Allure Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription from Allure Magazine. Each month they send out a mix of deluxe and full-size samples from mostly high-end brands.

This month they’ve changed the packaging. While I love those bright lacquered red boxes, this reusable vinyl bag is very practical for travel.

It snaps closed, and it’s pretty roomy, too!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: Allure Beauty Box

Now, on to the items!

Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil – 15 ml Retail Value $40

Sunday Riley is definitely the star of the show this month! For January, they are including 2 products that are launching first in Allure Beauty Box before they are even available for sale!

(This serum is listed as full size, and I received the retail info from Allure. FYI – Sunday Riley typically sells their oils in two sizes: 15 + 30 ml.)

I have yet to meet a Sunday Riley oil I didn’t love, and this is another winner for me so far! The formula is designed to brighten and hydrate your skin, and I can confirm a very dewy complexion after applying. My skin has been extra dry lately, so I’ve been using this and letting it absorb before applying makeup, and I’m very happy with the results.

Sunday Riley A+ High Dose Retinoid Serum – 8 ml Value Approximately $22.67

This serum has a 6.5% Retinoid blend and is designed to help reduce the appearance of dark spots, improve skin texture, even skin tone, reduce breakouts, and fight the signs of aging. Since retinol can be drying for skin, Allure recommends starting out only using this once or twice a week and layering it under the oil for extra hydration.

(I’ve been using this for a few days now, and while I can’t say I’ve noticed any differences in my skin yet, I am happy to report no irritation.)

Ouai Hair and Body Scrub – 30 ml Value $4.32

This is the first time I’ve seen this new Ouai scrub in a subscription box, and I’m thrilled! (Their standard haircare samples are somewhat common, but this is a new product release I’ve had my eye on!) And this scrub is multi-use, it works for your body or as a nice detox for your scalp to help remove excess product buildup.

This scrub works into a bit of a lather, and it doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy (which is good since it doubles as a hair scrub.) I love that the classic OUAI scent lingers, too. (If you’re a fan of OUAI scents, I’m certain you will love this product, too.)

Mally Eyeshadow Stick in Burnished Bronze – Full Size! Retail Value $25

Back in the day (a few years ago in the subscription box world), Mally seemed to be everywhere in boxes and was a little overplayed. But I haven’t seen this brand in a while, so getting an eyeshadow stick from them was a nice bit of nostalgia! And this eyeshadow stick is probably my favorite item they make. If you find eyeshadow intimidating and don’t know where to start, this stick is perfect. It’s super easy to apply (just apply it directly to your lid, no need for a brush), then blend it out a bit with your finger.

This Burnished Bronze shade is gorgeous, highly pigmented, and so shimmery. And the best part of the formula? Once it sets, it stays put!

(Swatched in lower photo.)

Doucce Relentless Matte Lip Crayon in Winterberry – Full Size! Retail Value $22

Another highly-pigmented stick! This lip crayon has a matte finish, and I was impressed by how long it lasts. It’s not transfer-proof, but it definitely is long-lasting, and it wears down nicely, too.

Here it is swatched under the eyeshadow stick:

Lastly, Allure included a bonus item this month:

NCLA Nail Polish in Call My Agent – Full Size! Retail Value $16

This polish is a cool, bright red, high-shine creme. The coverage is great, too. I only needed one coat:

(FYI – my understanding is that you only receive this bonus item if you subscribe through Allure’s site. Make sure the nail polish is showing up when you scroll down this page before you sign up if you want to make sure you get it.)

Amika Soulfood Nourishing Mask – Full Size! Retail Value $12

(FYI – subscribers will either receive this mask or a Beautyblender Micro.Mini Set.)

I’ve sampled this mask before, and it’s great. It’s free of parabens, sulfates, and artificial colors, and it is safe for color treated hair! I love a hair mask that you only have to leave in for a few minutes, and I could tell a difference in the softness in my hair after using this just once!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $142! I think that’s an amazing value for a $15 beauty box! This may be my favorite Allure Beauty Box ever – it’s worth the $15 alone just for the Sunday Riley products, but all the other items in the box are winners for me, too. If you are thinking about subscribing, I definitely recommend signing up before the end of the month so you can start with this box.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! As of publication, this box is still available. To make sure you get this as your first box, scroll down this page to make sure you see these products featured.

  1. I received my box yesterday, for some reason I have never received a tracking email.

This was a great box and I think I can forgive them for being slow, just would of like a heads up from Allure without having to reach out to them first.

  2. So I just got my shipping for the box from Amazon, which I ordered on Friday, the 25th. I also confirmed the order for $10 for 4 months from the Allure website and was charged, so hopefully it starts with the January box like they promised.

