Bluum November 2018 Review

My Bluum box account is set up for my youngest son, Bennett, who is 7 months old.  Let’s see what we received this month:

Begin Again Green Keys Infant Toy – Retail Value $15 (found here for $12.99)

The first item we received is this set of keys made entirely from plants. The keys are made from cornstarch rubber and the wooden ring is rock maple, which is so cool.  They are made in the USA, compostable, eco-friendly, and do not contain BPA or phthalates. Even better, they are dishwasher safe!! I like that you can completely remove the keys from the ring, too. These are a great travel toy made with textures and shapes that will appeal to babies. These will be perfect for Bennett to chew on and play with while in the car or at the grocery store.

Nuby Interactive Play Links 8 pack – Retail Value $6.35

I love having links like this around to attach to toys! I had a pretty large set (a different brand) when my daughter was younger, but somehow seem to have lost them all since she was a baby, so these were a welcome item this month. I love how bright these colors are and that each one has a different texture on them. That makes them a fun tactile experience for baby and will definitely appeal to the teething tot!

Here they are linked together and also linked to our keys which we can then easily attach to a stroller or strap to keep them from getting lost!

Jellystone Designs Rainbow Stacker – Retail Value $19.95

This rainbow teether stacker toy is my favorite item in the box this month. The packaging is great and caught my eye right away! These are made with a smooth child-friendly silicone that is free of BPA, phthalates, and PVC. I love the way they stack up into a nice neat toy that you can carry by the little orange ring.

This certainly will stimulate a lot of senses with all of the bright colors and various textures. It’s great for hand-eye coordination and fine motor development, even as he grows. Even big brother was trying to play with this one! They come apart easily enough that Bennett can take them apart, yet when they are together they stick to each other well nicely too. It’s a perfect balance for tiny hands.

Most importantly though, it’s Bennett approved!

Infantino Textured Multi Ball Set – Retail Value $10 (different colored set found here for $8.99)

This set of balls is another bright and textured treat for babies! I love that they are smaller so his tiny hands can grab them and all of the textures are so fun and perfect for him to explore. I haven’t given them to him yet, but if I had to guess, that yellow ball is headed straight for his mouth! Fortunately, they are BPA free though. I also like that there are six of them, so this is one toy that I might let big brother share with him since I know he will be all over these as well!

Here’s a closeup of the different textures and beautiful colors.

Verdict: I really loved all of the toys in our Bluum box this month! They were all sort of similar in that the featured so many vibrant colors and awesome textures for little ones to explore. They will be great as he continues to teethe and mouth everything. Most of these toys were new to us, which is always welcome and also impressive considering he’s the third baby! This box costs $34 a month, including free shipping, and the total value of the items we received is $51.30 which is a great value for such unique toys that I know he will enjoy for quite a while.

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? All orders are processed the first of every month and shipped out on the 9th. If you order today, you will start receiving a box for next month.
