The Item: Crocheted Purse
The Cost: Estimated Cost $15.00 (Subscription includes 2 vintage items for $30.00)
Why I love it: This purse is so wonderfully retro. I love the unexpected texture it brings to an outfit, and the golden color really stands out on a gray winter evening. It’s roomy, too, with plenty of space for my giant phone, a makeup bag, sunglasses, and more.

The Item: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, .08 oz
The Cost: Estimated Value: $2.29 (buy a .7 oz full size for $20)
Why I love it: What a lovely lip product! It’s a “mask,” I think because it’s quite thick and easy to apply heavily but I’ve been wearing it at the beginning of the day, too, before I do my lipstick. It’s thick, creamy, melts onto my lips, and feels great on. A little goes quite a long way, so this sample will last a while. This definitely feels luxe and pampering to me, and I expect to purchase the full-size once this runs out. They have a vanilla variation, which I am all about! This has definitely brought me a lovely moment of joy after washing my face each night.

The Item: Flashes of Lightning Necklace
The Cost: Retail Value $55
From: Xio Jewelry Subscription
Why I love it: Xio has delighted me with so many great picks since they launched. Each month I am surprised with a few items I can’t stop wearing — this unique choker is my fave this month. Seven dangling lightning bolts adorn this gold chain, which hangs perfectly at the base of my neck. This necklace is a more casual piece that adds a little flair to any outfit.

The Cost: $18
Why I love it: CosRX is one of the more popular K-Beauty brands, and they get rave reviews online for their effective, yet affordable, products. I had been wanting to try more products from them so when I opened up my mystery box and saw this it felt like a special treat. This has a gel texture that isn’t too thick and spreads out evenly over the skin, and it is made with propolis extract as its first ingredient. This has been a great overnight mask to add hydration and nourishment to my skin without feeling too heavy, and my skin always looks happier the next morning.

The Item: Marauder’s Map Calendar
The Cost: Listed Value $16
Why I love it: This magical subscription usually delivers high-quality items, but this cleverly-engineered, permanent calendar is one of my favorite items I’ve ever received from them! Inspired by the Marauders Map, it’s well-made and pleasingly interactive – perfect for putting in a glassless frame. I love getting items that are useful, and the fact that I can use this one forever is super-satisfying. This subscription is always full of the best surprises that I would’ve never anticipated.

The Cost: $24.00
Why I love it: This color is just absolutely stunning! I am a huge fan of all shades of aqua and turquoise, but this yarn’s color is exactly my very favorite shade of blue. I love the spring-time vibes this gives me, and it is such a cheery color for the middle of winter. I also love the sock pattern included in the crate this month and think that it showcases the subtle variations in this yarn so well.

The Cost: $98.00
Why I love it: My favorite prints these days are bright, bold flowers, and I’ve also been wearing a lot of green lately. So this dress is just perfect for me. It has fun details like bows on the sleeves and pockets and it actually fits me pretty well in the midsection (which is not always true of Unique Vintage dresses).

The Item: Perricone MD Brightening Serum
The Cost: $69.00
From: NewBeauty TestTube
Why I love it: Perricone MD is my jam and I am always THRILLED to get a full-size product from them in a box. I love this serum because it is brightening, but also light. It also smells weirdly great and layered just fine under my moisturizer. I also love the apothecary vibe of the packaging and the little dropper applicator.

The Item: Kuretake Hikkei Fine Tip Pen
The Cost: $2.08
From: The Inky Box
Why I love it:
This was my first time reviewing the Inky Box, which sends supplies for exploring hand lettering. I’m still very new to trying calligraphy and this pen’s small brush nib was easy to use right away even as a beginner. I love the way it writes and have been relying on it for outlining in my bullet journal.

The Item: Faithbox Embrace Your Journey Everyday Faith 2019 Planner
The Cost: Estimated Value $20
Why I love it: I have been using the planner weekly. The sections “This Months Goals”, I’m Praying For”, “Reflection Space”, and “Monthly Review” have been helpful in setting my intentions for the month and allowing me to thoughtfully create an action plan and goal setting for myself. These sections of the planner besides the actual calendar grid have been the most beneficial.

The Item: Poplar Cowl Neck Knit Top by Pink Clover
The Cost: $44
From: Stitch Fix
Why I love it: This top is totally my style with its stripes and neutral colors. It is super comfy, I can throw it over leggings for lounging around at home or I can wear it with jeans if I am heading out. I have been getting a lot of use out of this since I got it…probably too much since I’m sure you’ve noticed me wearing it in more than one review this month!

The Item: Floral Gemstone Earrings
The Cost: $36.99 a month for 2-3 pieces
Why I love it: I love these floral gemstone earrings because they put the glam into GLAMOROUS! My 3 year old son is taking me to a mother/son ball in March, and these go perfectly with my little black dress! Not only do they go with cocktail attire, but they spruce up my sweaters as well! The Item: 2018 Cape Route Chenin Blanc
The Cost: Retail value $16.99 (or $13 through subscription)
Why I love it: Firstly, I was delighted about this bottle being a twist off. It was the first wine I’ve ever tried from South Africa, so right away, it had my interest. I’d also never heard of chenin blanc, so the excitement only built. The label design is so modern and sweet, right? In terms of flavor, this white piles on the fruit notes (apple, lemon, pear, and pineapple), and is so light and smooth, it instantly earned the honor of being deemed my favorite for the month. I can only imagine how much more delicious it will be after having some time to properly chill. In a box full of dry, just-okay wines, this chenin blanc was a delicious oasis.