They were supposed to skip me for December and start the $10 this month but I was never charged, thankfully they answered my email and I hope everything works out so I will get 2 of these boxes.

  3. Today I received a small bubble wrap envelope from Allure containing the nail polish that was missing from my Amazon box early in January. I did not contact them. If you ordered from Amazon before the polish was available, you should receive one shipped separately also!

    • I also received the polish separately today from my Amazon order earlier this month. I got the same red shade shown in the review, Call my Agent.

    • I got mine yesterday. I love Allure.

  4. I subscribe through Amazon. My bag was ripped because the eyeshadow stick poked a hole in it. No nail polish. Amika mask. My bag was shipped on the 15th.

    • I received my polish today in a separate mailer. Ordered Dec 31. I didn’t have to do anything. They should get one to you in the next couple of weeks. The bags are too thin to be useful. Mine was torn also.

      • Thank you, Jacki.

  5. Just a shoutout to Allure and Amazon. I ordered through Amazon, got the box on time minus the nail polish. I sent an inquiry about it, not a demand, and had they told me the polish was just for website subscribers, I’d be fine with it. I received the nail polish yesterday.

If you’re just interested in a particular month’s box and not looking for a full pledged sub, I highly recommended to get it through Amazon. You won’t get the $5 discount or the new subscriber gift, or some gifts I’ve read that some loyal subscribers are getting, but just think of it as a one time purchase box which is usually a few dollars more than what a monthly subscription would cost

  6. Still no tracking and no box.. I’m glad I also sub thru amazon cuz I got worried I’ll end up with no box.. ordered thru amazon 5 days ago and my box is supposed to be delivered tmrw.. ordered thru Allure on the 8th, no responses to emails, and when called, they have no tracking info, and just answered that I will get a box.. just waiting on that box to canceled my sub thru allure and only keep mine thru Amazon, cuz they are beyond clueless and it’s a recurrent issue with their customer service..

    • Marie, same here. Placed order with Allure on the 7th and not a word so far. I used PayPal to avoid the cancellation problems, but it didn’t occur to me that I might never even get the box!

  7. The A+ serum was empty upon receipt, right out of the box! I’m not happy.

    • I read somewhere else this same thing! Empty or half full! Anyone else?

      • The airless pump takes a few pumps to get it out. I thought that a couple of mine were empty too.

    • Maybe we could get some people to weigh theirs before using (in grams) and then we can all compare to see if it’s full or empty.

      • The one I have is 24 grams. I am receiving another one tomorrow.

        • Is that with the cap on and unused?

          • Yes

          • Perfect! 🙂 If mine ever arrive, I’ll share the weights here too.

          • The second one I received today is also 24 grams.

          • I got my box yesterday. I don’t have scales to weigh this stuff but if I did, it would weigh whatever the packaging weighs. It’s empty. I kept the bottle in hopes that after a day of thawing, there might be some in there. Finally cracked it open and it’s as clean as can be in there. Not a drop has ever been in there.

          • Whoa! 😮😲😧
            That’s unbelievable!

          • I thought so too. I cracked it open with pliers while on the phone with CS. I wondered if it had frozen and thawed one too many times or something but this just has to be a factory screw up. Allure is sending out a new one. I did offer to send the empty cracked up bottle back … no thx. Can you imagine being on the wait list for this, paying for it and then that’s what you got?

          • I can’t try mine yet because I have a laser treatment coming up, and retinol is not allowed one week before and after, but I’ll post after I try.

          • Mine is 21.2 g after 1 use. I had to pump it like 6 times to get some out.

      • Okay, just got both of my boxes (1 is from Amazon), not sure if it being cold affects the weight or not, but both of mine (with caps on) are 22 grams each.

  8. So, I’ve only been using the Sunday Riley products for about 3 days and already my hyperpigmentation is going away and deceased significantly. Anyone else experiencing near magical results?

    • Hi Gina! I have a few other Sunday Riley products, but how are you using yours? I’m figuring out how to properly integrate into my beauty routine. I currently use the Sleeping Oil (not in this box) followed by the Lactic Acid or Brightening Serum.

    • Gina you’re giving me hope!
Did anyone else read the booklet? It said you could layer the vit C oil over the retinol. I thought you weren’t supposed to mix the two.

    • Yes. I try a ton of skincare and SR is one of the only, if not THE only, to show immediate results. LOVE LOVE LOVE their products.

  9. Got my shipping notice on the 24th and still waiting. No tracking info since it arrived at P. O. in PA. Seems to be MIA now. I’ll see what tomorrow brings. Still love Allure so much that I ordered another box through Amazon lol!!

