is nice and cool. I love the buttons and the trim on the sleeves, both of which are really stylish details. This is so cute!

Azule Surplice Top by Ava James  - Cost to Keep $44

This is my favorite piece in the box! I love this top! It is a crepe material with a tacked wrap style, dolman sleeves, and an elastic waist. I absolutely love the colors and the tie-dye, and the cut is surprisingly flattering on me. I love it!

The Verdict: I love Stitch Fix! It's easily among my favorite subscription boxes. This month I loved everything except the shoes, so I am really happy. I especially loved the tie-dye top and the striped top. Stitch Fix also has really reasonable prices. I can't wait for my next Fix!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Stitch Fix curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $234. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $155.50 for the whole box. Ultimately, that’s a savings of about 34%.  The average cost per piece in this box is $46.80.

I was just thinking that!! I haven’t subbed in a while due to the hefty price tag despite selecting the lower price options when filling out my style survey thing. This was a great, reasonably priced fix!
