This month's palette is called "P.S. I Love You." It's packaged inside a matching cardboard sleeve.

And here are the colors! (I'll swatch them in a moment for ya.) Okay, first impressions. The hues are a little warmer than the typical colors I tend to choose for myself. If you look hard enough, I have some olive tones to my skin, but I'm generally a winter (to get retro about it, hehe) with dark, brown-black hair and icy blue eyes. In other words, I usually look to likewise cool tones in my makeup—think mushroomy-gray neutrals, blues, lilacs, and the blackest eyeliner I can find.

That said, I do LOVE gold eyeshadow. It's just so much fun and gives me instant party vibes. And I appreciate how this palette is a mix of matte and shimmery shades. I'm excited to see how they look on me!

Here are the mattes. Top to bottom: Love Letter, Soulmate, Mi Amor, and My Everything.

It took a few swipes to get this level of pigmentation and these could be a little smoother.

The shimmers from top to bottom: 143, XOXO, Te Amo, Passion, and Spark.

These were smooth and pigmented with zero effort.

Though some of these neutrals feel a little more like colors I already own, I wanted to go a little heavier with them than I usually would. I am a very 'au natural' eyeshadow user, so bear with me!

This might not look like much, but for me, this is a lot!

I used Love Letter over most of my lid. It is a really pretty color with a smoky pink softness. I then added a little My Everything and Soulmate to the outer corner of my eye, though I honestly found Soulmate really difficult to blend smoothly. There is also a tiny bit of XOXO on top to give it a little shimmer. Finally, I blended Mi Amor under my lower lash line.

The Verdict: I liked most of the colors in my ShadowMe palette. I guess I actually liked them all, but some are absolutely more in my comfort zone than others! This palette is one of those that could easily work for demure days looks or dramatic evening lids and I thought the formulas were all pretty good, especially the shimmers. If you absolutely love eyeshadow, this is absolutely a sub to check out!

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

Would love to see the bold colors get used but guess I’ll just look on YouTube to see if anyone has created a different look with this palette