    • Im in PA amd I just received mine today, hopefully yours comes soon 🤞

    • Me too! Said it was transferred to PO and nothing for days!

  10. Does anyone have tips to dealing with their impossible and unresponsive customer service? I still haven’t received my box and I have reached out for many weeks and the 2 times I received a response, it was a only a generic form letter response that does not address where my January box is. The last time they sent a Sunday Riley product over the summer mine arrived half empty in a soaked and destroyed box. I sent photos the next day and after promising a replacement would be sent, they never sent one at all. I followed up repeatedly and nothing ever came. Two months later they refunded the box which was less than the RV of the item they never replaced. I am beyond frustrated with their lack of customer service and their lack of making anything right.

    • You can call them, they have a phone number. Its probably your best bet.

    • Call them.

  11. Just got my box (well, ripped bag inside of a box) in today. I thought the general policy with Allure was that returning/recurrent subscribers get the higher value variant (if there are variants in the month’s box). Not sure why I got the tiny, fairly useless little BB sponges but I’m disappointed. What’s the point of returning every month if new subscribers get treated better?

    • Oh no! I was billed earlier than ever before! I called again today because I still have not even received a shipping email. I got a very nice person and she was able to give me my tracking number and check my status. Mine is still in the warehouse. I asked if they can see which variation I’m getting. Yes. Yes she can and I’m getting those worthless beauty blenders. Sigh… I know it sounds silly to some but I’ve been a loyal subscriber for almost 2 years and it was also my understanding that the long term subscribers get what is originally advertised/spoiled and the newer subs get what they get. I did tell her that they may want to inform the big wigs that their cheap bags are a fail. Just check out MSA. She giggled and was like OH NO! Yep! Brace yourselves for those phone calls! I tell her that I’m not happy about receiving the scraps. She said I should call back when I get my box.

    • Nobody is guaranteed to get a certain variation. Not sure why people keep demanding the best (or pricier) variations because they’ve been subbed the longest. I got one box thru amazon and one thru allure. Amazon sent me the hair mask, allure sent me the blenders. Which I’m pretty happy with. I actually really like the tiny blenders for my concealer, and I use it every day.

    • I have an idea for those tiny, useless beauty blenders. Barbie! My grandniece is into Barbie and other dolls. Lol!

    • Where did you hear that returning subscribers get higher price variant? I just thought it’s random.

      • Honestly, this month I think all of the early ships are getting the hair mask and later ships are getting the blenders. I have been watching instagram posts and today is the first day that I have seen the blenders. I was hoping for the hair mask but not I am preparing myself for the blenders😬.

        • I received mine today. It had hair mask

          • Yeah! I think, my box will get here today! Maybe I will get lucky😄.

          • I got blenders 😓

        • I think the point some of us are trying to make is that Allure seems to be taking care of their newest subscribers while the loyal subscribers are left hanging with the scraps. I don’t care if new subscribers get a gift but the long term subscribers should be the ones getting their boxes 1st.

          • People that received boxes the fastest are the ones that subscribe through Amazon, also the amazon boxes all had the hair mask.

I’ve been subscribed to Allure for over 4 years this is the latest a box has been the only time it’s been delivered late.

Some people that received the hair mask would prefer the beauty blenders maybe you can trade with them. They’re actually great for applying concealer, highlighting, contouring and even color correcting.

          • I agree. I was watching beauty star on TV last night and one of the pros got criticized for her models make up hightligjter etc not being blended in. A big no no. A pro should know better. You could see all the lines and splotchy. Blenders are a must for eye corners nose areas and such. Brushes can do the job too but blenders work better. Love them!

          • I’m sorry but no, that’s not completely true. My neighbor finally subscribed to Allure and she wanted 2 boxes, 1 for her and 1 for her mom. 1 sub is through Allure, the other is through Amazon. She got both boxes on the same day. Both boxes have the Amika. The Amazon box did not have the red nail polish but the Allure one did. This was about 2 weeks ago. She did get the nail polish the other day from Amazon. She has also gotten 2 welcome gifts , the Sunday Riley serum in the orange bottle and a lipliner?
So, yes, I do believe Allure is blowing smoke and lying. I can see for myself that they most certainly did take care of their new subscribers 1st and foremost.
As far as those tiny, worthless beauty blenders go, I have the same exact ones and they are beyond useless even though I have a small face. I took one on vacation a couple of months ago thinking I would save a little space… Nope. I wasted time and money because I had to go find a decent beauty blender at a Walgreens. The tiny one went in the trash. My grand niece can use these worthless things on her Barbie Dolls. If I have to use 2 different beauty blenders to do my makeup, there’s a problem with the beauty blender or I’m putting on way too much makeup.
Like I told Allure, if y’all are going to do variations, maybe y’all should think of your loyal customers 1st. Maybe send an email out (LOL LOL LOL) and give us a heads up? Maybe ask our preference? Because I kinda do expect what Allure puts out as spoilers. But that’s just me.

