In case anyone is still checking this post, I just wanted to add that I received my order for the BOGO holiday box offer today and my order included both boxes. (And I confirmed I was only charged for the single $40 box) Yay! Such a great deal.

As for my process: I just added a single box to my order. Nothing ever reflected that I would receive the second box that were advertised – not my confirmed order, not my emailed order, not my online order status. Nothing So I just kept my fingers crossed. For once, everything went as planned. Double yay!

I called CS as soon as I saw the promotion on GB’s website; the deal had just been advertised on their site. It was before GB or MSA sent emails about it. The CS rep. didn’t know about the promotion, but she checked and then she completed the transaction for me over the phone. She was very nice, and I received the extra box. I called bc it wasn’t clear whether you were supposed to add 1 or 2 boxes to your cart. It’s troubling to hear about rude CS reps and even more troubling that GB didn’t send the BOGO to everyone who ordered it. It’s like the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing!

Same (received 2 boxes today), except for it did say in a red banner at the top of the page that you would receive 2 boxes , even though only one shows in your cart. I’m not sure they are still doing this offer though. I think they changed it to a free holiday box with a new subscription.

Yep, I did see that. But oddly I also saw another red box, either just above or just below that one – I can’t remember, about the coupon code not applying or something like that. I never even input a coupon code so it made no sense. I figured it was just an odd glitch. But that oddity, coupled with some of the comments below about only getting one holiday box or one Mother’s Day box, made me think glossy might mess this up too and only send one box. But no! Yay! Serves me right for being a cynic!

So I just wanted to report that at least some of the orders worked as they were supposed to work. Im so glad yours was right too. Wonders never cease! (There goes my cynicism again!)

I received the email for the BOGO offer & put 2 holiday boxes in my cart, it was charging for both. Immediately called their rude CS rep who refused to help but
complained after being only one there. Read this post that said order 1 and 2nd would be sent automatically. Did that, followed up with them repeatedly for 6 days. They answered today to say I would only get 1. Shoddy, shady company! Anyone else experience this?

Yes, this happened to me as well. Luckily, I took a screenshot of the deal as posted here saying they would automatically ship 2, (gut instinct), so they agreed to refund me 50% of the cost, only because of that screenshot, I’m sure. Now we wait and see if they actually process the refund.

I took the screenshot and sent it to them in advance on the first day. Five days later they asked for the screenshot I’d already sent. After 6 days, they said they would refund 50% at my request since that was the only alternative I could think of and that’s why I shared it with MSA.

As I just mentioned, try asking for a refund for half of it.

Yes. The same happened to me, for this box and the mother’s day bogo deal. Their customer service is absolutely rude and horrible. I am still dealing with them

My advent calendar came yesterday, everything seems fine. I actually liked it more in person and will end up using more items from it than I initially thought I would.

Well, I mean, even if those aren’t the hottest items, $49.50 for 25 items with no tax and free shipping is a steal.

When do the products expire? Just asking because it’s now July and this was released end of 2018.

I suspect these are not just made products and they have been laying around the warehouse for at least 8 months. That’s why it’s on sale. None of the items have expiration date on them. So really, there is no way of knowing

They should have a shelf life of 36 months, but I don’t think there is any way of knowing when anything in these boxes was manufactured.

I remember receiving a practically empty jar in one of the Glossybox limited edition boxes once because the cream had dried out.

I grabbed the Holiday BOGO. I got the box when it first came out and like the Cirem stuff. At 40$ for two of those, that’s a heckin heck of a deal.

Agree. I got 1 Holiday LE box a few months ago on sale for $25, and was so happy to get the BOGO before it sold out. Fantastic deal. It’s a great box!

Can anyone help me with this??? I ordered this thru the MSA link above and used the XMASJULY promo code last night I already got a shipping notification but it only states 1 box. So my question is will I be receiving 1 or 2 boxes? I’m hoping 2 because that’s the only reason I purchased it..

The code was only applicable for the advent calendar. The holiday box didn’t need a promo code, nor would the second free box have been reflected in your order.

Also be careful of searching spoilers b/c glossybox offers better items in their UK boxes so you likely won’t recieve the same thing.

I purchased one and have a pic, but can’t load it, I sent it to MSA a while ago. Some of the brands; DHC, Colorscience, bellapierre, luna by luna, nip fab, eyeko & invisbob things. There are cotton pads and two makeup brushes and more.

Use the search bar above and look for GlossyBox Advent Calendar. One post says it has full spoilers, but they are the spoilers for the UK box, and the US one was different, so maybe look at the comments on the second post that contains those keywords.

I read the reviews on the Advent Calendar on Glossybox’s website. Customers were saying that they were disappointed, as the US version is VERY different from the UK version. i.e. a lot of sample sized products & brands that hadn’t heard of before.

I got the limited edition box at the same time as BOGO mothers day box. I believe it was on sale for maybe $25 or so. The only thing I’ve used so far was the Rituals hand balm. Love the smell! Definitely don’t need anymore. So will pass. Also no to the Advent calendar. I haven’t even looked what’s in there. I am sure nothing I need

I got the BOGO deal. Just the Cirem makes it worth it and I am really interested in the tinting mascara. I have blonde eyelashes and eyes that water a lot so mascara has become super annoying to wear. I like tubing mascara but a tint might be even better.

Ugh! I guess the only variation is in the lipstick. Looks like everyone got the same eye shadow, darn it.

There were two different colors of the VDL lipstick – poinsettia and maple. I got maple (ugh!) and am hoping for poinsettia. And I’m pretty sure that there were different colors of the eye shadow. But the rest of the items are all the same.

Hmm, I just got the Raw Spirit discovery set in a swap, and I am really not interested in any of the other items in the limited edition box, let alone two of each…

I think I’ll go take a look at that advent calendar again, I remember it was mostly the price that stopped me the last time, maybe I’ll splurge now. Not that I actually need anything, lol. The tough life of a beauty addict. 😊

Yeah, I pulled the trigger on the advent calendar. Even though the US version is totally inferior to the UK one, for $49.50 with no tax it’s still a good value, and I am sure I’ll use at least several of the items.
