Monthly XIO Bag January 2019 Review
The theme of this month’s box is “It’s Electric,” with the spotlight on delicate gold jewelry and fun lightning bolts with cubic zirconia accents.
On the back of the info card, XIO lists each item featured as well as what each piece is made of and its retail value. All jewelry this month is comprised of gold plated 925 sterling silver.
Made of Lightning Necklace - Retail Value $70
As far as pendants go, XIO really puts out the cutest and the most unique I’ve seen. Their use of delicate gold chains to hold large, yet sleek pendants is a style I’ve really been loving. This lightning bolt measures 2 inches, and it is giving me a slightly edgy, trendy vibe.
Cubic zirconias found in the center of this piece add extra shine and interest to this “electrifying” necklace.
Flashes of Lightning Necklace - Retail Value $55
I’ve fallen for XIO’s dangling gold chokers once again! This one is especially cute sporting 7 lighting bolts, chock full of cubic zirconias.
Flashes of Lightning Necklace isn’t as short as the previous necklaces of this style, measuring at 19 inches, but there is a 4-inch extender which allows it to sit perfectly at the base of my neck.
I just love the way these trinkets beam when the light hits them!
Keep Shining Pave Hoops - Retail Value $45
Hoops were something I never gravitated toward, but the petite styles coming out recently are simply beautiful, including this pair. They also click when on securely, so you won’t have to worry about them falling off too easily.
Lil’ Light Squad Earrings - Retail Value $35
The only thing cuter than this pair of lightning bolt studs is the name of them! Lil’ Light Squad is a squad I’d love to join! As with the other pieces, these earrings have the same cubic zirconia accents and come with butterfly backs or ear nuts to secure them.
I am pretty obsessed with my new electric accessories!
The Verdict: Monthly XI0 Bag has become my favorite jewelry subscription. I adore the pieces they send each month, with each piece coordinating with another, and their monthly themes are so creative and cute. This month has finds that are more casual and playful, and I’ve been wearing them all together nonstop!