          • It’s funny how we all like different things. I won’t use the hair mask so I wanted blenders (which I love, hello and goodbye eye bags) which the people that got hate!!

Anyone have any input on the $10 box extension? I called to cance but had decided to stay if they offered me that, but they didn’t. So I cancelled. But I was curious what people said as the cancellation reason who did. I’ve been subbing for about 6 months.

        • I received two today, one from Amazon and one directly from Allure. One had the blenders, the other the mask.

    • I’m not sure what your complaint is as far as being treated worse than a new customer. The beauty blenders have a higher msrp ($18) than the hair mask ($12). You may prefer the hair mask, but you aren’t getting the lower value.

I also got the blenders, they’re good for under eyes. I already have a micro mini beauty blender, and don’t need two more, so I was hoping for the hair mask because I was planning on buying it anyway, but how would Allure know that?

    • The beauty blenders are the more expensive variant. My box directly from allure included them. I got a box through Amazon and that one included the Amika mask, which is valued at $12 , while the set of blenders is valued at $18. So if what you’re saying is accurate then you did get the higher value variant.

  12. I got mine today. Incredible value! I don’t know how they do it!

  13. My box is still in there warehouse! Are the just giving us shipping numbers?

    • I got my shipping number on the 19th. My box is supposed to be delivered today. So 9 days from 1st receiving shipping number to getting a box. Haven’t checked my mail today if it’s there.

  14. I just received my box. It was annoying that it was late, but that’s ok, it’s a great box! I personally think the pouch works better for shipping, my items were in the pouch, in the box, and did not move. So it seems that would decrease damaged items, and that’s a good thing. Can’t wait to try everything in this box.

  15. I signed up during the sunday riley ceo serum fiasco. I cancelled because I was very frustrated about how that all went down. However, I received the serum a week ago and this box looks good, so I’m giving them another chance.

    • That serum was worth it tho!!! I did the same but I’m sticking with them. The products/boxes do come eventually and the price is unbeatable. 🙂

  16. People. Settle down. Does it matter if you get it on the 10th or 21st day of the month? It will not go out of style. It’s so high in quality and it’s so affordable.

    • It doesn’t matter when you get it, but it matters if something is obviously wrong. I got tracking on the 19th, but my box got to a Las Vegas facility and then I hadn’t received a tracking update since the 23rd. I realize everything was shipped late this month, but when tracking had not updated today I called Allure. No one can figure out where my box is…not Allure, not One Stop, not USPS. Nobody. So I do urge all people who have not received their boxes yet to call Allure. They’re considering my box lost at this point and are shipping out another, but if I had waited any longer to follow up it might have been sold out.

      • Oh boy.. my tracker says it departed the LV facility on 1/26. There haven’t been any updates since then. Hopefully it makes it to me, but now I’m a little concerned.

      • Just got an update saying it’s arrived at the destination facility with an expected delivery date of Monday 2/4. So I’ll be charged for my feb box and getting the Jan box on the same day

  17. There are definitely shipping or supply problems with this month’s box/ bag.

I have 2 subscriptions through Amazon. I only received one. It has NO nail polish and NO substitute product if for some reason Amazon decided not to deal with nail polish.

I have one direct subscription through Allure, and it’s some mystical, nebulous type of subscription. They are extremely unpredictable, and they sent me a letter in the mail that my credit card was declined.
I don’t PAY for that sub with a credit card.
    They made it up.

I have no idea how to sign into my account with them to cancel or I would have after last January.
Oh, and just did a huge skincare and makeup clean-out this weekend, and I had 3 full bottles of the CEO older vitamin C serum/ lotion from Allure I had to throw out. It’s a year old this month, too old for Vitamin C stability, and I didn’t use what I had opened because I didn’t like the feel, the smell or the results.

Is Sunday Riley really that good? I’m just not seeing it in my world compared to MANY indie brands that Pearlesque and other skin care brands provide.

    • The boxes from amazon shipped without the nail polish (which is what took so long for the boxes directly from Allure to ship) but supposedly shipped separate. My amazon box arrived a couple weeks ago, and I really enjoy the ceo glow. It works for me, but may not for others. Anywho, my Allure box is out for delivery today, and I’m guessing my replacement polish from the amazon box is on its way, as I have another shipment from allure in my usps dashboard.

