UrbaneBox Top And Jeans Review

UrbaneBox tends to vary a lot in the styles they send. Most of the time, the items they send work together as an outfit. This month they sent me a casual sleeveless top and some jeans. Let’s see how they look!

There is a flat rate envelope for any returns/exchanges you have. You simply log on to your account and request a return label if needed. Return shipping is free when exchanging sizes.

Emaline Sleeveless Top in Multi Floral, M

Emaline Sleeveless Top in Multi Floral, M – Retail Value $39

This is a good transition piece for this time of year. I can wear it alone for the last hot days of summer or layer it under cardis and blazers when it starts to cool off. The polyester chiffon is a little bit sheer but not sheer enough to show my nude bra. I love that it doesn’t wrinkle; I’ve kept it in my bookbag for a week now and not a wrinkle in sight. The curved hem is longer in the front and back so I can wear it with my leggings and have some coverage. I appreciate the wide “strap” area and that I can button up the neckline without any gaping at the bust.

Hidden Jeans 5 Pocket Coated Stretch Skinny Jean, 26 – Estimated Value $97*

*Most jeans from Hidden Jeans run at $97, so I’ve estimated that to be the value of these. Keep in mind, coated denim is often more expensive, so these could be valued higher.

I was so happy to see some coated denim skinnies. These have slight crinkling in the fabric at the hip but a pretty solid wash over the length of the jean. The coating gives them a smooth feel and a shine that looks really unique. All of the stitching and details look neat and well done. These are size 26 though and didn’t make it up past my thighs. *sigh* I used the included return envelope and a return label provided to me on my profile to send these in to exchange for a larger size for free. I’m looking forward to trying a larger size because Hidden Jeans tend to have a higher price point than I’d spend if I was just out shopping.

Verdict: This month, my UrbaneBox had a different, more casual style for me. I think the tank will be perfect for layering later in fall. The jeans are totally my style even though they weren’t the right size for me. Sending them back for an exchange is easy and free, so I’m looking forward to getting a size up. Customer service is very helpful if you have any issues or questions. I never know what to expect in terms of style, but I’m always excited to try new things.

  1. Another one of these boxes that sends great stuff to reviewers and terrible stuff to everyone else – received a cheap plastic backpack that smells bad, a see thru summer dress in October and a jacket that appears to be a petite which I am not – there is no size in it. All items no name.

  2. The top is nice, looks great on you. I just signed my husband up, no plus size women’s clothing. FB30 gets $30 off your first month, if you sign up for their newsletter.
