Even the box is special and super cute every time! We always have a bonus trinket attached the wrapping paper—this time, it’s a mini screen cleaner.
When you turn the box inside out, you’ll see a different version! These Sanrio characters are all dressed up for snow in this lovely blue snow theme.

Winter 2018 Hello Kitty and Friends Crate Review
Loot Crate always includes a descriptive list of what items you receive, which doubles as a poster. I love the sky-blue theme of this quarter, and the characters are so adorable, playing and enjoying the snow.
Let’s dive into the snow Loot Crate and Sanrio brought us!
Multi-Character Mug
This ceramic mug is a beautiful exclusive collective featuring the same design as the poster, and characters My Melody, Pompompurin, Hello Kitty, Kerokerokeroppi, and the twins Kiki and Lala. It’s a very sturdy mug and does not lose heat easily, making it the perfect cup for a nice tea latte for the winter.
The inside of the mug is a beautiful powder blue, perfect for the winter season!
Hello Kitty Plush Throw Pillow
This plushie pillow is the perfect size for a quick nap on the couch. It’s perfectly squishy and soft! I do feel a bit bad for Hello Kitty for smushing her with my heavy head when I sleep, though… I also love Hello Kitty’s pink scarf 😊 Did you know? Hello Kitty doesn’t have a mouth, because she speaks to you from her heart!
Multi-Character Scarf
Perfect for the winter, Loot Crate has gifted a warm scarf. The blue is the same powdery blue on the cup and other accessory items to fit with the snowy theme. Though I loved the characters, I think the string fringe, with alternating light blue and white, is such a nice aesthetic. It’s fluffy and soft!
Multi-Character Socks
I am not much of a sock wearer, though my feet are always the coldest part of my body, but I could not refuse these adorable characters adorning the socks! There is a finishing white stripe with a Hello Kitty bow, and tiny snowflakes with the Sanrio characters on the baby blue background. There have been recent cold temperature drops in my area, so I’ve been loving how I can keep my neck warm!
Multi-Character Embroidered Patch Pin Set
Pins are a common collectible you’ll see in geek boxes. These beautifully embroidered pins have Hello Kitty (in a scarf, like the plushie) and the Little Twins Kiki and Lala. They match the theme box, which is a nice touch to have all the items match.
Sanrio Trinket
Sometimes we get a small token from Loot Crate this month’s trinket was a tiny screen cleaner with My Melody on the front. I misplaced it before I was able to photograph it, but there is an image of the trinket in the booklet above. It does the job, but it’s a little too small for it to make a difference…
Verdict: Loot Crate's Hello Kitty and Friends box won me over this month with the aesthetically pleasing powdery blue snow scenes with all the Sanrio characters! I’m happy none of the items will go to waste, as sometimes in geek boxes there are items you end up not using but keeping only for the décor. Unfolding the box to reveal the theme was also a fun experience!