    • All you have to do is call their customer service number and tell them you wish to cancel. Google their phone number, it will only take about 5 min. Easy fix. Seems kinda silly to subscribe to a box for so long just bc you dont know how to cancel. And for the Amazon subscriptions, Amazon has the best customer service ever. Email or call them and it will take maybe 2 minutes max.

    • I have the number stored in my phone:
      Allure 1 800 274 1603

    • Call Allure, it really takes about five minutes. You can click on the link here on MSA to get to the number.

It’s NOT Allure or MSA’s fault that you still have three bottles of Sunday Riley after a year. You could gift those items or take them to a women’s shelter or even to a place like Ronald McDonald House where Moms are staying long-term close to their gravely ill children.

      • WOW!!! And just exactly who do you think you are?! I don’t think she deserves that. She was not attacking you. All she did was voice her opinion just like everybody else. Did you really have to go after her like that? Do you feel better about yourself now? I certainly hope so. Whatever it is you’re truly angry about, please go find another outlet for it.

  18. I for one was really blown away by the amazing products and value in the box. My birthday was months same day my Allure box arrived and it was an awesome birthday present!!! I literally screeched like a giddy school girl. Allure, your giving the other beauty subs a run for their money!! This month rocked!

  19. I can’t get my crayon to twist up. There is more product than just that little tiny tip, right?

    • I guess try using a sharpener that has the 2 different size options?

    • You need to use a makeup pencil sharpener. Just like sharpening a pencil. That’s what I don’t like about these.

  20. I had an Allure sub, and then purchased 2 more subs for this month to get additional Sunday Riley. I’m still waiting on all 3 of mine. One of the subs I purchased 1/9 just received tracking, but the other sub I purchased that same day, along with my original sub I’ve had for months, still don’t have tracking. I just called their CS to check on the status, and also because I want to cancel 2 of the subs since I don’t want 3 February boxes. After about a 10 minute hold to get a person, the agent (who was fairly snippy, I have to say…sounded overworked and most likely annoyed by all the calls she’s getting by frustrated Allure customers!) confirmed that two of my subs have yet to ship, and would not allow me to cancel the subscriptions until they ship! I asked when I was scheduled to be billed for Feb, as I don’t want to be billed for 3…she said not til at least 2/3, and that while most likely my boxes will ship by then, she couldn’t say 100% that they would. So I can’t cancel until they ship, but it’s possible they won’t ship until they’ve billed me for the next box…?… that’s messed up! She also said DO NOT try to cancel by email, because if they don’t see it in time, the cancellation wouldn’t be processed…she said you need to call. I asked if they had considered adding an automatic cancellation method on to the website so that customers wouldn’t have to call in or send emails that are never returned…and her response was that they used to have one, but that customers would cancel and then “call and scream at them” (her exact words!!) because their sub had been cancelled. The value is definitely there on these boxes, which is why I stay…but the customer service issues are definitely sooo frustrating!

    • You can start and stop your subscription through Amazon.

    • It is not even the end of January yet. Their system does detect different email accounts attached to a credit card. Why not just buy a full size? 3 subs will cost about the same as buying a full size in the end.

      • Full size what? There are two Sunday Riley items in the box, one of them being $85 for the full size, plus several other items. It’s not even remotely the same value.

        • The Ceo glow is the .5 oz, it’s the $40 bottle but still a great deal.

          • Anna, have you read the comment I was responding to? I don’t understand the point you are trying to make.

      • I paid a total of $35 for 3 January boxes, which isn’t remotely near what the Sunday Riley products would cost. So that’s why I purchased 3 subs. I guess I’m not following what your point is re: their system detecting different email accounts attached to a credit card? It’s not like I’m doing anything wrong having 3 subs; the only reason I did it on separate emails was to make it less complicated to track/cancel etc. When I called I told the CS rep right off I have 3 subs on 3 email accounts, and that wasn’t an issue. In the past when I’ve had multiple other subs on the same one email, it gets complicated if you want to cancel only one, or trying to figure out which of the subs is missing if it doesn’t arrive, etc. It’s easier to coordinate with them being separate accounts (especially since for some reason my “primary” initial Allure account I can’t access on the website.) Regarding it not even being the end of January yet…yep I’m aware of that…there are 4 more days. However, since Feb is right around the corner, and I don’t want to be charged 3 times for Feb…that’s why I called.

        • You can call and have them pause payment. My long response won’t post right now.

