Pola Necklace - Retail Value $67.00
I really like designs like this because you can layer them with other favorite necklaces. The design itself is meant to reference the sun and the moon, two halves of a whole. The metal is gilded in gold and is bright and shiny. I like the hammered effect, though you could wear it displayed on either side easily. The 18-inch chain is a great length for me. This necklace feels both minimal and chic, which is a jewelry look I have been leaning more towards. Since most of my pieces are more of the statement variety, I love that this simple pendant is now in my collection.
Here I am wearing too much jewelry, but happy as a clam.

Verdict: This is the kind of subscription perfect for a stylish minimalist, who would rather own a few pieces of really great jewelry rather than a bunch of less expensive 'so-so' pieces. The gold plating makes the piece feel and look luxe, but without the solid gold price tag. I really loved the magazine that came with this necklace because the style was really aspirational, and just oh so French. The packaging was top notch and made the whole unboxing experience feel very special and high end. I can't wait to see what comes next month!
