BuffBoxx December 2018 Review
BuffBoxx does not include an itemized list of the content within the box, but they do sometimes include some bonus items. This month they sent out a promotional Buffboxx flashlight keychain and a promotional Activ5 gym towel (there isn’t any info in the box about Activ5, but it is a portable training device and app).
Breach is a recovery powder that is infused with electrolytes and vitamins to ensure a healthy recovery period during and after workouts. The electrolytes aid in hydration while Branch Chained Amino Acids repair and help to build muscle. The flavor sampled this month is a very drinkable strawberry kiwi.
Xpand Elastic Lacing System, 2 pairs – Retail Value $9.99 each
This elastic lacing system is the perfect antidote for someone like me; I can’t stand taking time to untie and tie my sneakers! They included some instructions on the back of the pack, and it was a pretty easy process. I will have to wear my sneakers out to the gym to give it the full test, but just wearing them right now, it seems they keep a firm hold.
This non-stimulant pre-workout blend helps to expand blood vessels and maximize nutrient and oxygen flow while at the gym and long after. I used this right before I went to the gym, and the Blue Lemonade flavor tastes like Kool-Aid! I didn’t notice any jolts of pep, but I felt prolonged energy during and after my workout.
I haven’t tried this sample yet because it seems pretty intense. It promises to promote laser-like focus, unstoppable power and extreme energy, warning those faint of heart (like myself) that this is meant for true athletes expecting to perform at their highest levels using stimulants and other focus factors, including citrulline malate which helps to boost nitric oxide, helping you to get your swol on.
RedCon1 Wristband – Retail Value $5.99
This thick band says “REDCON1” on one side and “THE HIGHEST STATE OF READINESS” on the other. I’m not one for rubber wristbands, but it is a nice promotional item for month’s spotlighted brand, RedCon1.
I love the color and style of these shorts, but they were a bit short to model. I couldn’t find this color, but it looks like this style is on sale in other shades on the UA website. These shorts are an “inside-out” mesh, offering a push through dye effect that looks really cool in this cobalt with yellow peeking through, and I appreciate the small pockets on each side of the shorts.
RedCon1 MRE Bar – Retail Value $3.49
Sprinkled Donut is a flavor I wasn’t quite expecting for a protein bar, but it really works! The flavor is great, and the protein content is a whopping 20 grams! The protein to carb to calorie content is balanced with 29g carbs and 260 calories, making this a great pick for a meal replacement or a pre-workout snack.
Verdict: BuffBoxx delivers another great box! RedCon1 has some pretty great products out there, and I the Xpand laces were a great addition to the supplements this month. The retail value comes to $93, which is a good value for a $49.99 (+ free shipping) box. I appreciate the brand spotlights Buffboxx has been doing these last few months, and I love Under Armour, so that item always adds value for me.

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the December box. There is a some customization with Buffboxx, so in a given month, someone else’s box contents might not match mine.