          • Thanks Anna, wasn’t aware of that! In the end, if they end up charging for the additional Feb boxes, it is not a huge issue…and the whole situation of course is a serious “First World Problem.” 😉 Just seems there should be an easier way to cancel. I am looking forward to my boxes arriving!

          • Oh wow! AH, Thank You! Your comment in part,”First World Problem”, totally put it in perspective for me. I’m so riled up over when I get my Allure box?! Blah blah blah… Well, I woke up in a warm bed inside my own apartment with clean running water and heat. If I need something, I go get in my car and go to the store… I could go on but I’m sure you get it. I really needed that reminder today. Attitude adjustment; ✔️

        • Ok sry I’m all confused now. Anyway, one part I think you said something about not being able to cancel until after a box has at least shipped. I think that’s pretty standard if you are not asking for a refund. The other parts, Idk, my mind is boggled but I see what you mean about the cost of full size. What if the SR doesn’t suit you though and you’ve bought 3 subs? I guess you’ll be able to figure it all out. Lol Personally, Tatcha is my go to and I order my 3 favs directly in trial sizes because they go a long way and I can handle the cost that way. I’ve seen alot of SR products (sample sizes) on poshmark listed and there are a thousand of them for pretty cheap. If it turns out you like it that much, try them for refilling your stock in the future. Best to you, hope everything comes together for you. I can’t even keep up with one email addy, haha!

      • Actually no, 3 allure boxes would be 30 bucks. The sunday riley oil is 80 bucks alone. So no, your statement is incorrect.

        • Are they not $15 each?

          • Not on the first month. So if you sign up to get extra boxes, the CS agent will make you use a different email for each box, so it’s at the Intro cost of 10 bucks. Also, I’ve been subbing to allure for 5 months now and I’ve still only been billed 10 bucks for each month, it hasnt gone up to 15 for me yet. But hey, I’m not going to bring that to their attention lol

          • IC. I also realized I had forgotten we are getting full size SR products. Lol Not that I care. I had done a one month trial of a SR regimen in the past and did not get the results I get with my Tatcha products so I’ll be putting my SR stuff on poshmark along with 4 other SR items I have to make a kit. I can live without it but I cannot live without Tatcha. Everyone has their own favorites.

    • You can call and have your payments paused until 2/24. It may take longer due to multiple separate accounts. A lot of people ordered extra boxes from Amazon, they don’t need to email or call to cancel.

The policy about canceling before shipping is li in their FAQ on their site. If they canceled and there’s a problem with shipping or your box there’s nothing they can do to help you. As far as I know, once you’re canceled you won’t get a box too whether you’ve paid or not.

You’ll have time to get your boxes and cancel before Feb is billed if you call & pause. Your boxes should show up on USPS informed delivery when they ship.

      • I waited for a tracking number for Jan box then emailed to request a pause for feb and they responded the next day stating they paused it, next charge will be March.

    • Try search fake credit card information, and change your payment to one of the search results.

      • That’s straight up illegal! It’s called fraud!

        • Yeah, great advice, break the law. Geez what ppl will do for a silly beauty product. I did a long trial of the Sunday Riley regimen about a year ago. The results were much lower than the hype. Alot of reviews are phony anyway. People will write anything to get free product. I went right back to Tatcha which really does do miracles on my 60 yo skin.

  21. I really like everything in my box.

  22. I decided to re sub to this box for the Sunday Riley products, since I’m a fan of it. I don’t understand why Allure charged me 4 times for this box? Has anyone else had this problem when it comes to re sub to Allure ?

  23. Finally! After first receiving tracking on the 19th, it says my box should be delivered on the 29th. Excited!

  24. I got the tracking info four days ago… but it just started moving last night. Allure has been super late with the shipping, now I won’t receive my box until February. So glad I cancelled, I’ll the box through Amazon when I like it.

  25. I finally got my box today. I received all of the items in review. However, the nail polish is hot pink and not red.

  26. Not happy with Allure AT ALL, I ordered 2 boxes the end of November for December’s box, 1 for me and 1 for my daughter. I was supposed to get a full size Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum for signing up. I only received 1 box and never received the serum. I’m beyond disappointed and WILL NEVER SUB AGAIN. Sucks they did this because it looks like a good subscription.

  27. As much as i don’t really need any more bags, i do have a use for these. Our stadium recently said no purses or bags unless they are clear, this bag will be perfect. And over the months I can give some to girlfriends that would use them, too. Loop a chain through it and I’ll use it as a crossbody.

    • Smart!

  28. I haven’t gotten my box, but super excited to try Sunday Riley! Payment was taken out I think the third. My MIL got hers already and she lives the next street over. No tracking or anything yet. Hopefully it shows up soon.

