Inspired By Night Forest Triangle Scarf - Listed Retail Value $61.00
There were two scarf designs that could have come in the box and I received the "Nigh Forest" variation with dark greens, blues, and reds. The pamphlet tells me that this Scandinavian company uses photos for inspiration. This one has a floral print on its triangular shape which makes it super easy to style around my neck. Although I am a little sad I didn't get the other variation with greys and pinks, this color palette feels more appropriate for the cold. It's made of 90% wool and 10% silk so its incredibly soft and although it's lightweight, still has some warmth to it. This scarf should be useable from the Fall all the way to Spring!
AYTM Anulo Stainless Steel Silver Candlestick - Retail Value $38.00
One thing I love about Scandinavian style is how minimalism is very present. Here in the US- bigger is better, but the Scandinavians seem to get that less is more which is a mantra I subscribe to. It's really apparent in this super simple candlestick design that pairs down what is really needed. I can see this being used bedside during a blackout, on a mantle to give some warm glow, or at a dining table to light a nice meal. The quality is solid
ASP-Holmblad Candles, 10 ct - Listed Retail Price $7.00
Wow- these are some sturdy candles! The weight of these alone attests to their quality. This box of 10 is, of course, the perfect size for the candlestick and is a great addition to the box. This company is the oldest candle maker in Denmark and has been at it for 300 years, so I trust they know what they're doing! They also produce candles for Denmarks Royal Court, so now I feel fancy. Each one lasts around 6.5 hours so this 10 pack should last quite a while. Certainly a lifetime for me given the infrequency I burn candles like this. 🙂
Skandinavisk Øy Island Solitude Hand Cream, 2.54 oz. - Retail Value $19.10
Well, I am obviously obsessed with this packaging and am especially enamored by the metal tube this hand cream comes in. Something about a metal tube just seems luxurious, right? This hand cream is super duper nice and leaves my hands elegant and soft, but I sadly cannot get down with the specific scent I received. Out of the two variations, I got the one with Sea Buckthorn which brings a very rich scent that I can only describe as "masculine" even though I hate gendering scents. That's sadly the best I can come up with! I am really interested in ordering one of the other scents they make though (mainly, this Skog one, although Fjord sounds amazing too). It's also nice to find a full-size tube in the box!

They've included a free bonus gift of two sample packs of nordic gummies from Wally and Whiz. The packaging is really well designed and both flavors seem unique and interesting! The first packet (elderflower + rosehip) has a very delicate floral yet sweet taste that I love. The apple with Yuzu is delightfully fruity and has a pear flavor to it. Both are super yum!
Verdict: While this Norlii box wasn't my personal favorite, it truly delivered well-designed and handcrafted items from Scandinavia. Their curation gives a great sense of the Scandinavian lifestyle I crave wrapped up in a great theme each time. I always look forward to discovering new brands I never would have found otherwise.
