Heads up to anyone who is thinking of getting an annual subscription: It looks like they now require you to pay upfront for the entire year instead of paying each month like they previously did. Also, they started charging me $17.02 instead of $16 per month. Feels unethical since I signed on for the annual due to their advertised price of $16/month. When my subscription ends, I’m done with them.

I hope this doesn’t end up becoming another makeup box. I subscribed because previous boxes were mainly bath, hair and skin care items. 3 makeup products is not what I want from this sub, and I hope it doesn’t become the norm.

I use to get this box for months and loved it so much. I loved it more that it came all the way from the UK to little old me in MA. Lots of skin care though which is ok. I love a mix though but I still miss this box. I had to change over a CC and thst was the nightmare and Customer Service can’t help you in anyway unless it’s to cancel you account. That simple issue took weeks of back and forth with many and after all that I ended up with no subscription. I would probably still be with them if it wasn’t for that nightmare.
I too loved their boxes and alway used them to put all my other beauty samples in as well as making goodie boxes for neighbors and friends and family. They big and always gorgeous.

My card was hacked and I had to set up a new one. I did a live chat and had no problem switching the info. I even got my box earlier than I normally do. I’m on my third year and this is the sub I would keep if I had to cancel all but one.
This November box is a bit makeup heavy but that is not the norm. (At least in my opinion). What I am finding is that while the product brands may be different, they seem to send similar items in the months. If I remember correctly November last year was makeup heavy but we are going into holiday/party season. The birthday box in September of this year was similar to last years. Not identical but similar. I’m going to keep an eye on this and see if it is indeed a trend. But I do love the opportunity to try so many new items I would otherwise not know of.

I don’t mind the eyeliner since I only have this sub and im almost done with my current one. But I’m over-stocked with highlighter, since last years advent calendar had two and this sub has had likea 3 past year? So I’m really hoping for that eyeshadow….

Right? I know it’s dramatic but when I saw *another black liner* my first thought was: long after humans cease to inhabit the Earth, there will still be millions and millions of sample size black liners littering the landscape…

I canceled Ipsy and Birchbox for that very reason. My other subs still send black eyeliner so I can’t seem to get away from it though.

I’m in product overload so I did not renew my sub, but it will be a sub I come back to. I was rarely disappointed with this box and it was a fun gift to myself to open every month; not to mention the very up-cycle-able boxes (only two ever arrived damaged from overseas).
