Facetory SEVEN LUX April 2019 Review
Included this month were a cute postcard and another card with a list of all the masks in this month's box.
Now on to the masks!
FaceTory Let’s Talk Vitality! Firming Mask - Listed Value $4.00
This mask has pomegranate extract which contains tons of antioxidants. It also smells very fruity! The slightly milky serum was abundant and left my skin super hydrated. I was worried that this mask might be a little tacky, but to my pleasant surprise, the serum absorbed easily and left my face feeling clean. This mask also has shea butter, which is great for moisture staying power. I would highly recommend this mask to my dry skinned friends out there!
The Lotus Soothing + Whitening Mask - Listed Value $5.00
The sheet mask material on this one was a really pretty pink color, which I just loved immediately. The serum itself was plentiful and had a light clean scent. This mask had an instant cooling effect and although the finish was a little sticky, it was nothing some moisturizer couldn't fix. This mask had my fave sheet mask ingredient: green tea!
Ariul Juice Cleanse Mask Raspberry & Lentil 2X Plus - Listed Value $5.00 (found here for $2.99)
This mask had a ton of features and was a unique user experience for me. You actually separate the right 'bottle' side and open it, pouring the serum into the left pouch and saturating the dry mask. The dots on the mask are vitamin patches. It was really cool! I wish I had liked this mask more, but it actually felt like my face was burning. The serum seemed much more citrusy than raspberry, and it had a tart fruity scent. I couldn't leave this one on for more than a couple of minutes due to the burning sensation.
Yadah Brightening Jelly Pack - Retail Value $3.99
I thought this would be a jelly mask from the title, but it wasn't. It did have a slightly orange tint to the serum though! The power ingredient here is niacinamide, which is great for brightening dull skin. It also has yuzu extract which is high in vitamin C, a glow-boosting antioxidant. A wee bit sticky, but nothing that would deter me from using this one again.
NOHJ Skin Maman Blueberry Wine Mask Pack - Listed Value $3.50
No real blueberry scent here, but the mask's mostly clear, slightly milky serum does smell fresh. This mask is another one that would really benefit dry skin, as it contains both coconut oil and ceramide, both of which boost your skins ability to hold moisture.
ElishaCoy Revitalizing Ampoule Solution Mask - Listed Value $3.50
This is one of those mask brands that I have seen frequently at my local CVS, though as a price point closer to $1.29. I actually really loved this mask because it was velvety soft and creamy. It had a great clean scent and felt super comforting on my face. No real stickiness left behind, only very calm and less red skin! I highly recommend grabbing a handful of these next time you end up at a CVS.
Haungjisoo Centella Repairing Mask- Retail Value $6.00 (found here on sale for $3.00)
This vegan mask was the first one I reached for from this batch because the packaging was so cute. I didn't like the mask itself as much because it fit poorly and kept sliding down my face. I actually didn't notice much difference after peeling this mask off, other than the normal moisture most sheet masks provide.
Verdict: Facetory was mostly fruit themed this month, and had a healthy dose of citrus, berries, and pomegranates. It felt very much like a spring/summer assortment. While some were total misses for me this month (I don't like a sheet mask that BURNS), there were winners too. This is a great sub for experimenting with different mask types and building up a pampering mask stash! I def. recommend this sub to mask lovers because the variety is always great and the price is good for high-quality masks.
