  3. This ticks me off as the card I got in the mail said the one weekend for VIB but both weekends for Rouge. Calling is such a pain.

    • I don’t think I have my card anymore but I thought it said last weekend and the one before for Rouge and this weekend for VIB. But it wasn’t clear that Rouge didn’t get the discount this weekend too. I did think it was odd they had it spread out over 3 weekends though…they usually do early one for Rouge and then shared weekend.

  4. This sale is actually just for VIB members. Rouge member already had their sale. I am Rouge and just tried to use this promo code, but it wouldn’t work.

    • Yep. I tried myself and got this message: “Must be logged into VIB account to redeem this offer. Customizable sets and Google products are excluded from this promotion.”

      This really sucks. Sephora should’ve made it clear that Rouge members would not be included during the VIB schedule and only would get a discount on the Rouge dates. I had some things in my cart that I took out of my order because I wasn’t sure about them a few days ago, but really would like to check them out now.. :/

      Though, I heard that in store Sephoras will give Rouge members the discount if you tell them about it. At least we have that going for us.

      • Yes, I had some stuff in my cart waiting for my third round of purchases as Rouge (maybe I have a problem haha) and got the message that I need to be signed in as VIB. I was thinking of going to the store to see if I could get the discount in person. Wish me luck lol!

    • I saw an employee of Sephora tell a lady on Reddit that she could call the Rouge hotline number and they can manually override for Rouge member discounts online during the VIB sale dates. Might be worth a try if you can’t make it to a store.

      • I called into the rouge hotline and the representative told me that they were unable to manually override the code this weekend to get me 20% off, as she explained, I a Rouge and I already had my sale. 🙁

        • As someone who works in high-end retail clothing, I think that is terrible customer service! We keep track of our big spender “regulars” in the store I work at, and I would never deny them a discount we’re extending to other customers who spend far less. They need to figure out a better system. I’m only VIB status, but I think if you spend $1000+ at Sephora you should get to shop all sales. Corporations are always so great at making things more difficult than they need to be for both employees and customers. 😒

    • I didn’t realize this either. I bought some things in store today with my 20% off coupon and my purchase bumped me up to Rouge. Just now I tried to order the online only large living proof shampoo/conditioner I’ve been waiting to buy with the 20% off coupon and I can’t use it. Bummer.
