There are lots of ways to get awesome deals with the sale section + the free gifts section, but here's one example to get you going!

Step 1: Add the Birchbox Limited Edition: Time to Dazzle box to your cart. It's regularly $66, this brings the cost down to $33, and it has a value of over $225 worth of items. Sent cs a text regarding the disappearing order item but they are closed over the weekend. Am pretty pissed about this waste of time. Will have to spend more time next week fighting with customer service for the bait and switch. They are also charging 10 before codes for the “free gift w/ $30 purchase”, for an order that is 30+ even after codes. This is technically, though low profit, fraud.

Submitted my order as directed. Went thru. Received both order and shipment confirmations. But today I got an email saying that skincare set that was confirmed in the order will not be added. ??? Classic bait and switch.

Did anyone else get an email today saying the Makeup Made Easy kit is not available and would not be included with my order? I ordered several days ago and they just sent this to me today. Weird.

Yes, I ordered the Limited Edition Time To Dazzle Box and received the same email from Birchbox stating:

Unfortunately, the Skincare Treatments Set is no longer available and we will not be able to apply it to your order. Please be assured you were not charged for this item.

I thought this was a free gift with purchase of $75. This is disappointing. I think it would be nice if Birchbox allowed you to pick from the other gifts with purchase that are still available or the men’s gifts with purchase.

I had gotten the email from Birchbox ( who didn’t?) and tossed it, not really understanding what they were offering as I’ve been away from the sub for a while.

Your great, I mean- super great- tutorial of how it added up and the free products and all made it so easy and impossible to resist. These are some really nice kits with name brand products! 😉

I even stumbled across this post while browsing.. I’d had BB on pause for months ( with an expired card listed for payment) but this offer pushed me right back into Birchbox Subscription Land.

I got the **Dazzle box, the **Makeup Superheroes set, the free**Mystery Sample Pack and the free**Skincare Set for purchases over $75.

I may cave and go BACK because I really really want the Hair Detangling Set too- sigh. I’ve cut tiny knots out of the back of my super long curly hair all_ winter_ long, the ends get so dry. I have so much hair it doesn’t show but it isn’t fun to have so many snarled curls. But I’m on a very low budget, so might or might not get the Hair Detangling box. Also want the Vogue box. ( It never ends- see why I’m on a ” low buy” huge ” move the money to SAVINGS” push? ;)).

I caved and got the exact same things as shown in the example purchase- Dazzle box, mystery sample pack, and skincare treatments set. After tax, it’s only $35.55. I may be broke, but at least I am fabulous!
I am going to gift the Smashbox primer & clip-on earrings, but everything else sounds exciting! The hair do thingamabob, the pretty nail polish, the eye brushes, a Beautyblender?! There’s so much here! ♡
The only things I already own are the two Sunday Riley items, and I will be saving these for an upcoming trip! I use them every day 🙂

same thing happened with my order, and I also had the same question as you, but everything came in the parcel!! I think perhaps they don’t include the free gift, in the number of items shipped? but I’m sure you’ll get everything that you ordered, as I did!

I got the dazzle box because I’ve wanted those earrings for ages!
Birchbox added a year subscription to my cart as I was checking out, which is super weird. I removed it and the coupons worked anyway. I chose the acure super greens serum which is a gift w $50 purchase because I love the brand! And would rather have one full size item than a bunch of samples.

I okayed my order total as $36 and got email confirmation. I then checked my cc statement online and after that charge was a separate one for $110. I did not approve that, nor did I get an email confirming it. I just sent them a message to cancel the subscription. It couldn’t have been in my cart if it said $36. Annoying!

I got an email from Liz promoting it maybe 10 days ago too, the same wording and coups stacking too. I got the time to dazzle box and the living proof style extender is the best thing I’ve ever received in my entire life! I can now go three, and maybe even four days in between washing my hair and it still looks wonderful! OMG such a wonderful thing. Now I you can throw my hair in a bun and jump in the shower real quick and just use my wonderful spongelle, and be in and out in three minutes.

I usually have extremely greasy hair I need to wash my hair at least every other day and use a bunch of dry shampoo in between. With this product I just put a almond sized amount in after my leave in conditioner which I try to focus on the tips of my hair, and I focus the living proof style extender towards the roots, but do extend it down. I then blowdry and I’m done for 3 days! Yay.

Can you do this same thing but let your hair air dry instead of blow dry? Or do you think the product would dry down differently in your hair?

I am super intrigued. I also have extremely greasy hair (by the second day…ugh) but never thought to use the LP style extender on my roots. I’m afraid it would lead to even more oily roots. I think I’ll try your method out tonight since I’m due for my second day hair wash.

I LOVE LP’s texture spray for that reason. I have fine hair that tends to get flat and/or greasy after the 2nd day. I have a full size of the style extender, but haven’t tried it yet. Now I’m totally going to, thank you!
