The theme for the upcoming GlobeIn February 2019 Box is…Masquerade!

Dear Friends,

Are you a fan of outdoor parties and parades? A lover of jazz music? Wooed by the French language, or perhaps intrigued by the mystery of meeting a beautiful stranger at a masked ball? For all of you who are mad for Mardi Gras and crave the carnival scene, I curated the Masquerade Box just for you!

So Laissez les bons temps rouler, or that is to say, let the good times roll.

Cheers gregariously with a set of Hand-Blown Green Rim Glasses, color your world New Orleans-style with a Gold and Upcycled Sari Macrame Garland, and fool your friends with a Hand-Embroidered Mask.
Celebrate spring and throw a set of hand-carved wooden beads around your neck, or channel your inner parade float and toss your beads at your friends. Not to mention your new Handsewn Mini Plush Animal is perfect for tossing as a trinket, or loving as a new souvenir.

  1. Ok I’m totally confused. Is this the stuff in the premium box for $40? Because I signed up for the 14.00 a month option and received a completely chintzy toy game that looks like it cost 50 cents. Not impressed Globein

  2. I love Mardi Gras, but this is the worst box I have ever seen!!!! Everything in it looks like it was made as a school art project by elementary students!!! I am giving up on trying to like Globein. This is just sad.

  3. Some of these comments are too funny. It is not supposed to make you feel like Valentines day at all lol. Its themed around Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday, the colors are dead on, the items are as well. And sending it in February so that you have it before Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday (this year on March 5th) is awesome. The worst is getting a holiday themed box after the holiday has already past.

  4. Feels like a Mardi Gras box early, which is awesome that we will have it in time for the day. With that said, the critter seems like an addin that isnt needed. Also, this is one i will def skip, but I applaud the early box for the occasion!!

  5. I don’t know what this box cost, it isn’t listed above that I saw, but it isn’t worth the price of the glasses. Everything else is yucky. The glasses are at Kohl’s for about $6. a piece.

  6. What an atrocious box. The color combinations are just so garish, I just don’t see how they would fit into anyone’s life. Even the poor little monkey isn’t very pretty. This box makes me feel sad.

    • Agreed! The mask seems a particularly poor choice. I imagine they’re sized for adults not kids, so I can’t imagine they would get a lot (any?) use.

Though I do applaud them for sending out a box in February that is not valentine themed!

    • I tried to post another comment below but it hasn’t shown up yet. I can see how this box isn’t for everyone but I like it. The colors are mardi gras colors and they make me happy, not sad at all. To each their own… My dog’s leash is even yellow, green and purple. I’m not sure how I will use the mask but it would be fun for Halloween (or Mardi Gras if you celebrate that)…or just decoration the rest of the year.

  7. What a scary box(for me only)…. I not in favor of this one at all.I hope I skipped right. This doesn’t make me think of valentines day at all …..its not supposed to but ….

    • I’m not!

    • I can see how this wouldn’t be for everyone but I’m actually kind of excited about it (the past couple haven’t been for me so I redeemed my money for add-ons instead). I have no clue what I’m going to use that mask for but I do think it’s cute. FYI – you can’t skip until the selection window opens on the 1st. So make sure you log in then to either skip, choose a different theme or redeem your points for add ons instead! Hope next month’s choice is a better fit for you….

      • Sincere question for LB: Are you paid by GlobeIn?

        • I think she is. I’m pretty sure she’s one of the moderators for their Facebook page.