    • If you sign up for USPS innformed delivery you’ll see it there when it’s shipped. Allure will be listed as One Stop Mailing, Glendale Heights IL.

You’ll be able to see all your packages that are delivered via USPS.

      • Anna!! Thank you!!! I just signed up and can see my packages! Alllllll of them! Such a neat feature I didnt even know existed. You’re the best!

        • Awesome, Fedex has a similar delivery manager. I like to keep up what’s being delivered since it can be hard to keep track.

  29. I finally received my box today and I have to say that it was worth the wait!!! I ordered 2 additional boxes (for my sister and mom) and CS confirmed the additional 2 boxes shipped yesterday (the 25th).

So it looks like final orders for the month are finally being shipped. And like I said, DEFINITELY worth the wait.:)

    • Hi Alexis. How did you order the extra boxes? Did you open different email accounts or was there a way to order gift subscriptions? I’m somewhat new to this and any advice would be appreciated!

I think that this box is amazing! One of the best that I have ever receive. Thanks again!!

      • Easiest way is to order an additional box or two is Amazon.

      • Hi Tracey, I just called the CS number and told them I needed 2 additional boxes for family members. They made me use different email addresses and said I will have to cancel the subscription when I’m ready (if I only wanted the 2 additional boxes for January).

It was very easy. I never got a shipping email from them but that is typical for allure. The box is well worth the hassle.

        Happy subbing! 🙂

      • I ordered 2 extra boxes using 2 separate email addresses I have. Not sure if you can order more on your original account but I figured it would be less complicated when I decide to cancel, to have them be separate accounts. You can open up free email accounts in about 1 minute on outlook.com.

        • It’s a lot easier to use amaz on

          • If you order on Amazon is it a one time purchase, or does it start a subscription?

        • It’s starts a subscription but you can cancel on your amazon account.

  30. Just received mine and it’s missing the lip crayon AND eye shadow. Any one else missing products?
On the plus side, my bag is not ripped at least. 🙂

  31. My plastic red bag came with a giant rip/hole in the bottom. I hope they hear our feedback and not use them again. I am very pleased with this month’s products. I received two of the Mally eyeshadow and no Doucce lip crayon. I am fine with this though because I love the eyeshadow.

  32. I cancelled my Allure box…..but have yet to receive the January box that I already paid for! No tracking number yet….not email…no nothing! I may resub through amazon….but waiting for this box and just not having a user friendly site to check status, etc….has swayed me. December’s box sucked totally!!!

  33. If anyone can save and send me their pouches I can really use them for work!

    Jenbala @live.com

  34. I signed up for the January box and was charged for the January box and just received a refund email. So I guess I am not getting the January box 🙁

    • Try ordering it from Amazon

    • I subscribed to the box through Amazon Jan 3rd, and then canceled after I received the box. I subscribed through Amazon again just two days ago, and got the shipping notification yesterday.
I think you can still get the January box from Amazon, even if Allure themselves don’t have their act together.

    • Many people got that email, it was a mistake. Try not to worry but do check your bank acct to see if a refund shows. If not, you’ll get the box.

      • The refund email came from my pay pal not allure. I have contacted customer service and received no response. I am guessing they oversold the January box.

    • We’re you subscribed in the past? Sometimes their system kicks out an order for prior subscribers.
There was also an error this month it led to some people being billed twice. They were refunded and Allure said they’d send a free box, you should’ve received notification via email if you were refunded because of the glitch.

      • I was subscribed in the past. I didn’t receive an email from Allure about being double charged I only got an email from my pay pal saying I received a refund for the amount of the box. Thank you both for your response. Fingers crossed this is just a glitch I will still receive the box.

  35. How do I cancel this sub? Not interested in the Feb box and I can’t seem to get the website to allow me to log into my account.
I tried a few days ago and again today. It keeps saying it doesn’t recognize me or that the site is unavailable.

    • Call the customer service number on the site. I had good luck trying between 1-3 pm Eastern.

  36. Okay, I’ve Googled, I’ve searched and can’t come up with anything as to how this Doucce Lip Crayon sharpens….it says on the Doucce site that it comes with a sharpener….mine didn’t. I’ve tried to turn the bottom part of the tube to release more product and it doesn’t, it won’t fit in my sharpener….wth am I doing wrong? How do you work this thing?

    • You use a sharpener, it came sharpened. A drug store, Ulta Sephora all have very cheap sharpeners. Amazon has them too.

    • Try pulling the end off instead of twisting?

    • The answer is in your post it sharpens with a sharpener. I tried to reply yesterday but it didn’t post.

