Stitch Fix started offering a styling service for plus sizes, and I couldn’t be happier. I signed up on the very first day, of course!

Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences. After choosing when youíd like to receive your delivery, your stylist handpicks 5 items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

January 2019 Stitch Fix Plus Clothing Review

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Subscription Box Review January 2019 - Invoice Top

This is the invoice that was included in my package. It lists out the items I received and the cost to keep each. I think a 25% discount for keeping everything is pretty generous!

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Subscription Box Review January 2019 - Booklet Top

This really fun sheet of cards was also included. It has a note from my stylist in the upper left corner. I really appreciate the personalization that goes into her selections! All the other cards are styling ideas for the items in my box. How clever!

Agnes Delicate Bracelet Set by Bancroft - Cost to Keep $28

This bracelet set is gorgeous, and that's a good price! I have to mention that every time I get jewelry from Stitch Fix, it is always really shiny and in great condition. I really feel like it is a step up from jewelry you might find at a mall chain store like Forever 21 but at similar prices! I think I have to keep this set.

Alyssa Knit Dress by Wisp - Cost to Keep $88

Cotton knit may not be a luxe fabric or anything like that, but it is easily the most comfortable fabric in the world to me. I am also a sucker for all things purple! But honestly, purple aside, I think this dress is super cute! I like the trim and the print a lot, and I think the cut is pretty good for me as well. Another keeper!

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Subscription Box Review January 2019 - Georgie Swing Knit Top by Papermoon On Front

Georgie Swing Knit Top by Papermoon - Cost to Keep $38

This cotton blend knit top is a tough call for me. The cut is perfect, and it is really comfortable. I also like that the neckline is nice and open. I am not wild about the color. Is anyone else out there getting a little burned out on olive? I also never wear anything sleeveless because I do not like the way my arms look, but I can see wearing this with an outer layer. It's also a good price. What to do...

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Subscription Box Review January 2019 - Evan Distressed Boyfriend Jean by Liverpool On Side

Evan Distressed Boyfriend Jean by Liverpool - Cost to Keep $78

These jeans are really cute! They are slightly faded, have very little stretch, and have super cool distressed details. I mention all these things together because I actually have a pair of black jeans almost exactly like these that I bought a year or so ago. I really like them, but because of that, I think I will have to pass.

Zephyr Open Cardigan by Love Always - Cost to Keep $48

I really like the pattern and colors on this acrylic cardigan! It is also pretty warm. You can see here how the whole look of the tank underneath changes because of the outer layer, and I like it more. I might have to keep both pieces!

The Verdict: I am a big fan of Stitch Fix! This month was almost a grand slam! I really love the bracelets and the dress. I am enjoying my subscription to Stitch Fix so far, and I think their prices are among the most reasonable. I can't wait for my next Fix!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $280. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $190 for the whole box. Ultimately, that’s a savings of about 32%. The average cost per piece in this box is $56.

Oh Anna, if you were planning to keep everything but the jeans, you might as well keep them too because it would be cheaper to get the whole box! I think you looked great in all of it!
