Little Crick Cranberry – Buy 10 g for $3.50
This delicate white tea was infused with the flavors of cranberries, oranges, cinnamon, and elderflowers. It almost had a creamy finish and was really comforting, kind of feeling a little like a fall tea. There is still a chill in the air though, so this warmth was welcomed. I enjoyed it with a slice of lemon and some raw sugar.
Strawberry Fields – Buy 10 g for $3.00
I didn’t love this tea. Somehow, even though there is nothing artificial in the ingredient list, the berry flavor just felt too much and not 100% natural. I do think the included spearmint and peppermint helped the overall flavor of this blend of black and green tea, but I couldn’t get past the fruitiness. I tried it with just raw sugar, though if you really love strawberry flavored teas I imagine adding cream could be quite decadent.
Beach Beautiful – Buy 10 g for $3.50
I loved this herbal blend very much. It has everything that gets me excited about an herbal tea, rose petals, jasmine, orange peel, and more. It was super mild and you could enjoy it alone, though I am going through a sugar craving sort of week so I did add sugar. If I could have added a single ingredient to this it would have been some pink peppercorns because they would have been amazing paired with the florals and the ginger root.
River City Grey – Buy 10 g for $3.50
If you read any of my tea reviews you know I am an Earl Grey addict. This was a really interesting twist on my bergamot favorite, as it also included lemongrass and rose petals, as well as a little clove. I enjoyed it very much, though I could have used more bergamot. Enjoy this brew alone or with some raw sugar or honey, and a lemon slice!
Verdict: Amoda Tea always amazes me with the variety they send, and how visually stunning each of the blends are. I love how you can literally see each and every ingredient. My fave this month is easily the Beach Beautiful, though of course that River City Grey is a close runner up. I also really enjoyed the warmth of the Little Crick Cranberry. The Strawberry Field tea was not my cup of tea, but the other three more than make up for it. Amoda also has a feature that if you dislike any teas in your monthly box, let them know and they will replace it in your next batch!
