Salem Stamped Cat Necklace - Listed Value $22.00

The nerd in me hopes that this necklace is named after Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch! I'm a big cat fan (shoutout to my fuzzy friends, Nigella and Jamie!), so I'm smitten with the dime-sized pendant on this simple necklace. I could see layering it with other looks or wearing it by itself. It's about 19" long including 3" of extender chain.

Mia Square Bracelet - Listed Value $18.00

Next up is this bracelet, which is pretty simple, apart from the diamonds dotted along it. I like how lightweight it is, and that it has about 3" of extender chain on it. It's classy, but the diamond shapes remind me of the studs you'd see on a belt or moto jacket, which give it a kind of edgy vibe.

penny and grace long necklace

Mia Square Necklace - Listed Value $26.00

This long necklace mirrors the design of the bracelet. If I wear longer necklaces like this one, they're typically pendant-style pieces, so I'm excited to try something new. It's about 29" long including 3" of extender chain.

The Verdict: I liked the simple selection of jewelry in this month's pack. It's nice when there's a nod to holidays (like the Halloween-inspired cat necklace) without it being too blatant that you can't wear the piece the rest of the year (or at all if you're not a holiday fan). It's cool that two of the pieces explicitly match, but I like that I could easily wear the bracelet and cat necklace together just because the metals match.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but sign up for their next available pack now! Here's what Penny + Grace says on their site about timing:

Value Breakdown: The box was $19.99, and the estimated value of the items inside (based on the values listed on the info card) is $66.00. That means that, proportionally, each item cost the following:

The average cost per item based on the price of the subscription is $6.66.

How does this jewelry hold up? I want to subscribe but I am rough on jewelry unfortunately.

I’ve been subscribed for 4 months and 2 of my bracelets have broken and fallen right off my wrist and almost all of the necklaces get knots in them. I am debating if I want to continue as some of the pieces are only good for about a month.

My gold turned very brassy looking and the earrings have all tarnished. Some of my silver is important good shape, though.

Hi! I’m rough on my jewelry, too. I haven’t had any issues with the pieces breaking or tarnishing. I’ve been purchasing this subscription for many months now. I really love it!

Thanks for the feedback ladies. I’m in GA so very humid here as well. I’m going to give it a try and see…hopefully I will have the same luck as Maria.

Jt

It’s humid where I live so I gave up on penny and grace. All my pieces but enamel pins have tarnished.

The cat necklace also gave me Sabrina vibes! I’m hoping that they’ll eventually return the pins but other than that I really enjoyed this month’s bag. Can’t wait to see the October spoiler!