    • I have about 3 different sharpeners (2 are the doubles), and the smaller ones are not all identical in size. I assume that can also be true for the larger size😬. I haven’t gotten my box yet to try it out in the larger sharpener yet….

  37. Love or hate Allure it sure generates a lot of chatter. This is one of the reviews with the most comments

    • It’s probably has one of the biggest subscriber bases, and this month’s shipping debacle has drawn a lot of complaints.

  38. I’m curious.. has anyone received the mini Beauty blenders? I’ve only see people receive the amika hair mask.

    • I didn’t receive the mini beauty blenders but I wish I had cuz I would’ve preferred those over the hair mask

    • That’s because most of the boxes so far have been from Amazon and they’re all one variety usually/

    • I just got my box from Allure and it had the blenders….still waiting on one from Amazon (forgot to order an extra until last week…hope I still get January).

    • I got mine today, and I got the mini beauty blenders.

    • I did – just received my box today.

  39. My box showed up today and I never received a tracking email….best box so far!

  40. I subscribe via Amazon and didn’t get a polish. Boo 🙁

    • I didn’t get one with my box either (Amazon also) but they sent it separately, so you may still get it! Mine will be here Monday…

    • They were left out since it was the product that delayed boxes, the polish will ship separately to those that received the box without it.

      • Awesome, thank you!! 🙂

  41. Received mine today. It took about two weeks to arrive. Hands down the best box I’ve received ever in beauty boxes. Loved every single product. Shocked to see the complaints. I have a lot of useless red boxes piled up (out of guilt, they are too pretty to get rid of) and this relieves box pile up as my lazy butt has no problem recycling the new box.

    • Use your boxes to organize the inside of drawers, Marie Kondo style! I did it all over my house, and now I’m sad because I’m out of little red boxes.

  42. I got my box in the mail the other day, and I AM lovin’ this month’s products.

Packaging – I like the box redesign. I found that the red box was too loud, and not discreet enough. I don’t really care for the bag, but also I don’t need anymore reusable pouches.

Shipping: A little late this month, but I don’t mind. I eventually got it!

Products: Pretty darn great. I started using the SR Vitamin C + Tumeric oil and I love it. It smells like tofu or soybeans, haha. It’s a little weird but I still like it. I like pretty much everything except the nail polish. Again, too bold for me and I will never use it so I will probably just gift it.

  43. I haven’t received mine yet, but I always throw out the cheap plastic pouches! But what a waste, if they are made too cheap then they aren’t usable. I would rather save the plastic and put them in whatever is cheapest and friendliest to our environment. And how many pouches do we really need! Lol! I don’t care if it’s ripped, it will go straight to the garbage. I also don’t want the nail polish, but oh well, I’ll give it to someone who will want it

  44. I just now got a shipping email. USPS awaiting package.

  45. I received a “mistake” email, a correction email and then my tracking number. They obviously had some kind of glitch this month. I always get this box last, usually the last week of the month and mine is showing out for delivery today. I’m expecting my red back to be cracked, it’s arctic here today. That’s fine – I would prefer that they don’t include it in the first place, don’t need it. A lot of drama over shipping and packaging this month. I wonder how many people actually cancel, or change their minds once they receive their $140 boxes that they paid $15 for?

    • Oh, that gives me hope! I got tracking on the 16th, but my box has been lost in Las Vegas for over 3 days now. I live in Oregon. Allure said I need to talk to USPS, and USPS says they never got it from One Stop Shipping…and One Stop Shipping is telling me that my tracking number is not in their system so I need to contact Allure again. I’m so excited for this box, so hopefully my tracking will somehow update for delivery like yours! You’re probably right that I just need to be patient.

  46. I still haven’t received a tracking email or been charged for January’s box even though my account says I was on January 4th..

    • Same with me.

      • Me three

  47. Does any one know what city and state, Allure ships their beauty boxes from??

    Thanks!

    • My tracking said Glendale, IL. Mine should be here tomorrow-so excited to try more Sunday Riley products.

    • Ships from Glendale Heights IL via one stop mailing.

  48. My box arrived yesterday and I’m in love with everything. Thank you Allure.

  49. Mine just shipped (finally!) but I’m really looking forward to this box – exceptionally good in my opinion. Everything is new and useful. (The lipstick may be too dark for me but that’s a small matter.)

I don’t care about the packaging; I have a lifetime supply of boxes (especially the old pretty ones from Birchbox) and every possible shape, size and material of cosmetics bag.

  50. I love you allure, best boxes….a little slow this month, and the bag is very cheap…but I love the products….keep up the good work.
